- #Mohenjodaro was once a metropolitan city, trade hub and largest city of #Indus_Valley_Civilization that was ruined 1500 BC. Reason of its ruination is still unknown however the city was discovered in 1912 by the archaeologists of sub continent and first excavation to further explore the ruins was started after 1920 by Sir John Marshal and later by Khan sb siddiqi, BL drama, Rai Bahadur kashinath and some other European archaeologists. After discovery, this city was enlisted in the world's prestigious heritages.
During various excavations at site of ruins near Larkana interior Singh, lot of artifacts were recovered including human skeletons, the idols of gods they worshipped, things under their usage like utensils, tools, weapons, ornaments, storage vessels and many more things that are placed in the museum near actual site. Many objects were shifted to New Delhi, London and France before partition of the sub continent.
Only 20% of the ruined city is excavated, rest of 80% is still under earth. It was the largest, modern and well planned city of the era of indus valley civilization. Infact, we learnt so many civilized things from them and practise in our daily life. Their construction norms, welcoming the guests, great bath, drainage network and innovative technical ways to fulfill the requirement of daily life were just as awesome and marvelous as in the modern world.
During 2nd century, the highest mound of ruined city wad taken over by Buddhas and built Buddhist stupa there that is another marvel of old ages.
For the first time in life, I happened to be there and really enjoyed knowing the history of our ancestors. Here I'm uploading the video as well. Like and share to promote rich history and culture of Pakistan and indo pak.

Mohenjodaro probably predates the Sumarian civilisation of Mesopotamia.. the people of Mohejodaro knew how to make bricks, work with copper, used seals, developed agricultural techniques.. when they started to trade copper and lapis lazuli with the people of Mesopotamia, they also transferred their knowledge to the Sumerians who then became the founding civilisation of the Middle East…

Vedic and Harappa civilization are quite different and unique brother. Harappa and mohenjodaro civilization predates Vedic, Vedic civilization came into existence when Aryans came from central Asia and settled in north western then north and then all Indian subcontinent.

Well there wasn't any hindus to be honest, hindu is a foreign concept or given name to people living in indus valley. They were dharmic people, and dharma right now have 4 main sects which call themselves diff religion yet shares same core values- Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism.

This video is very informative and being a student of history I always wanted to visit these sites of Indus Valley so thank you for putting this on youtube. We have a history of more than 5000 years ago, not many countries in the world having right now and you are making a video of these that too so explanatory is really appreciable. Since 1947 all these sites were one right from Harappa to Dholavira. If the people of Indus came back and see modern man created borders they will rightly think that we as humankind only travel backwards.

Looks superb and beautiful.Pakistan for the first time looked soo calm and peaceful.Youbare the first Pakistani person with the other gentleman who is so mannered.We can just imagine how beautiful India might have been before partition as I have never seen that time,can just imagine of good old days.I liked one sentence in this video anchor says that human being has made most damage to humanity since old times and Division of India into Pakistan is the live proof otherwise aaIndians could visit these beautiful sites currently in Pakistan and Pakistan's could have visited any place in India.I am talking about normal inhabitant and not about celebrities who keep on earning in India as well as in Pakistan and other places.Life could have been heaven for local people.However ground reality is what we see and listen-Politics was then when partition happened and politics is there today as we see talks from both sides of border,so pathetic and shameful.Rich people are enjoying life everywhere only it is the poor or average people who are suffering.Anyway your video is amazing,please make more videos like this.

Pta ni kyun main jab bhi harappa , mmohenjodaro ya inn jaisi aur bahut hi purani cheezein dekhta hu to aankhein bhar jaati hain aur kisi aur hi duniya mein kho jata hu aur bahut ek gehari soch mein pad jata hu..... aisi puraani cheezein dekhne ka bahut shauk hai mujhe... by god's will... ek din poora pakistan dekh kar rahunga ... love to all from East Punjab.
