Christine, the beautiful combination of your up-do with the whispy hair framing your face and the draped shirts makes you look just like one of those classic greek/roman statues. Gorgeous!
I just love your videos, especially the decluttering ones such as this one. Makes me want to streamline my makeup as well. I find you very motivating and am always excited to find a new video from you in my subscriptions. Thanks so much for devoting your time to making and sharing your wonderful and unique videos! Hanka
"i'm not sure if it's...as they claim" haha, great video, I love project 10 pan and it makes sense to focus on things that might expire. I try use up cream products as well though I do have a cream blush problem...
Its cool how you purge every once and a while donating or giving away items that might just go bad otherwise; the progress over the years is mind blowing.
I so LOVE this concept. I'm going to do this sometime this week. I recently finished a foundation in a summer shade & it felt good. I'm almost done with another one in a summer shade. I'm so wanting to try ELDW & a new lancome one. I don't wear foundation every day so it's a challenge to finish one by year's end. Its good to be encouraged to shop your stash instead of buy buy buy.
Thank you Christine. I've started watching you just since last week and I really enjoy your videos! It's like watching a good friend! Elle is for Living did a drawer organization video and credited it to you with a link to your video. I followed it and have been hooked! You're doing great work! Warm regards.
Very inspiring and ambitious! I love watching these videos because it reminds me to keep certain products in the rotation! Your hair looks beautiful in an updo! Great video!
I do the same where I rotate through so many different makeup products that I rarely finish anything. I think you have inspired me to select a few to really concentrate on and use-up. I think I can for sure do a project 5 pan for now. Wishing you safe travels to the Philippines. Have a great trip!
I realized that since I've been in college that I rarely wear any of my makeup, minus on the weekends when I have more time to get ready. And I think that the idea of Project 10 or 5 pan is a great one! Thanks for the idea! Plus, I love watching your videos. Especially the ones dealing with decluttering makeup or using something up :) Xo
Good thing!! Luckily it's only happened to me on a couple of occasions. Possibly the heat and humidity tends to speed up that process. Hey, I just ran into a friend who works at Macy's here, she said she loves your channel! :D
Lucky for you @Elle is For Living. I had a MAC Viva Glam lip pie get those fuzzy white spots on it. (I have heard that the Viva Glams do this often.) So sad. -Terese
This came at a perfect time because I'm currently doing a Project Pan(video is on my channel) and I'm starting to feel discouraged. Thanks for putting me in a better mood. Also, good luck on your Project Pan, can't wait to see your progress and updates. :)
Your hair looks so pretty today! I'm loving the updo. I'm also trying to use up my mascara samples and my older lip products. I moved this year and had to go through all my makeup, I'm working on using up my oldest stuff before buying anything new. Keep up project 10 pan please, I love the concept.
Cant wait to see your progress! I really do need to start PPing my MAC lippies.. I have had some with some dots on them.. but when wiped they go away hmmm I might have to dip them in alcohol and see if they have gone bad or not.. I think its just condensation but I guess there's no real way of knowing hey!
Seeing your Chanel bronzer makes me miss mine so much! I used mine up in I believe less than year of owning it so I know you can use yours, too! Best wishes as always on your ongoing journey of using things up and decluttering. I am working on using up a couple of blushes right now-major pan hit awhile ago on Tarte Blissful and I should probably just finish it up.
Christine, you've been so inspiring for me and so many others here on RUclips. Now that your collection is where you want it to be, come join me and other project panners in "pan that palette 2015." I took this year to pan the urban decay naked palette and I'm down to my last shadow! Jan 1 I will begin panning the Lorac Pro. It's turning into a fun opportunity to make the most of our collections as more and more people join in!!!!!!! Love your videos!!! -amber
You inspired me to go through all my make up products, creams, lotions, shampoos etc. in my bathroom. Now I have a so-calld FIFO inventory system (first in, first out) which makes me so happy and relieved. If I feel like cheating and not use up something before i start the newer product, then there is no point in keeping it :) Thank you for all your amazing post.
I love your videos! Your de-clutter videos have inspired me, and I've gotten rid of some of my stuff I was holding onto as well! I've been watching you for years, keep up the good work : )
I don't really do it 10 at a time but I always try to keep my older and nearly used up things on top of my vanity area to make sure they get used up. It's just hard when there are so many beautiful things to use!
