My mom used to put on me cantu leave in (after shampoo and conditioner) and on top of that the Indian hemp (she used to mix in the Indian hemp jar a little bit of olive oil and castor oil also). The braid out results was amazing! Try it 😊❤️
I saw the thumbnail and literally came here to comment on that hair food (as we call it). That stuff makes hair grow!!!! I think it's the weed. Oops I mean hemp😉
Hahaha that's so true. I remember we used to put this stuff on our scalp cos they said the weed made your hair grow 🤣🤣🤣. I wouldn't put it on my scalp now though 😅
I recently went back to using grease and my hair loves it!!!! Your hair looks amazing on the grease side!!! I personally think you should the grease more often. Great video!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
No I haven’t managed to use it yet. I’ve struggled to do my hair much since becoming a mum and also been trying so many other products so haven’t gotten round to it but will definitely like to try it again Also I’ve cut my hair twice since March this year so yeah it grew but I cut it. I shared the video of how much I cut
When you said climate plays a part I said yah! I’m in Florida I’m from Zambia and I actually think the humidity has been good for my hair growth. In Zambia, though hot it isn’t humid and it would grow but the way it has grown here in Florida I never thought possible.
Yeah plays a huge part and I love that for you. The Uk weather isn’t great for hair growth unfortunately. You have to really know what you’re doing or it will fall off 😮💨🥴
@@LimitlessBloom yes I noticed in winter (Zambian) my hair would fall so my grandma and mum used to braid my hair for the winter. Otherwise it would not look desirable
You voice is so nice Thanks for content Don’t really like the feel of the lotions and creams. Spent a lot of money on leave in lotions. Settle on grease and water now. Using Coal tar and T -gel shampoo and Mane and tail conditioner because ORS is really bad for scalp and hair. Blue magic and Dax bergamot nut will try The Indian hemp again
Love all the way from 🇯🇲 I saw someone with this grease the other day, first time I came across it and the smell is to die for 🥰❣️ I’m definitely gonna try it 💕
Thanks for sharing... Use to watch hair videos like crazy... thank God I watched alot to see the result of those who went for it and destroyed their hair... so I decided to use up all I have bought for my hair journey and then probably continue with hair grease and leave out the ones I don't like. Before I never really had hair routine, didnt have the knowledge I have now... wish I did, would have retained my hair to waist length but thank God I do now, it's better than not knowing at all...
Wow nice video... So when my hair is dry, I can use just water and Indian herm cream to mosturize my hair? Just water and Indian herm cream my hair is mosturize?
I'm wondering, is it advisable to apply it to the scalp, maybe just a little to enhance hair growth? Or will applying on the hair alone still enhance hair growth? Because I want to use it majorly for my hair growth.
You can try but I wouldn't advise it because it can sit on your scalp and block your pores which could cause pimples. i prefer to use oils and butters that easily penetrate the scalp. That way they can reach the roots of your hair to stimulate hair growth. Applying products to the length of your hair will only strengthen the hair itself and not stimulate growth. Hope this helps
I laughed when u said ur mum use OmO My mum use don't touch me on her natural hair and use kuza and it very silky l mean and l wonder how ...using this........
Hi I used the Indian hemp to seal in the water to set the braids for my braid out so no I didn’t wash it out until washday. If you have any further questions just ask 😊
Hello Im from maiduguri but do u think the weather here can help with my hair growth? I mean, so since i shouldnt apply on my scalp which oil should i apply on the scalp and how many days should i leave the greese b4 washing it off
Hi I’ve never lived there so I won’t be able to tell whether it can help your hair growth or not. I personally prefer to use light oils instead of butters or balms on my scalp cos it would clog my pores and give me spots. However others may do it and it’d be fine for them as everyone is different. You can apply any hair oil to your scalp either once a week or twice a week. It’s just up to you . I don’t wash the oils out if I’m using them on my scalp for hair growth . But if I’m using it as a pre-poo treatment, I use a lot of oil on my scalp and hair then let it sit overnight or a few hours before washing my hair. I hope that makes sense. If not don’t hesitate to ask 😊
