Loved the video my husband was born their he is off Jamaican parents who went to Birmingham in the 1950s just off the Lozells road area We still go their now and then shopping or to visit China town we are just 45 minutes on train away I am sure many would prefer to be back in Jamaica in the sunshine but they do the best they can to survive and stay happy life is hard for many now The food looked delicious they are very resourceful in opening food outlets to cater to their taste at least they can eat food from home easy to get supply's of products in Birmingham

Go to the white hoods too like chelmsely wood, kings Norton, kings standing etc. Then take a trip to the Asian hoods like alum rock, bordesley green, Coventry road etc. Please dont just stay in handsworth and that side. Theres more to Birmingham than just them sides.
