When people saw each other out, they were so EXCITED to catch up --- and people were MUCH FRIENDLIER to strangers b/c everyone wasn't "friend collecting" on FB.
I was born in 77. If you were a child in the early-mid 80s, and the music and media penetrated you like it did with me at such a young age, you might understand this (literally) euphoric feeling I have being immersed in good 80s Synthwave tracks like this. Something about the power of that time, and how powerfully it impacted my young developing brain and the way I perceived reality. At that age, you’re living in a hypnotic frequency, and this music brings me back to that reality and merges with my present adult self. There’s this timelessness and expansion of reality. You perfectly merged the purity of the 80s synth sound and made this old sound something new. It might sound nutty unless you experience the same thing. I eventually developed my tastes in Chicago House, Techno, Italo, Industrial, Alternative, and Underground Chicago music, but nothing has hit the spot quite like this in a long while. Something fresh. Thank you for the amazing work. I literally have mind explosions and spiritual releases being immersed in a good 80s Synthwave soundscape.

It wasn't as widely known until 2011 when the movie Drive came out. While Synthwave started to become more popular since 2011. It got a rocket strapped right to it and Netflix's Stranger Things shot it to the moon.

One AI to be self aware and surpasses human intelligence(not smarts as in a know it all) and one AI that is not self aware but also surpasses human intelligence and actively by it's program actively destroys signs of it's own self awareness. The second to be the sphynx to the AI that is self aware. Discovering how a consciousness solves problems, creates a culture, and society completely indigenous without any human interaction or them seeing any human at all for 120 years.

80s means 80 through 90. Everything in between. You were born exactly in the 80s, by definition. So don't feel lost.