@@LauraYakubu-r8v grape seed oil, babassu oil, argan oil, jojoba oil. avocado oil , almond olive oil are more medium weight oils but are great for the scalp too. A heavy oil that’s good for scalp is castor oil but can be mixed with other lightweight oils to make it lighter if you want
Hi, do you mean S curl as in using the texturizer to create the curls? If so then yes it does work. That stuff is strong and was made to texturize kinkier hair types.
I think only people with afro textured hair can get away with using grease as our hair can be very dry so it helps to retain moisture. Someone with straight silky hair wouldn't need to use grease as that type of hair does not need the type of moisture afro textured hair needs because the sebum from their scalp is able to travel from scalp onto the hair shaft easily which is why that type of hair gets greasy easily, doesn't need oily products and needs washing more frequently. I hope this makes sense 😊
@@LimitlessBloom thank you, I'm Mexican n I have like a curly/ wavy kind of hair n when I brush it it's CRAZY, I don't have silky or straight hair so I was wondering if it works on just anyone, I have a Indian hemp hair treatment but it's not this brand it's something different I haven't used it yet bc I'm not sure if it will work on my hair....
Oh I see. A lot of these things you won't know until you try. That's the only way to find out what really works for our hair sometimes since everyone's hair is so different and climate where you live plays a big part too. So definitely Don't be afraid to experiment with different products. If it doesn't work then at least you know 😊 Also how do you moisturise your hair? I only moisturise my hair in sections and only brush or Comb after it's been moisturised with water, cream then oil or butter which really helps. This video might be of help to you ruclips.net/video/NLvNqogfB38/видео.html
Can you use it in your braids? I just got my hair done and I want it to grow out? Hope it will work on my hair never had grease in my hair but will try x your grease side looks lovely 😀😀
I use it during my protective styles and I love it. I clarify my hair several times after the takedown of a protective style but I've noticed less shedding after/during the takedown. I retain more hair
Omg both sides took forever. I had to use a blow dryer sevel times to get them to dry in 3 days just so I could film this video😭. But I'd say the grease and water side took longer. I guess the water had no chance escaping lol everytime I squeezed I'd get a bit of water on my fingers. Very frustrating lol so probs better for styles you plan to keep for longer instead of twist outs and braid outs
Also there was no significant difference in moisture both sides were very soft. I moisturised both sides with cantu shea leave in then put then protective style on that same day. I recorded a tutorial (flat twists & Buns) and I still have that style as I type now and both sides feel the same. Wash day is tomorrow 😅 x
Wow nice video... So when my hair is dry, I can use just water and Indian herm cream to mosturize my hair? Just water and Indian herm cream my hair is mosturize?
No even though it gave good results here in terms of definition it’s not great for long term moisture retention. The best thing to do when your hair is dry is to moisturise with a leave in cream and seal with an oil or butter. Please note this was just an experiment and not an everyday routine. Water and oil on its own is not a moisturiser. Hope that helps
@@LimitlessBloom Not true. Ms. Mississippi uses nothing but grease and water. She never uses all of these creams, leave ins, oils, or butters. She doesn't even use rinse out conditioner. Just shampoo, grease, and water. She grew her hair to tailbone using nothing but that.

My hair does like coconut oil.
Black castor or just normal and can I add coconut oil in the place of olive oil?
I think you can use whatever oils you have readily available to you. Any castor oil will do and any other oils you have in place of olive oil

Just wash with a shampoo or clarifying shampoo. Very simple

Oh no 🙈 Just wash it out?
Try using a “strong” clarifying shampoo.
Shampoo with sulfate and blast that thing out 😌
ACV or lemon juice maybe?
Try a clarifying shampoo or do an acv rinse
Good job
