Needs a scooter deck at the base so you can stand up and stretch your legs as the driver. Definitely an awesome commuter bike potential if properly equiped perfect for quick grocery store runs etc. Great review.
ya, since the motor on this bike is rated 750 watts nominal (an upgrade from the Z1 500 watt motor), I was hoping to see hill climbing in the review since previous reviews of the Z1 showed it struggling up hills. I was also hoping for a torque rating comparison between the ZX and Z1 motors. What ever happened to torque ratings in the specs? That used to be common information in reviews, now I rarely see it mentioned. And I wish they would stop using fisheye lenses in their cameras! It makes every road look like a hill!!! This is still a mostly good review, I'm not complaining, just thought I'd mention a few improvements I'd like to see.
Torque is awesome and hills are no problem, but hills will drain every battery fast. You can climb hills fast with this bike but I would tell you keep it easy, I climb a hill with 20mph or less and safe battery power then climb the same hill with 25mph and lose so much power for being a little faster. So yeah this bike can climb easy and fast and one don’t have to punish the battery and motor to hold a good pace. Sorry for broken English, all the very best from Germany.
when a bike like that has a fixed seat height, it would help if you mentioned the seat height and your height. You looked very comfortably fitted on that bike, but it looked like your wife was on her toes to straddle it and the Z1 would be a better fit for her. What's her height and your height?
How does the ZX compare with the X-52 by Ariel Rider? I owned an original Super 73: Awesome designs, excellent marketing. More importantly, minimal customer service with maximum prices.
The X-Class 52V feels more powerful but less comfortable, at least from a body position perspective. S73-ZX is upright seated while X-Class is way forward, almost cafe racer. But comfort is also a subjective call.
@@bandwagon240 There is a lot of appeal, a lot to like about S73. There was a lot to love about my original 73, and reliability was not among those things. Unfortunately, high prices + low service standards = a losing combination. It seems the ZX is a step in the right direction. Looks pretty good overall, however, I doubt I'll be shopping for another S73 after my first experience.
4:26 the crazy thing about that is S73 doesn’t even offer accessory lights to profit from as accessories. They have a light bar that only fits certain models, and usb rechargeable lights (lmao) it is a complete joke that they don’t offer lights as standard or accessory even though their bikes are wired for them and they have a dangling wire at each end.
Disagree about the suspension to some degree. If you’re riding at higher speeds (25-28 mph) in a city like LA with so so streets, you’ll definitely want the suspension.
Possible to charge directly from a solar panel? Can most good bike shops service these? Is the battery & motor generic enough to allow for future generic upgrades without the vendor?
ZX seats two and looks a bit cooler and is 800 bucks cheaper, to me that makes it win out, the difference in power is neglibile how much faster do you want to go on a bike, ya know? this one goes 28-30 without pedaling.
I emailed you but guess you get thousands so it's hard to reply. I've been looking everywhere for a Radrunner style bicycle that I can diy convert to electric. Because I can't afford 1300 dollars plus shipping to Mexico plus taxes. Does anyone make a utility/cargo style bicycle???? Thxs
$2K for a bike with no suspension is essentially a scam. My Ariel X48 has dual suspension for $1500. Full suspension is huge when it comes to enjoyability of any bike or motorcycle. Get it together Super73!
I like the e-bike gang you got going there Micah, :) Gorgeous bike, solid upgrades. thanks for sharing!
They went back to basics 👍👍
Ive want one if these so unbelievably bad ive had my eye on this bike for the last 2 weeks non stop
This is how everyone should go to the office.
Really enjoy all your vids and this one is no exception. Well done!
nice review brother i see you had loads of fun lol.

Great review.
Looks pretty clean, and is a nice looking bike. What a fun job you have Micah !
It is important to test how it is when paddling as well as uphill and downhills experience when reviewing bike isn’t it?

The suspension on the X makes it more like a S73 R/RX. However, it doesn't have the added benefit of motor failures the S73s are known for.

@@tompurcell3088 same. I have a Z1 that's modified, I doubt seriously I'll ever buy another S73 product.
The ZX has the added benefit of actually being in stock frequently. The X-52 is essentially on an endless extended time to delivery loop.
1:05 phone holding on for dear life lol
Haven’t lost it yet in a decade of back pocket riding, I think it looks scarier than it is, haha

Want one!!! 👍👍😀
I'm 6ft2. Would I still be able to pedal without looking like my knees are hitting my chest? Great video
Can you install rear foot pegs?
How well do they ride just peddling? No throttle
A Super73 ad turned me on to getting an ebike.
Question, what app do you use to compare speedometer and GPS speed?
Going to own one
what camera stick is that where you can't see the stick
I know Juiced , Ariel and other similar brands is free shipping but Super 73 has a flat $150 for shipping … that’s a bummer
Will you be in Miami this weekend?
I hate being a dummy but how come I can see the selfie stick & camera in the shadows but not actually in your hand? Is it like clear or something?
I don’t know why a minimum of a headlight and tail light /brake light aren’t required on every bike with today’s LEDs.
Frame looks like my 2022 Rize Blade.
How inst it fun to lean in to corners?
No foot pegs for passenger?
I AM 5'5 WITH AN 26 LEG INSEAM ..DO YOU THINK THE ZX WOULD FIT ME FINE OR MIGHT BE A LITTLE TOO TALL?
zx supports up to 6'5 youll be fine
How does the ZX stack up against the S2? Im not sure which to choose between the two
reviews tend to say it lacks power comparatively, if your skinny shouldnt matter.

Is this better than the s1?
Micah is a beautiful man.
super cute ☺️
I need one of these. It’s like a street legal way to ride pit bikes.
Wow so cool, will never take off in the UK 😭😭
You have agents over there for a long time now, haha
Well, I've got one here in UK. Much admired.
Yes I just checked they want $3,000 for the new one
Micah ................Less you, more of the Mrs.??????? always thumbs up !!!!!!!!
Couldn't agree more! I'll try and convince her
My mountain bike has shock absorbers and my electric bike will be as well!

get a stealth bomber instead! haha

Yes and also why put those brakes on something that heavy? They really couldn’t afford hydraulic brakes?
Nice
Dude ! Just get a Rad Power Mini !
No more single motor e-bikes for me. Super73 looks dope af but way overpriced compared to the competition.
All that space in the frame and they couldn't ditch the heilong case and put a larger battery pack
always a battle between cost, features, and California styling I guess
Can't believe they didn't fit a fridge, 3.4 tWh battery, and 900 gallons of cargo space inside that frame. UNBELIEVABLE.
this music in background omg -______-
NO SUSPENSION MADE THIS A FAIL. I HAVE TO USE THROTTLE ONLY AND HAVE BACK AND HIP ISSUES ETC. and no hydraulics or lights
Mmm I’ll get a sur ron lol 😂
Super 73 has a bad reputation for reliability and customer service everywhere you look. They look good but my money will go elsewhere
What else you lookin at? Thanks
I wish when you do these reviews that you would at least tell the price have a good day
$1995, it was in the video 😃
Apologize, bro! Or better yet look it up yourself you're apparently on the internet. Entitlement is a disease. This was a great video
he did mention the price at 4:04
Yeah and how much do they want 3000 not worth it not even worth 2,000
It's not a good value.