Hi Christine - I tend to do the same and attempt to use more my expensive and high end stuff and I put them on sight so I use them daily. Love your videos. Love from Melbourne, Australia xo
The Too Faced mascara came in my recent Holiday Collection and it flaked on me really bad so I had to toss it. My Holy Grail right now is my Urban Decay Perversion. I am doing what you are right now and using up 10 products that I don't want to waste but they may be expiring soon! I have been on a no buy for body products lately since I have too many! I am determined to get through every one of them! Your hair looks beautiful put up today! Happy Monday! LuLu~*xoxo
For some reason I tend to not use my expensive (pricey) products. I let them sit and go old almost like I'm saving them for something, but not sure what? Yet my cheaper economical priced products I blow right thru them. LOL
A problem shared is a problem halved ;) I treasure them but apparently too much. They would be more cost effective as used cosmetics rather than vanity ornaments.
No Project Pan but I decluttered my lip products which felt good. I bought 2 LE Wet n Wild 5 pans today and just decided that can be my Holiday make up purchase. Those Holiday kits make me want ALL of them, and you end up getting products in the kits you don't like or will never use and I just don't need any more make up. Maybe I could buy one small item like a nice lipstick or something but I just don't have the space or need for more kits. You have taught me what a waste that is, thanks for your ongoing restraint!
You picked some great items!! I'm on my *THIRD Project 10 Pan* for this year. All makeup too. I don't see the point in throwing in items that aren't makeup since that's what my issue is ;) Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze one last Project Pan in before the end of the year. Good luck!
Wow, still getting a video done even though you're getting ready for your trip. Nice! I've been working on a lot of my makeup since watching your vids and I've actually finished a Pixie bronzer and I'm almost done with my Maybelline Fit Me Powder and my elf Healthy Glow Bronzer. I love all three so I might even repurchase but who knows! lol. I read your article in MauiTime. So nice and such a great picture of you. Congratulations again on that! Good luck on your trip. Can't wait to watch your next vlog. 8)
First off I LOVE how you did your hair and that nail color is amazing! I'm definitely a "tartelette"lol I use almost all Tarte products. My favorite and go-to of their foundations is the Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation with the Airbuki brush. I've tried the full coverage liquid foundation but I didn't really care for it because it felt too heavy on my skin especially here in HI. I also like their park avenue princess matte bronzer.
I did something similar to this as well! But I always find myself forgetting to use those particular products lol..it's bad. But this is def an encouragement to hop back to it! xx
I know right?! I agree with GianlnJersey, I've found it's quite a bit easier if those particular products are placed all together in a container and kept out where you can see them every morning. I struggled with my last project 10 pan, But since I started doing it this way, the products are getting used up noticeably faster. xoxo
Hi Christine, right I am going to look at my collection (which consists of like half a small drawer!) and add to it!! I have made my decision!! LOL thanks for sharing, You are awesome, beautiful in and out! x x x
I just finished using the first mac lipstick I bought in 1998-MAC Spirit. 16 years, and yes, I did frequently clean it off with alcohol. This is very inspiring.
Hey! Love your hair up!!! Looks so gorgeous on you, very flattering! Really enjoyed your video. God bless you. PS have a safe trip, will add you to my prayers......
I'm not lucky enough to live in a lovely climate so I've never seen white bumps at all, (at least not in my makeup!), but I have had some creams for a long time so it was interesting to hear your comments. I will be starting something like this in October and if I'm really brave after, I'll do a declutter. I'm scared already!
Usually i do not comment, but I simply love your videos! You're such a huge inspiration for me and i love all your declutter and DIY ideas! When I see your progress it inspires me to also make progress on my own projects. So thank you again for being here and sharing your experience :) (Sorry for my bad english :/)
Hi Christine, I have watched your video s for a long time. I remember doing a search for shabbychic and you and micheal were doing the tall bench. You have evolved so much and by watching your channel I started to come out of a bad time . I just want to say thanks you are more than a girl showing makeup tips, although I love them too
I had a bunch of makeup in storage once and it got really cold, maybe to a freezing point, and all the lipsticks inside became really sticky and tar-like. I noticed a lot of that sweaty stuff happening but it was oily instead of just regular moisture. Ugh. So sad I had to toss it out. Love a lot of those choices - the mauve lipstick at the end looks especially fun.
Love your eye makeup! Totally agree I should be using my most expensive and treasured makeup before it goes bad! Greetings from the Netherlands! Daphne xxx
I like the gel eyeliner from ELF. I've only tried the black and it's stayed pretty moist and I've had it for 3-4 months. I figure if it's going to dry out anyways might as well be cheap!
