I have little to no experience with wood. I think I made a picture frame with popsicle sticks once or twice. But I LOVE watching your videos. The bench is gorgeous and I wish I had a porch to put it on. You inspire me to make and I wish I could make it to the UK to participate in your Maker Central get together. There is a HUGE maker community in the DFW Metroplex (that's Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area to us locals), but there aren't a whole lot of big events or maker fairs. I'll find one eventually. Meanwhile, keep making funky things.

That's an awesome bench. I also like to not use stains. I prefer the natural wood colour.

Great. I’ve seen that burning technique before and I’ve even seen people do inlays in if but the way that mother of Pearl sparkles it really makes it look like lightning. Really cool 😎
