    I agree with you on the recommendation of the 21L vs the 25L. I just got my Northseeker 21L and I find the water bottle pocket just a tad snug for my water bottle which is 24oz/ 3in diameter. It still fits, just really snug. On the other hand, I guess it's less likely to fall out unexpectedly! Very happy with my purchase. Even got the random knick knacks - they are superb for their price.

    I might actually still crave the 20L version honestly -- I don't carry a laptop these days, tend to keep my water bottles on the smaller side (my Nalgene 400ml bottle fits this pack's side pockets perfectly), and pack light, so I don't know that I need the extra 5 liters. If I get a laptop any time in the future maybe I can justify a large-size Rainmaker

    Klint, you recall the $9 bag from Amazon that you reviewed about a year ago? It had a blue interior and a lot of interior pockets. Anyway, it had the front admin side just like this one…on the front flap. At the time, you were amazed that they would put the admin panel on the front flap instead of on the interior “side.” I bought that $9 bag and love it for travel. But I’ve noticed a lot more of the companies placing the admin panel on the front fold down flap. Makes you go “hmmm”!

    Nowadays, a 20-liter bag is considered large, and even a 15-liter one is sizable. It seems most buyers are interested in bags that are 15 liters or smaller, like the Alpaka Metro or Able Carry 13-liter. This trend is likely because devices are becoming more compact. While there are many options available in the 20-liter size, smaller bags of 15 liters and less are fewer but are capturing a significant market share.

    Hi Clint.. Nice comparison video between the Northseeker 20 & 25L. 👍🏻😊 Most probably I go for the 25L EPX400 under the wild card customization. 🤩 A query regarding the bookpouch I would like to check with you... I also watch your video on the 20L Grey Northseeker and the bookpouch.. What is the size of the bookpouch? Can the whole bookpouch fit into the admin section that have many organization pockets at the front with the top access zippers?🤔🧐 Cuz I would like my electronics gadgets and devices to be hold separately from the main compartment pack with clothes and whatever I need but I don't want it to be seen...🤗🤫 the top quick access zippers to the main compartment I would most probably convert it to the sunglass compartment via the wild card customization options. 😂😎

    Hey Klint. I keep going back and forth trying to figure out whether to get the 20L or 25L of this bag. After looking at a lot of different reviews, it seems that the Bookpouch eats into the 20L main compartment quite a lot. I am starting to lean towards the 25L. But I'm a pretty short guy, and I'm worried it'd look too boxy/awkward on my back given how far out the profile protrudes. I saw that the Wildcard edition has compression strap add-ons, but I'm not sure I want the zippers obstructed all the time. I wondered if there's any slack to it when it's not fully packed out, so it doesn't look as big. I don't remember if I mentioned in a previous comment, but this would mostly be for EDC, though I'd also use it as a carry-on for long trips and a travel bag for short-term trips. The larger capacity would help extend its use case, but I don't want it to get in the way of its main purpose as an EDC.
    I'd appreciate to hear your thoughts. I want to take my time ordering, since I hope to make this my last bag purchase for awhile, and there's so much to take into consideration. This could be the bag to end all bags for me, knowing GR136's quality.

    Oh man - the 25L bag looks perfect for me in every way... except that laptop access. I would definitely have preferred something separate from the main compartment with its own pocket.
    How do you find the access with the bookbag? Do you have to take it out, unzip the bookbag, get your device, and slip back in, or is there an easier way to do it more quickly as if there were a separate compartment?

      @@ThePerfectBag I had a backpack with a side access pocket. Issue was, if I didn't zip it 100% up, the zipper would slowly fall down. On my way to the airport in an Uber, my laptop and tablet fell out and I didn't realize it til I got through TSA. The Uber driver was awesome and came back to give me my laptop/tablet. So, I purchased the AER City Pack Pro since it has a top access laptop compartment. I really like the bag but the plastic ladders that the straps go through dig into my ribs so I need to keep the bag lower on my back than I'd like. Otherwise, it's a great backpack for my needs. • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  Год назад +2

      I’ve used both extensively. The Whitley feels more formal. The Northseeker feels more fun. How can I explain this? The Whitley is precise, it’s exact. It’s a great bomber jacket with all the details just right and it fits you perfectly. The Northseeker is a big hoodie. So…The Whitley is probably better and nicer, but I like the Northseeker a lot more. It’s roomier, more fun, and less directive in how to use each pocket and area.

    For the 20L, does a camelbak chute 20oz fit into the side pockets? 24 x 9.5 x 7 cm. It might be a close call.Last night i remember seeing someone (forgot if it was you) struggling to fit a similar camelbak bottle in, but theirs ( 750ml according to them) converts to 25oz so ours might be a bit different.