I am working on a project 10 pan and a use 6 by Christmas. The 6 items are all products I own, but they are categories I don't always use. I have some primers, nail polish, and a setting spray in that one. The 10 pan is all my normal stuff. I am mostly in need of using up body products, skin care, and fragrance.
Ah, I'm going to start something like this. Have no idea what to call it but I'm going to try finish some things by Christmas. There are so many things I want to try but so much needs used first. Also, I have the MUFE Duo Mat powder foundation. I like it quite a bit. Light dusting to full coverage. I think it's in the $30 range at Sephora.
I misssss the Chanel powder in Suede!! They discontinued that color! :( It was my FAV!!! I still loooove that powder it's my ride or die..LOL! I WISH I could find something that works just as well, because it's not cheap..hehe!!! Love your hair up, you look GORGEOUS!! XOXO
Love the hair. I'm also trying to use up older lipsticks and glosses. I have the habit of buying backups especially on LE items. I really need to use up eye primers, you know how with UD palettes sometimes a mini primer comes with it. I ended with a ton that'll that me forever to use up. I am trying to use up the Sin eyeshadow. Sin was on so many palettes I have 4 not counting the one in Naked palette. Trying to use up the older ones first.
The Josie Maran powder is very good, it has argan oil. What I'm currently using is Clarins' Ever Matte in 01 transparent light, it'a very good as well ;)
I have a recommendation for gel liners. Clinique pot liners never dry out in me! They're still nice and creamy after I've had them for 2 yrs or more. Love your unique videos. And you look gorgeous :)
You inspired my current Project 10 Pan!! :) I extended it onto nail polishes & titled it Project 10 Polish which are currently Fall polish shades I would like to use up before the end of the year. You look so gorgeous in this video
Love your videos!!! I have also been trying to pull out some of my products in my collection vs. buying something new since it will expire at some point.
I think I always have a 10 pan going, lol. I have my regular makeup storage which are products I always reach for and then sample sizes and things I dont reach for end up in a pretty box on my table top. That way I always remember to use them up.
I have two Chi Chi lipsticks, they're very pigmented! I've been pulling out lipsticks, mainly, and trying to make final decisions on what stays and what goes. The toughest part is tossing older limited editions that I loved! But, they had to go! I did those first just to get it over with! lol
Ysl makes an amazing gel liner! Maybelline makes a great drug store version of an awesome gel liner! I'm biased to Bobbi Browns because it's my holy grail liner, it's amazing!!!😍😍😍
Hi Christine, lovely nail color, I am thinking of purchasing Adriana. So sad that Zoya is hard to find where I live and it costs more than 10 dollars a bottle depending on the collection.
My favorite powder is the Bare Minerals READY Touch Up Veil (which I apply with a Forever Puff). That combo is now my holy grail for powdering. I have insanely oily skin and this works to mattify beautifully without looking cakey or powdery.
I know the feeling of loving something so much you might be sad when it's gone but maybe if you take a photo of the item you can save for reference later (hope that makes sense) also eventually you' ll have space for other special jems in your tiny collection :)
I'm doing a five pan. I'm on a low buy all the time rather than a no-buy :) I have a lot I need to use up, it's just that wearing makeup isn't my top concern. My twins are two months old so I don't get out much!
I love your videos! The project pan, declutter, and DIY ones are my favorite.
Christine, the beautiful combination of your up-do with the whispy hair framing your face and the draped shirts makes you look just like one of those classic greek/roman statues. Gorgeous!
I just love your videos, especially the decluttering ones such as this one. Makes me want to streamline my makeup as well. "i'm not sure if it's...as they claim" haha, great video, I love project 10 pan and it makes sense to focus on things that might expire. I try use up cream products as well though I do have a cream blush problem...
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when you do videos like this... they are such an inspiration to work on having less.
Its cool how you purge every once and a while donating or giving away items that might just go bad otherwise; the progress over the years is mind blowing.
Your hair and make up have never looked so great. I'd love a cheeky quick tutorial!! Thanks for a great vid xx
Try the gel liner from Essence - it is awesome, and doesn't cost a lot!
I second the Essence liner. It's like $4 and love it!
