I use Taliah waajid on my hair. That oil smells so good, it has a light fruity scent, feels great on the scalp and softens hair. You should try their stimulating herbal cleanser ( clarifying pre-shampoo that helps with itchy scalp ... meant to be used once a month) then use their total body black earth shampoo (can be used weekly )followed by their enhancing conditioner ( that product is a conditioner , deep conditioner, co wash and leave in) on your locs. :). Plus their protective mist bodifier, but I would recommend the 'Therapeutic formula' version as that one gives a tingling sensation on the scalp......Taliah Waajid all the way...... EDIT: Oiling your scalp once or twice a week is perfect if you oil it everyday your hair will become too oily and it will start dripping down your face and neck......lol.
haha I could tell how much you love their products! When I first started to Loc up, I used to use their leave in conditioner. It smelt so heavenly! I am glad that you agree that oiling 1-2 times a week is perfect. Thank you for watching!❤️
I've been using Taliah waajid (Lock it up) since I've been loc'd. Just started using her shampoo. Now I just found out about her hair oil. Thank you ‼️
Lovely to see you so happy. I so wanted to love this but I just didn’t take to the fragrance. I have a sensitive scalp and am finding sweet almond oil suits me. I’ve just started my loc journey (I’m a lot older than you 💚 but better late than never) and feel I’ve loads to learn. Been watching many channels - Yannie is fab. Nice to hear a Brit voice xx
I appreciate this comment because i use sweet almond, or a little aunt jackies for girls oil. I think you already answered my Q about the talia oyl ! Lol
Thanks for the product recommendation. Have you used the Africa's best herbal oil? If so, how was that for your scalp (it looks quite similar to this oil in colour). I'll compare the ingredients x
Hi. I’m not sure. If it’s unavailable via the amazon link in my description section, do a Google search to see where it’d be available in your country❤️
I suffer with the seb derm especially worse when im eating cheese and meat lmao. When i go vegan for a month its just like.. A little dry small flakes not like proper seb dermy. I cant really 'oil' my scalp per se, similar to what you said. the way other people with locs do so I'm glad for this video... I might give it a go hope it doesnt smell too strong like the other commenter said x also can i ask does it stain /get all over the place wherever you put your head?
Hey hun! So like you said, I’ve noticed that diet plays a big part with Seb Dem. It does have a smell, however it doesn’t stain. I recently did an updated video, as I no longer use it (for now). I started using another Oil called “Roots” by planted. It works so well, but guess what? The company have now closed down😭😭😭😭
@@Winis_World thanks for getting back to me! Yeah honestly but its so hard to maintain because i get bored and go back to some chicken and pizza and stuff 😂 atm i literally use sweet almond, aloe to retwist, water and sometimes rosewater after trying soo many natural oils etc because my scalp really doesnt care what it is, it doesnt like anything! Its harder to find some products in the UK as well isnt it! Oh no!! Hate when that happens 😣 i will find the video
Exactly! It’s so hard finding products here, so I was so happy to have found Roots oil, and then they closed down😫 I get what you mean about being bored. I’m Pescatarian, but i often eat plant based because I’m intolerant. If I binge out on too much junk food, it definitely reflected on my scalp. I think I mention some of the ingredients in the Roots, oil. Maybe create your own mix and see how it goes? That’s what I plan on doing when my current one runs out. @@Winis_World i feel you honestly! I was pescetarian for years but when i got pregnant with my daughter the chicken and mutton cravings kicked in 😂😂 shes 3 now and ive been pesci veggie vegan meat in rotation its getting silly. But trying to do better because of locs, i need to control my scalp issue better. Not a dairy lover just the cheese gets me sometimes. Ive subscribed👍🏽😊 ive never typed on youtube so much 😂 I did make a nice blend of natural oils once my hair liked it but my scalp didnt x sometimes i literally just wet it with cooled boiled water and spritz with tea tree /lavender or orange oil because im at a loss with it. I just watched your other video "if its not broken dont fix it" i might take heed to that msg 😂👍🏽
@@Winis_World i just looked at the ingredient list!! I'd love to get my hands on some. I have some of them in my house but some are new on me xx thank you! 👍🏽❤️
Glad this is working for you. If I may ask, other than the oil(to moisturise your scalp) do you use something else on your locs to help retain moisture?
I had dry hair & scalp and this product eliminated the dryness and flakes 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. I’m thankful.
Aww I’m happy to hear this!
I just bought this stuff. Been hearing a lot about it. Just been delivered to my home today.
Let me know how you find it!☺️
I love that oil, I also do hot oil treatments with it and it makes my locs look so nice!
I can't wait to start doing hot oil treatments with it!❤️
I'm going to try to as a hot oil treatment..thanks 👍😊

@@Winis_World :))) You're welcome...I heard their protective styles line is good on dreadlocks. The growth oil from that line is very good....

I use rosewater with vitamin e oil to spritz my locs.
@@Winis_World Appreciate the reply ☀️
No worries!😄
I have the same issues. Does it help with hair growth?
Apparently it does. I can’t remember if I noticed this, when I was using it.
Hey Hun, is this Oyl still incorporated in your routine?
Hey! Nope. This video is old.
@@Winis_World Thanks Sugah 😊
