The fact that gender “affirmation” is the law and the standard of care reminds me of how radiation and chemotherapy are the standard of care for cancer…there are treatments that are healthy but doctors aren’t allowed to explore those under penalty of loss of their license

They are following the internationally recognized guidelines set out in WPATH for treating transgender patients. Instead of shaming doctors for doing their job, you should try spending some time educating yourself on a topic you obviously are oblivious to. 😉

The reason for everything that is happening is the distance from religion, because the three heavenly religions, men and women, have their own glorious place.
This is Fueling transphobia. Why you don’t actually interview trans people. Of course it’s not easy for parents of trans children. No child is allowed to transition medically anyway before the age of 18. There is no reason for all these gaslighting content.

The first interview literally was done with someone who used to be a trans being. Kids are transitioning in Canada, and there are many cases of that in plain sight. Feeling different is valid and actions towards happiness can be taken if need be such as gender affirming surgeries if you are at an age to make that decision for yourself. But having kids transition at an age when they cant even ride the bus on their own is ludicrous.

Except that teens are given hormones and hormone-suppressors in some countries. And the effects of hormone-therapy in puberty are irreversible. In some states, top surgery can approved as early as 16. And yes, there are people who regretted doing it. Bottom surgery probably is only allowed at 18. But medical transition starts with hormone therapy.
