I don’t know what I’d do in that situation matter fact the water around me would change in a mix of brown and yellow. I’d just cry because I know I’m bouta die
there was a video i saw many years ago. It was a dj with a stadium, that has a large robotic sun with a human face that opens and close it's mouth, while it's eyes move left to right at a slow pace. it was at that moment i realized i have a phobia, because seeing that kept giving me this uneasiness, sense of dread. top it off with mild thalassophobia, thats a recipe for heart attack.
I remember watching this movie for the first time, being so surprised on how big the beast was. Now that I have figured out I have both of these phobias. I was terrified.
Films need to have more shots like this and use thalassophobia more, honestly I was fine with the ocean until I watched jaws and any shot of the shark from Birds Eye view is terrifying, I went to Canada once and did some whale watching and honestly it was the most adrenaline fuelled thing I’ve ever done and my parents and brother was taking the piss out of me but like how can I feel calm in the middle of the ocean where I can’t see the bottom and there’s a couple humpbacks reaching lengths of 17 metres underneath
I am aware of thalassophobia, but am I really the only one who watched the movie and even the first time i saw this scene i was not scared, but descended on me a sense of peace? People? Anyone else?
That is... actually kind of scarier in a way lol. At least, depending on how you mean that. I read a creepypasta not that long ago about a diver telling a story about a student in a group of people he was training who had basically the opposite reaction to thalassophobia - the diver called it a "hunger" for the deep or some shit like that. Basically, this kid was floating on the surface, looking through his mask at the deep abyss beneath him, only he didn't look scared or anxious or anything. He looked...elated. And then before the instructor can stop him, the kid just starts diving. At one point the instructor does manage to get a hand on the kid's ankle but he kicks free and looks back for a second and just has this insanely creepy smile on their face, then keeps on diving. Supposedly the kid died. To be clear, while I enjoy creepypastas I lot, I never actually put any stock in them and assume that the vast majority of them I read are just fiction. It's just the fact that you said what you said in your comment... idk, kinda creepy lol.
@@magicscreenman kinda understandable, lol, don't worry. Although i think that even in that case i would never ever dive into, or towards the monster XD it's just... alluring to me, but just watching, thank you very much 😂😂 I can't even explain why it does put me in a sense of peace in the first place 🤣🤷🏽♀️
Isn't this scophioba the fear of being watched? Because this is just unsettling so I have that all 3of these phobias because at night the water is creepy and second megalophobia the sea is 5% known also subacpbia I'm how to spell it sadly but its where you have the fear of media under water and they are just creepy now finally for scophobia I had this dream about this man would would just stare at me I called him Burt idk why I would even name a dream demon in the first place but whenever I dream about Burt he gets closer...😦😧😨😰😱
Thanks netflix, I was searching for a reason to stay awake tonight.
😂😂😂
Lmao I love how it just sorta backs away like “…you ain’t seen shit…”
lmaoo
😂 now I just find it funny
“Get in the water dude it’ll be fun!!”
The fucking water:
Can’t forget the brain eating ameba 😀
You cant tell me this wasn’t intentional, knowing that thalassophobia is a thing, they knew how to create a haunting image here.
Worst nightmare 😖😱
what is really scary is you can't see her anymore but she still can see you
"You got games on your phone?"
Being attacked by a giant creature is scary, but being stared at by a giant creature is fucking terrifying
I don’t know what I’d do in that situation matter fact the water around me would change in a mix of brown and yellow. I’d just cry because I know I’m bouta die
That might save you. The beast may not want to eat you at that point. 😂
Luckily this beast is nice lol just scary 😂
New fear fear unlocked
This was horrifying to watch in the middle of the day with my kids. I was the only one bothered by it.
Me too it's 10 am and that has just made my stomach sink
let your kids play subnautica
ps, tell them to go to the back of the big ship after it explodes, it has so many resources
the horn sound fills me with dread
"It seems I am interrupting something......"
This music makes it so intense! But I’m all set .thank you but no thank you
“Hehe…I’m in danger”
The fact that it was just sitting there staring at you…🥴😭😭😖
Id be more comforted in a way, if it seemed to just back off. But still nervous af if its just relocating lol
My heart was in my ass just watching it
The way it disappears is the part that gets me quaking.
“You didn’t see anything”
" just wanted to let you know I could of had you."
I almost got a heart attack
THAT IS TERRIFYING
How, this cartoon is too scary LIKE THAT, childrens probably cried on this
Dissappears like *excuse me, humans*

Oh naaaaah, that creature is too big to be giving off that heavy 'I ain't gone tell you again!' vibe??
If you want something better, play Subnautica (and/or Subnautica Below Zero)
I think the least realistic thing about this is that the two humans didn't start sinking from the weight of all the bricks they just shit.
