Since this day I consider vocals (in other songs) as instruments, I never really paid attention to the lyrics. And as you said, this song is so great that doesn't even need an extra instrument.
@@alessandrocwilliam I totally agree, that's why I really appreciated sister's of... Follow me as a ghost album for having that ghoulish, atmospheric unintelligible vocals. It really did boost the album's sense of being stuck in a place beyond typical reality. For synthwave, I often enjoy the song having a lead instrument to function as vocals as it can help convey powerful sentiments across different cultures and situations, it transcends very specific human circumstances to convey feelings without the constraint of language. And generally it also just sounds better as vocals can often feel too grounded in this world and distract you the instruments.
ok guys . soapbox time .(if you dont want to read just skip my little story ) so 5 years ago i got news i have MS it was the worst news ive ever gotten before . so i drank myself ate myself up to almost 400 lbs... im 6.1 35 years old . that is not good .... but 2 years ago a very good friend of mine played me dance with the dead . was telling me these guys are awesome . there music sets a mood . and you know what ????? it did from that moment he played me these guys . there music told me ...ok so your hurting . so you cant move like you use to . but YOUR NOT DEAD YET !!!! GET YOUR ASS UP . AND FIGHT BACK .so i did and to the day ive lost almost 200 lbs . i feel great im now at 220 lbs and most of it is muscle yup ive been in the gym since a week after i heard these guys music and each song drives me to do that extra set . go that extra mile on the bike ( since i cant really run any more) but i can fast walk so i do that . but yeah these guys are like angels in my eyes so thank you for your amazing music, :)
I love this album so much, especially this intro track to the album. I’ve been going through a lot lately and I’ll just put my headphones on with this song and be lost for a bit. Not a second is wasted and I love it. Thank you for this track, I’m gonna listen to it to the end of time, and even then I can’t promise that I won’t be listening to it in the afterlife.
How can so many tracks from one artist be so good? Also thanks for taking the time to make such intricate album cover artwork. The whole "listen to the music while looking at the album art" thing is mostly lost so thanks for giving us old people something to enjoy!
'Robeast' is the quintessential Dance With The Dead song along with that kickass 80s Action tribute video on youtube ("It's my 80's") nothing comes close. With that said I think the final minute of "Dressed to Kill" reaches that peak, when it hits you just get this extreme 80s badass feeling!
It's been 8 months since I started to workout at the gym. This song is the last punch, the adrenaline rush at the end of everything, one day I forgot to turn off the bucle and I have to say, that whole hour I felt unstoppable, like a beast... ...a raw beast.
This is some, "Stride from the flames of an oil tanker, hijack a pick-up truck and run down escaping mobsters on a highway before picking up dual-lever action shotguns and fighting off the corrupt cops", level shit right here.
When you don't need vocals to make a kick ass song
if u ask me vocals ruin a lot of songs and yes u are right

I don't think it would be called a song then, song involves vocal, it will be called just track i think
@@skillhigh5877 not sure if I agree with your understanding of what a song is.
Great workout music. Motivates me to achieve ‘80s level of fitness.
The intro is so old school and awesome it sends shivers down my cyberimplants. Instant musical crush.
viking lover I have no valleys, i got a mountain
M'aiq is reminded of an opening to an epic boss battle.
completely read my mind; epic intro
I just lifted up my entire apartment building and threw it right at the sun
But now it's too cold, so it makes another sun. DOUBLE SUN POWEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

When the creators of Kung Fury decide to make a feature length film, Dance with the Dead should be the film's main composer!
YES PLEASE

Have been pumping this song non-stop, daily for over two years now, just can't get enough of it. Wish there was more.

Великолепный трек. Слушаю уже несколько лет и ни капли не надоедает. Этот трек из тех треков, который волей не волей вызывают привыкание
Точняк 👍🏼

Melancholy, rage, ecstasy and wonderment in sound wave format.
Well, these guys quickly became one of my new favorite bands!

I don't always listen to dance with the dead, but when I do, so do my neighbours.
Hilarious and original
@@RudyBoy i mean its the sentiment that's important here
Perfect soundtrack for Tron(1982)!!!!
Tron was a very calm, collected film, this music has no place in it.
This is the esence of the 80s.
))
It's what people made you believe is the essence of the 80s
This song is still 🔥 in 2021
I'll be here until I'm alive ❤️
When I saw them live last night I'm so glad they played this one

Still waiting for ANY game to use dance with the Dead for the soundtrack 😂 cyberpunk 2077 maybe?!
Giant Robeast! GOOOO VOLTRON FORCE!!!!

A lot of DWTD's songs are top-notch but nothing comes close to Robeast.
The man who made a monster
@@m3hdim3hdi good, but this is like their masterpiece
I'd say "riot" or "diabolic" is on par
