Cagliostro is one of my favorite alchemist, such an enigma. As an alchemist myself I take influence from him after reading The Most Holy Trinosophia which I believe was written by him. I am so happy that you did a video on him. Thank you so much!
Dr. Angela, I must say, you are fast becoming my new RUclips crush. I love your beauty, your lovely Italian accent, your smile and upbeat positive attitude, but most of all, your vast knowledge of all things religious, spiritual and magical and your enthusiasm for sharing it with all of us. Thank you for all that you do and keep up the good work. 👍👏
I’ve actually been pondering a form of Masonic Magick, based on my own experiences with and musings upon the three degrees of Craft Lodge. Sounds like Cagliostro did everything for me. Btw, for those wondering, absolutely none of this shows up in contemporary Freemasonry. Memphis Misraim (if any such lodges still exist) is considered “clandestine”-ie. heterodox. So, if you show up to a lodge talking about any of this stuff, you’re going to be escorted politely out the door.
That would actually be rather closed minded of those Masons. There are a few Memphis-Misraim lodges around the world but they are rather scarce, I know of only one here in the Netherlands.
🪨how very interesting, thank you Dr Angela. I am fascinated by the masonic knowledge and magic that came from Italy, especially Egyptian Mizraim and Memphis masonry, grazie sorella ♥
Hahaha..😄 At the point of seeing the Anime, I laughed. I'm into Japanese Anime and watched that movie so many Years ago! And still love it. Now I wander how Gibli came across the story so as to match it to 'Lupin The Third'..? Very interesting.🤔 I know almost nothing about the real person of interest! This has been quite enlightening. Thank you.🙏🏾🗿👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
Something that never seems to get mentioned about Cagliostro (which I read in a biography by can’t remember) is that he healed the lower classes for free, giving out consultations and his ‘Egyptian pills’ to queues of patients. Actual doctors were angry that he took their business away. … and probably because he didn’t have a medical degree 😅
doctor dear ..sixteenminutes of welcome to the next level children! my brain is nourished. Dr. Angela Puca PhD you have sparked my interest. Super Star! thanks meow.
One of them, yes. A lot of the ideas that Crowley popularised stem from the tradition Cagliostro first brought into the light. The very idea of the "Arcana Arcanorum" is the source of the ideas regarding Crowley's A∴A∴
It really is kind of ridiculous how much you have to ask the viewers in order to drive engagement and optimize the algorithm. There were 12 things you had to ask at the end of this video.
I had to replay several sections of the video. sophistry /sŏf′ĭ-strē/ -Plausible but fallacious argumentation. -A plausible but misleading or fallacious argument. -The art or process of reasoning; logic. Now I know the terminology is subjectively abused, but the problem in going over this persons approach is more or less ascetics x sophistry. The Alchemy makes the latter stand out. In this case there is the presumption that he could believe he made gold, or for those who could not that he was more sophisticated than others who tried. This one video displays all the failings of the use of magick. More is simply not better but a desperation, reaching at straws to excel at delusion. Mysticism of this type is a hall of mirrors in which the magick is amplified back at the practitioner. It’s the best possible example for esotericism, reflect on what you are doing before you broadcast it to the world. You know in Job 38-40 job pleads with his god why has he been mistreated. His god responds by asking a number of rhetorical questions. At that time a listener would be back on their heals, but in the modern world we see the god as grandstanding, a kind of sophistry. Had the storied god carefully selected his questions, he might have gotten a critical pass, but by saying more he painted himself as arrogant. This is what exotericism does.
Imagine, 300 years from now, an academic studying a popular 21st century tiktok alt-health and alt-history guru. Despite it being obvious that the guru is promoting themselves more than anything, the academic still tries to tease out any real contributions that the tiktok guru made in those areas of alt-knowledge. Did they innovate, or at least combine previous "internet wisdoms" in some novel, at the time, way? That's how I see it... not as a referendum on the failings of magick, or something along those lines. Also, it's possible that Cagliostro's and Dr Puca's goals weren't what you assumed they were, and so it's hard to be certain of accuracy in judging whether what they did "worked" or not. I have a feeling I missed the point of some of what you wrote, and so I'm responding to the parts I think I understood... but I could've been mistaken about that, too🤣
For example, I doubt he believed he made gold... usually the point was to compel a person who already had lots of gold that if they gave you some of it, then you could make them EVEN MORE gold in return. It's similar to those scams where you supposedly won a prize, but before you receive it, yoi have to send the scammer a processing and shipping fee. The scammer doesn't actually believe that you won a prize!🤣
@@GizzyDillespee I think she is trying to “represent them” the problem is if you study houses made of cards, you can only study so much before you see the stack is going to fall if you do anymore study. But you make a good point, you don’t need to look into the future. I can tell you right now because I work in the health industry (the degreed kind) that some of the things you see ads telling you to do will make some people worse. But then that gets to the point. Is this person trying to sell others a sham, but he knows some kind of deeper truth he’s not revealing, or is he trying to sell a sham because people expect him to know some kind of deeper truth, but he doesn’t. At least in the Elusinian mysteries they got you really delusional for a week and put you on the brink of death, you actually did have some sort of mystical experience.
