music ni adalah universal, music of the forest..hanya orang2 tertentu yang mendengarnya diseluruh dunia.ya munkin bukan ini yang dicari oleh David.Namun saya harap sada borneo sentiasa maju..buatkan ia terkenal diseluruh dunia setanding music tradisi cina, jepun dan native red Indian.

DarkR0ze It's not messy at all, in fact we live in great harmony sharing our culture and rainforest with one another. It's quite the peaceful island and always nice when you meet a fellow Bornean. Sada Borneo is doing well representing our island, if you like this, pop by and check out the Rainforest World Music Festival over here happening in August. Good fun and music.

i actually enjoyed listening to Sada Borneo's music. I guess it is an Asian thing. David and Melanie are coming from western backgrounds and so do perhaps their definition of what "world class" is.

Not necessarily an Asian thing. This was flat compared to their audition. The music might be soothing, but it's not what I call "World Class" either.
Weren't Triqstar and Khusugtun Asian enough in their peformances? Did David Foster and Melanie C show any hint of dislike towards them? No.

For my indonesian brothers and sisters who always and always gave negative comments about this rather than learn more Geography subject in class. Borneo is part of Malaysia (Sarawak & Sabah) and Indonesia (Kalimantan). They are from Malaysia, the same ethic with people in Kalimantan that share the same culture bcoz they are also Borneo people. Stop talking rubbish talling that this is Indonesia culture. THIS IS OUR CULTURE THAT WE SHOULD TOGETHER PROUND OF. Next time, don't sleep in Geography class. LOVE, your Malaysian friend. * kita serumpun.

To Indonesian people, those instruments are parts of heritage of Dayak from Sarawak. It's not been made up yesterday. I'm sure Indonesia has Dayak people there too, and have their own versions of these instrument & style of play.
Like many things in Southeast Asia, they some that bound to have some similarities. Why? Because we're neighbours. Migration of people & culture happened ages ago, and will always happen.
Remember, international borders are imaginary lines created by governments to differentiate us. Sarawak, Sabah, Kalimantan & Brunei are actually people of the same island. Maybe some day, if we cooperate, we may secede from the existing government and form one new nation, that is Borneo. Wouldn't that be nice?

they were good. Just maybe they dont have so much time to practice a new music for semis. i think to create some kind of those musics with combination of traditional instruments and modern need a very tough work. no matter what Sada borneo, keep going! I believe one day your instrumental songs will be a phenomenon
