Bastion-making most tanks learn spawn room layouts since 2016
It honestly made more sense to turn Bastion into a tank instead of Doomfist imo
But oh well, he's already op so they could just put more health into him and it would just work as a tank without more tweaks lmao
I've been part of the group that said bastion was good pre buffs for a while now. He's always been a good tank deleter. He didnt need any of these nice qol buffs that made him better.

Flats mentally was saying to himself "Suffer as I have" the entire time he was bullying the tanks 😂
Every match I pick Rein I get around 2 or 3 fights worth of fun in which I kill 2 enemies, then it goes either one of 3 ways:
- They go Orisa to render me useless.
- They go Symmetra so I can't have fun because of the f-ing turrets slowing me down while the Symm melts me
- They go Bastion and I just can't play offensively instead of hugging a corner for dear life.
If I somehow continue being enough of a threat or annoying for the enemy, they add a Zen to the mix or do an unholy amalgamation of all 3 options... FUN
A counter? To Rein?

It's a sad reality, but rein just falls over without his shield. It feels like his kit is very dated. I don't think a rein rework is coming anytime soon, but I wouldn't rule the possibility out

I’ll be honest as a tank main, Hanzo and sombra are more annoying. At least with bastion you can out manoeuvre them and dodge the main turret damage.

I honestly think he needs a nerf. He destroys tanks so bad, at low rank queuing solo it's really just a gamble if your team cares about how much he just rips you apart.
So... Really no tank can solo counter bastion. (Sigma works somewhat if they keep blasting during kinetic grasp)
Just try to imagine a team with no comms and they are targeting whoever they want and you are just getting gunned down as soon as you cross the threshold where you can't retreat.
Then a wipe... Rinse and repeat... I prefer his old version where he was stationary, Hanzo was a very good counter for him in the past
you mean the stationary that could sit there forever behind a shield and melt everybody just as much as he does now. Which, thanks to powercreep, ended up with that mode being completely horrible cause he just got dove on and melted in the time it takes to transition back to be able to move
dva is a good tank counter too.

I agree but tgee problem with bastion is that he still has a extra ability slot (used to be healing ability)
genji dash should deal 25dmg and not reset, if u get any dumb suggest im up
The idea of a delete tank button in general is a stupid idea. Why they didn't just swap tank mode and turret mode (with a nerf to tank mode to balance it), I'll never know.
@mattevans4377 You do that, Bastion gonna need something for survivability because his turret form is his survivability with the extra damage and extra armor. Basically you get rid of turret he becomes and even worse Soldier than before, so you ether give him his self heal from Overwatch 1, or give him something like Torbs overload
@@MrFlan1723 tank mode had the same resistances as turret mode, the weapon is just a lot less damage. Even moreso if brought in line with the likes of Pharah and Junkrat. Then turret can delete people as much as it likes as an ult.

Bastion has as much survivability as any tank, in S6. Change my mind
but got no mobilty in a mobility game and is more taller than rein :D

@@wever4873 grenade tech gives him more mobility than half of the current tanks, namely rein, orisa, ram, hog, zar, jq. But he is extremely tanky, more so than any tank that doesn't have armour, i'd argue.
I mean sure. Make him a tank and give him the Rein shield like he had on initial release. Because that's what it would mean to tank. He would have the dmg his grenade and a way to mitigate dmg
