Mark is the gospel of “sudden-lies” As I read through it again in my Bible reading, I realized that what is called suddenly, really had a history of waiting and praying behind it. The manifestation was sudden, however the prayers, the tears, and the trials were the spiritual equity that brought the suddenly to fruition. Miracles and answers to prayer are God’s divine partnership with us….He uses us to bring them into existence….which is why we cannot stop praying for America, our prodigals, or for other major breakthroughs in our lives. He is faithful!

Suddenlies being the end result of perseverance and prayer reminds me of having a baby. Once the baby is there, forgotten are the hours of labor and delivery, the weeks and months of pregnancy with swollen ankles and bad hair days. All you know is that suddenly there is a baby.