***** yeeeeeeeeeeeesss!
Thanks for the tip! xoxo
I so LOVE this concept. I'm going to do this sometime this week. I recently finished a foundation in a summer shade & it felt good. I'm almost done with another one in a summer shade. i really need to do this!!! just commit to using them everyday so i am not wasting product :-) thanks for the reminder christine! ily xoxo
I know right?! It's so tough to commit, but feels so good to hit some pans once in awhile, haha! :D Love you girl! xoxo
It's really rewarding! You really get to know what products you love, and which ones you hate!
This is a great idea! I may try this in October. Have a safe trip!

Plus, I love watching your videos. Especially the ones dealing with decluttering makeup or using something up :) Xo
I have never experienced white spots or sweating lippies. Good to know! Good for you on focusing using things up. ♥ Elle
Good thing!! Luckily it's only happened to me on a couple of occasions. Possibly the heat and humidity tends to speed up that process. Hey, I just ran into a friend who works at Macy's here, she said she loves your channel! :D
pinksofoxy Wow, it is a small world! That is so sweet of you to let me know that. Thank you Christine :-)
Lucky for you @Elle is For Living. I had a MAC Viva Glam lip pie get those fuzzy white spots on it. (I have heard that the Viva Glams do this often.) So sad. -Terese
Your smile is changing!!! 😃. You look great! ❤️ Cindy
You chose some great makeup items! I'm doing a Project Pan too! I love all of your declutter and project pan videos. You always do so amazing!
Gorgeous as always but your hair up like this is stunning!!!
This came at a perfect time because I'm currently doing a Project Pan(video is on my channel) and I'm starting to feel discouraged. Thanks for putting me in a better mood. Also, good luck on your Project Pan, can't wait to see your progress and updates. :)
i love how you are simplifying your makeup collection, such an inspiration, unlike some of the other makeup gluttons on youtube!!
Your hair looks so pretty today! I'm loving the updo. I'm also trying to use up my mascara samples and my older lip products. I moved this year and had to go through all my makeup, I'm working on using up my oldest stuff before buying anything new. Keep up project 10 pan please, I love the concept.
I am starting a 10-pan in october, and you are one of my biggest inspirations!
Thx for the new vid. Love the updo. Just did a med pan. All Nars. Had to get ride of all that sticky packaging. Love it!
I was just thinking about how much I missed seeing these videos on RUclips and then yours popped up in my subscription box! :) You read my mind!
I'm doing a Project 10 Pan too.
I love the products you've chosen!
Seeing your Chanel bronzer makes me miss mine so much! I used mine up in I believe less than year of owning it so I know you can use yours, too! Christine, just gotta say, you look really gorgeous in this video. Hair, make up, outfit, you nailed it!!
The Too Faced mascara came in my recent Holiday Collection and it flaked on me really bad so I had to toss it. My Holy Grail right now is my Urban Decay Perversion. I also love the UD Perversion! Such a nice wand and no clumping. Love it!
I am also liking UD Perversion too love the wand on it
The becca powder is great! Also cover fx makes a good one!
For some reason I tend to not use my expensive (pricey) products. I let them sit and go old almost like I'm saving them for something, but not sure what? Yet my cheaper economical priced products I blow right thru them. LOL
haha I do this too! So funny. Glad I'm not the only one. 8)
I do the same thing!
Good to know ladies, I thought I was the only one to hoard back my pricey items.. lol
A problem shared is a problem halved ;)
I treasure them but apparently too much. They would be more cost effective as used cosmetics rather than vanity ornaments.
No Project Pan but I decluttered my lip products which felt good. I bought 2 LE Wet n Wild 5 pans today and just decided that can be my Holiday make up purchase. could you please do a hair tutorial on this look, ? :D i love it xoxo
Thank you for all of your inspiring videos! Already downsized my collection and now im gonna start with this so i can use up some makeup :)
First off I LOVE how you did your hair and that nail color is amazing! I'm definitely a "tartelette"lol I use almost all Tarte products. I've tried the full coverage liquid foundation but I didn't really care for it because it felt too heavy on my skin especially here in HI. I also like their park avenue princess matte bronzer.
I love the Nars light reflecting powder, or the Revlon Nearly Naked powder. It's so silky for a drugstore powder in my opinion and goes on beautifully
I did something similar to this as well! But I always find myself forgetting to use those particular products lol..it's bad. But this is def an encouragement to hop back to it! xx
Try putting those items in a makeup bag or bin and keep that in sight so it helps you remember
I know right?! I agree with GianlnJersey, I've found it's quite a bit easier if those particular products are placed all together in a container and kept out where you can see them every morning. I struggled with my last project 10 pan, But since I started doing it this way, the products are getting used up noticeably faster. xoxo
I actually do have them sitting in a cute box..but I guess I need to put them somewhere more in sight. Thank you lovely xx
You look beautiful! Your uploads have fast become my first watches. I love that you beat to your own drummer and share your creative life with us!
