This man will live to be 105 years old.
It's the reason they call it the "sober therapy". I've been doing this almost every day for the last 30 odd years. I'm a swimmer and cold water is part of my daily routine. Helps me to concentrate and millions of other things.
Helps lower blood pressure and depression
It's a 100% dopamine surge
Smart man...that is actually good for you...
Yeah he looks like the model of health. You’re so right
My body would probably go into shock and I'll end up having some sort of medical episode.
My bones hurt as I'm watching it
CONGRATULATIONS on you doing what's best for your mental health ❤
Hey, whatever works , man 😊!!
he was a penguin in his past life
It's therapy for him supposedly
that's just crazy, I repaired water lines for a living in cold, too, it wasn't much of a living either. but for the plunge, I always told the new people starting, it's not so bad when you go in, the hard part was when you come out 🤣. that guys insane🥶
When you find out Melissa Estrada jumps in frost 😂
I am Melissa Estrada
That definitely looks cold and frozen
Dr. Andrew Huberman would be proud 😅
Fascinating
They have cold tub like a hot tub and a freeze machine like a sun tan bed
Got to give it up for the agility.
Somebody needs to do a story on win hoff The Iceman, he's helped tons of people
Wim Hof* And, yeah, that guy is incredible.
Isn't this bad for the human body? I guess him getting bundled up right away prevents him from getting hypothermia.
Exactly the opposite. Cold water therapy is the best thing you can do for your body. Hypothermia is when your core cannot naturally heat up. Taking a cold plunge increases your body heat so you're naturally more warm throughout the day.
I do this almost every day. It is the best thing for the body and mind. The only rules are, don't think about it, just do it. Don't touch the water before hand, it has to shock you. Don't stay in too long. In weather like this, at least 25 seconds+, but no more than 3 minutes.
This is so lovely.
He got to be kiding he is nuts
Thats to cold
no Alzheimer's for him 😊
I’ll do it for 1 million dollars.
I know it's not the same as an ice plunge. but at the end of every shower I slowly fade away the warm water until I am just standing in a cold shower and there is something about it that makes my aches and pains go away and my muscles feel better.
Chicago man takes cold plunge into Lake Michigan during cold freeze 🥶
That mf is crazy.
news reporters seem to have an overbearing presence in their interviews... all about me is a terrible culture
Whoa! 🧊 icy thrill!
He’s the man
Why is this news? I live in Sweden and know many people who do this all year. Most coastal cities have open-air bath houses open to the public that are frequently visited all year by friends, families and is particularly popular among the elderly. This seems pretty mundane.
A toasty sauna outside of a cold lake at lake Bodom VS diving into frozen water with no sauna after. Do they frequently dive into frozen lakes? Thanks in advance for any reply. Cheers.
@@DevouredByADream Usung a sanua is more common but there are also many people doing it without. Many cities have social groups that saw ice pools and swim together.
@@interactingarts I think in USA it is uncommon maybe. Most people don't like cold and especially cold water to submerge their bodies in...despite the health benefits if done safely.
I agree with your statement, but these are 'Mericans. Heh. no Jokes aside, I think it is because America has a "big freeze" going on at the moment.
He's out of his fuckig mind
It's proven to be one of the most amazing mental and physical benefits for our bodies. It comes from how we evolved. Look up win Hoff in the millions of people he's helped
Polar bear. You should go on tour!
He has to be a air zodiac sign
He is searching for those glocks
😂
Now Next time you jump in stay in the water and don’t come out😉
all righty negative Nancy go take a walk
