Dr. Cooper went into surgery because he wanted to be involved in corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, and the treatment of patients with traumatic injuries. Dr. Cooper received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, in 1994. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Cooper decided he wanted to continue his education by attending dental school. In 1999, he graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) with hopes of becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

I have had the opportunity to provide personalized and exceptional care to patients throughout the Tri-Cities area since I began practicing here in Kennewick in 2003. I first became interested in becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon because I felt that it would with allow me to make an immediate impact in the lives of my patients. People often come to visit us who are unable to eat and smile properly or are experiencing pain. It’s extremely rewarding to have them walk out of our offices with a solution to their problem.
I began my dental training after completing my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. I completed both my Dental Degree and my residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Loma Linda University. During my residency, I gained extensive hands-on training in anesthesia administration and the treatment of oral and facial defects, and I developed a special interest corrective jaw surgery and facial trauma cases. Following my training, I joined this practice and began seeing patients of all ages in our office.
My care philosophy has always been to treat my patients exactly how I would treat my family, and recommend the same treatments to them that I would if it were my brother, sister, or father sitting in front of me. I want to provide you with the treatment that will be most efficient and effective for your needs and to provide you with an outstanding result.