Hi Christine, right I am going to look at my collection (which consists of like half a small drawer!) and add to it!! I have made my decision!! LOL thanks for sharing, You are awesome, beautiful in and out! x x x
Christine, you are absolutely stunning!! Of course you always look beautiful, but this hair/makeup/outfit combination in this video is incredible. :)
Love a lot of those choices - the mauve lipstick at the end looks especially fun.
ooo good idea..I might do this
Def using up product here Christine! btw...especially love your nail color today...xo patti
Thanks Patti! I'm wearing Zoya PixieDust in Adriana. xoxo
:)
Love your channel. Your backgrounds are soothing.
I love your videos and i miss some of your organizer DIY.
Can't wait for your update on this!
My favorite gel liner is the one of makeupgeek in brown it is called mobster and in black it is immortal. I love them both!
I did similar at the weekend but with perfumes, got to make way for new ones .
Thanks for another inspiring video.....i will pull some products out and use some up...well give it a good effort anyway :)
Love that you did something else rather than a favourite vid :) Never seen a video like this, and I really enjoyed watching it! :) Xo
You are so awesome!!!!!!!! I check back everyday to see if you have any videos uploaded
I love this idea but have a question. When you pick your ten, do you only use those until they're gone?
I love your hair like that!
XOXO
I'm always saying I will do a project 10 pan, then I see new lipsticks and I just can't resist purchasing them x
Try the Laura Mercier gel liner in Noir! It's so beautiful and does notttttt dry out. It replaced my
MAC fluid line and is my HG now :)
Too Faced Primed and Poreless powder. Either loose or compact. Love it!
When you finish up the gel liner try the maybeline eye studio gel liner. It is inexpensive and really the best one I have found. Way better than Mac.

Love your videos!!! I have also been trying to pull out some of my products in my collection vs. buying something new since it will expire at some point.
You look beautiful Christine! another great video! xoxo Lori
Clinique makes really nice powders.
I think I always have a 10 pan going, lol. I have my regular makeup storage which are products I always reach for and then sample sizes and things I dont reach for end up in a pretty box on my table top. That way I always remember to use them up.

Ysl makes an amazing gel liner! Maybelline makes a great drug store version of an awesome gel liner! I'm biased to Bobbi Browns because it's my holy grail liner, it's amazing!!!😍😍😍
Ditto to the Maybelline - awesome, cost effective and actually black. Mac's Fluidline is gray in comparison.
Thanks for sharing.... have a safe trip!
I was also gonna start a project pan soon! I can't wait! My goal is to use up all of them before 2015 too! =D
Hi Christine, lovely nail color, I am thinking of purchasing Adriana. So sad that Zoya is hard to find where I live and it costs more than 10 dollars a bottle depending on the collection.
You look so elegant in this video. Great motivation to keep using up before purchasing more. You keep me on the straight and narrow.
You look awesome with hair up! You should do that more often! The make up was great too! Love it
My favorite powder is the Bare Minerals READY Touch Up Veil (which I apply with a Forever Puff). That combo is now my holy grail for powdering. I have insanely oily skin and this works to mattify beautifully without looking cakey or powdery.
Your make-up is very pretty in this video! I really have to do a project like this.
My favorite powder is definitely Shiseido Pureness Compact Oil-free foundation. It works the most for me, one of a kind.
I know the feeling of loving something so much you might be sad when it's gone but maybe if you take a photo of the item you can save for reference later (hope that makes sense) also eventually you' ll have space for other special jems in your tiny collection :)
I need to do this! Great video!
I really recommend Inglot gel eyeliner in #77. It's. Great and creamy. I think you will enjoy it!
If you're looking for a drugstore powder I recommend the rimmel stay matte powder. It's my favorite and have re-bought it multiple times
Hi! I love smashbox gel liners and too faced pore less pressed powder!
like the products you shared. Love your hair darker like that, your features stand out more.
I'm doing a five pan. I'm on a low buy all the time rather than a no-buy :) I have a lot I need to use up, it's just that wearing makeup isn't my top concern. My twins are two months old so I don't get out much!
