Hong Kong entrepreneur Allan Zeman has been dubbed the “father of Lan Kwai Fong” for founding the famous dining, drinking and partying area in the city’s Central district. He’s also been nicknamed the “mouse killer” thanks to his tenure as Ocean Park chairman, when he revived the park’s fortunes and successfully fended off the threat from Disney. He talks about business startups, social issues and the competitiveness of the city.

I bet all my saving that within 24 hours (or more for safety reasons), that the entire fleet of Cathay Pacific will be grounded because of no show up for work from the entire personnel. I usually win my bet.
If the protesters lose their voices, China will lose Hong Kong. There is no other possibility; there is no other viable solution. If Beijing resist and persist, China as giant, the Honorable giant will lose his right arm to be severed forever. This is not my view this is simply the only possible outcome. My feeling is Beijing has not learned from a much, much smaller poker stack which was Tiananmen Square event. I know that one side of the equation is going to fall from very high, from a vertiginous cliff.
