    I'd just like to say, all of you that are dissing wayne on this video, go ahead and try this chart in the middle of a concert whilst having to play lead with a band this high of quality and then see for yourself how hard it would be he might sound a little tired but I don't think he is because his chops are still sounding as strong as they were at the start of the song and he even plays a double high Eb at the end of his solo which is almost impossible considering what he did before that, but just think how much he would have had to play earlier in the concert, I haven't heard anyone with more chops than wayne. He still does an amazing job even though the few idiots out there who decide to say it's bad are going around saying it, it is amazing and he is the only person that can sound that good, play that high and perform without disappointment every gig.

    There's a recording of them with a flute player at 2:10 that plays along with the lead trumpet, and it really adds a lot to the song.

    you know wayne was probably playing lead for a accouple of hours, I know wayne and he is a sick trumpet player. the best trumpet player that I have ever sat next to.

    Selector 11, PantsTyler says that because he realizes that it's such a high part, he'd probably prefer to play it near the beginning while his chops are still fresh.

    Both Wayne and Arturo are amazing players. Which ever one is better is irrelevent, they both respect each other and could easily wipe the floor with you, me, and just about any other trumpet player. But they still chose not to which is what makes them even greater players.

    I think its Ray Brinker, but don't take my word for it. Amazing performance though, Wayne is a freak of a trumpet player!

    It was just a common term used in the jazz era. The music/lyrics are still here, but not the societal culture.

    Anyone know who's on drums? That doesn't look like Bernie Dresel to me unless he got a lot older all of a sudden...
    Amazing performance though!

    @selector111 15 лет назад

    Lol, umm tell pantstyler, that when you are as good as Wayne Bergeron you can wail for hours and not be tired, so to Wayne this is just another song to play, he doesn't worry about having enough chops to play a song like high schoolers and some college students
