Butte County fire is because some idiot pushed his burning car into a gully. A fire in the Santa Cruz mountains was possibly powerlines. A fire in lake county was some idiot mowing dry grass in the middle of the day. Sooo, very far from spontaneous

Not spontaneous. If there's no lightning storms (as in the case of Sunol), then human activity (intentional or not) is the only possible cause.
