43:21 That right there completes the history of that car. The original owner of the dealership with the family to welcome the fully restored family heirloom!
I bought a brand new ‘68 Roadrunner in May 1968 when I got home from Vietnam. Cost: $2,900. The car was a post car in dark metallic green with a black interior. 383 Magnum with a 4 spd. No tachometer, no PB or PS. No carpet, just factory rubber mats throughout. The radio did have an 8 track tape player. Painted wheels and dog dish caps. The car came from Tower Motors, a dealership in my hometown of San Diego.
This car reminds me of a 1978 Delta 88 Oldsmobile 403 4 barrel with a 5 on 5 suspension with electric windows and seats it was one of my favorite vehicles that I ever owned and pretty speedy I might add I used to take it to the Friday night fun drags at KCIR in Kansas City and outrun nearly every other car that I can find and it's weight class also it was an old sheriff's car which I had replaced the factory timing chain and gear with a steel double gear and chain assembly right after I got it cuz I shut it off and it's stripped all the nylon teeth off the timing gear put the new one on it fired right up I drove that car for 20 years actually 25 my mom let my sister drive it and she wrecked it that really pissed me off that car reminded me a lot of those old boxy body type Mopar is you're talking about there buddy matter of fact it looked a lot like some of them and I love that car
Hello Mark and the team 👋🏽 I stumbled across your channel earlier this year and have been watching every episode since ❤love the great work you guys do and great to see how much you guys have evolved since series 1. I’m located in the U.K. and will be travelling up to you guys next year to meet up 👍🏽🙏🏽 keep up with the great work 💪🏽
road Runners are awesome, I never was a Dodge guy and believe or or not never did or will think chargers are all that, I never cared for any chargers except 1 gen , I built many for guys but my totally favorite car is the 69 road runner / GTX Owned many of both and had a few chargers .. saying that I do like 71/ 72 hideaway head light .. you can put 2 kegs of beer under the hood between the front and the core support lol, bud 69 to 73 RR and A body cuda's, E body 71 are ok .. but Plymouth always looked better then stuffy looking Dodge's.. 50 early 60's were cool
16:52 Hmm should have thrown him a curve ball, the 55 T bird the girl had that was probably repainted yellow and used in Cheech and Chongs third movie lol
watched a lot of the channel but got sick of hearing Mark putting people down. I've unsubscribed because of this. Love the cars and all the rest of the show.
I love watching them this way, .. I fast forward through the nonsense of mark, I watch for the cars not his commentary, personal thoughts or his high handed cut downs
@@tomboone201 I typically fast forward through those areas also, because I also like watching for the cars. It would be nice to have less Mark, and more cars.
@@Pens724 I like when he talks in general terms, about the people, cars, his superior attitude About cars gets me at times seeing my family all worked at Chrysler here in Detroit and I've ate, breathed and ma Mopar my whole life , I love the cars! I've many of these plus luxury yachts lol

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!
They can be converted without removing anything to run on "water". I made a 2000 cavalier and a 96 suburban run on "hho" Stanley Meyers I studied him 2 years day and night until I figured out where he ended up. It's absolutely true that every combustion engine made, gas, diesel, 2 stroke, 4 stroke. Tiny modifications and minor bolt ons.
You guys are great! Mark doesn't need to keep putting people down.
Thank you guys for everything you guys do!!!!!!

The Road Runner will never be a cheap muscle car again.

If only he would shut up and let us hear the engines purr and roar instead of his gums flapping...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

Mark as an entertainer is a miserable flop . Quit.
