Hey Nasir! Your thoughts on therapy really really resonated with me man. I was just wondering if you could share which service you used? It's so hard finding a good therapist and I think that would really help.
Nasir is really refreshing to listen to, especially about his content strategy. I think it's extremely difficult to put out a video that you know will do "bad", but I love his approach that he just wants to provide value to his viewers
I remember 2020 when I wanted to invest in bitcoin my friends kept discouraging me but I started investing without their knowledge. Today I'm doing extremely well financially. wouldn't be where I am to If I allowed them to stop me.
Money is an issue that everyone has for a better and luxurious life. Life was hard for me until I started making profits on my investment with the help of Mrs Jane
This was very refreshing to listen to as a part-time content creator myself who is always burning out to keep up with all the commitments I've set for myself. Thank you so much Ali & Nasir!
I find his humility and willingness to admit that he was wrong about the “hustle productivity” mindset REALLY refreshing! 🙏 Thank you for being honest!
Guys this was an awesome conversation. As someone trying to build a RUclips channel too (though of a very different sort) and a full-time student (Physics) there was so many points here that resonated with me. Everything from how not to take the fun out of the RUclips thing, to not obsessing over to-do lists when you feel you’re juggling so many things; it’s so cool to hear my own thoughts echoed by similar people (makes me think I’m doing the right thing) and also to get so many new ideas! The therapy thing in particular! Thank you both 🙏🏼
OH MY GOD 😱 You both are my fav med youtubers. As a first year med student, you guys have helped me through many things since the admission preparation!!!!
I love this Nasim Kharma doing his RUclips for helping others to get into Med School. I was an Algebra-1 teacher in West Los Angeles's S.M. White Middle School. I was an Emergency Math teacher with over 20 college credits(actually 24). No one told me I could Retest any quiz or Unit Test as all CA teachers can do but don't get paid for 6-8 hours after school to re-grade 175 students. My 1st and 2nd semesters were disastrous. My 3rd to 8th semesters children improved every semester. My other 3 Algebra teachers told me no 8th grade child could or would earn an A or B. I proved them wrong. I had 9 kids with As by Christmas. By June I had students with 19 As, 34 Bs, and ONLY 5 Fs. Now I'll teach Algebra-1 online for 420,000 new 8th Graders every year in CA. Many Thanks for discussing your "hobby". ))
This dynamic duo is top-notch, nothing can beat this! Thanks, Ali! Your videos are always engaging and informative, thanks so much for this podcast. Nasir's outfit is everything.
Those who are successful don't become that way suddenly. Everything most people perceive at first glance- wealth, a successful profession, and a sense of purpose-is the consequence of persistent slog and hustle if you think about it.
@Stetham F Riggs I'm enjoying working under a platform that brings good return in my life and I've been making my weekly returns without stress all in crypt0currency
@Stetham F Riggs I will personally introduce you to my account manager Mrs Gabriella S. Taylor of UCLA Anders0n financial Institute, her trading meth0ds are working f0r me.
I must say, Ali, I love the way you lead the podcasts. You don't ask questions because they would be a standard question to ask but because it's something you are interested to know or something you know we are interested to know qnd I love that. It feels very personal even though you're doing it in a formal way. Can't believe I didn't heard your podcast before even though I've been following your channel for months.
I love those channels. My motivation to keep going in my studies stem from those two guys amazing podcast as always! filled with value nice!! :) keep going Ali!
He's so self aware, I love how he has stayed true to himself He helped me get better at studying and also motivated me to start my channel Feels good to know him on a deeper level♥️
This is such an incredible conversation to listen in on. As a med student myself, I feel like I can relate to so many of the things Nasir says!! Thank you both so much :))
Hey Ali! This is great video the unique thing I love that is the way you ask question every part of this podcast is soooo meaningful. Thanks for creating such amazing video . I also recently started my channel I learnt a lot from this podcast. ❤
Fantastic episode. On a side note, i prefer your "normal" voice, the one on vlogs and intros, than this ultra low Megatron podcaster voice. On headphones it resonates alot, it feels unatural, or like Elizabeth Holmes deep
Hi! First year med student here. Just wanted to come in and say that the concept of perfectionism really resonates with me. I’m a nontraditional (older and single parent) student. When I got into school, I said the same thing “I want to help others get here too.” As I’ve started creating videos, each one gets a little better, with a little less work as I try to embrace publishing the content over trying to master editing. Medicine is a special place to be. Thank you for sharing with us 🥰
I’m so happy to see NASIR taking the time out to talk about therapy and mental health. It’s the bare minimum and there is a major stigma on it but happy to see it nonetheless.
Hey Ali, I just wanted to say that your videos are amazing. I have one small point to let you know about, which is a bit irritating and this is the fact that in most of your talk and discussion videos there is this reflection on your glasses. If you have the opportunity it would be great to fix this very small detail. Have a great day!
The only point of disagreement I have is that hard work alone is not enough. Society is such that it will rub privilege in your face and some form of access to resources and social capital is the need of the hour.
'dealing w/ time manangement'- if youre interested in this 'hustle mindset' i would direct you to matt d'evlias new video 'everything wrong w/ productivity' he interviews the author of the book 'effortless' and emphasises the importance and value of consistentcy over the go go go mindset
Interesting conversation although I don’t quite follow Ali’s notion about not following the Protestant work ethic and working hard. It’s easy for him to say this now that he has a team of staff working for him and doing everything for him and yes it must be easier to put in less hours. But Ali was only able to have these things because of the number of hours he put in at the start. I remember hearing a vlog with Sheen where she said Ali had been sat at his desk from the morning until 11 pm at night and hadn’t even moved from his desk. I think you ought to be more transparent about this aspect of ‘hard work’ otherwise people will believe that they don’t need to work hard to make it which is not realistic and not the case at all. I think a lot of it has to do with working hard doing the right things.
Exactly right!!! although I loved this interview, in parts I felt Ali was trying to make Kharma medic lose interest in medicine like the way he did 😄, like what did he mean by saying "what's the point" when Nasser said I am goal oriented and I want to upload every Thursday or his goal about million subscribers 🙄, it's called passion Ali which you seem to have lost 🙄
I like Ali and have not finished the whole interview, but I wonder if Ali's brother had done the interview would it provide a bit of a different perspective
I would never go to a narcissistic doctor. They don’t listen to patients. Instead of focusing on social media you should focus on medicine. I’m sure I’m sure there will be many people coming to his defense on how this strategy helps them understand better understand etc. etc. that’s what makes it even more sad.
I hope this boosts my application to be your future wifey 💍
Seriously though great chat and we’ll have you on the KharmaKast soon! 🎙
Alexia keep an eye out on this man! Nasir and Ali are the best duo out there!

The way that Ali looked deep into Nasir’s eyes at 42:44…. I think this might the beginning of a beautiful friendship

Okay, Nasir's voice is fucking deep in this podcast…
I’m so happy to see NASIR taking the time out to talk about therapy and mental health. It’s the bare minimum and there is a major stigma on it but happy to see it nonetheless.

Qualitative feedback was exponential, the quantitative feedback was very slow 📝

It's kind of strange listening to naseers experience. It's like listening to a story of a robot becoming human. Interesting.
Is he gonna also quit as a future Dr?
