I was low-key expecting Rosendo Mateu no. 5 to feature somewhere on this list. Giiirrrl, you talked my ear off on that fragrance, so when I recently saw it on a really good deal I jumped in and bought it. And well, let me say it's been hard to put down. I mean 2, 3 days straight I've been wearing that fragrance. So gorgeous and luxe.
#5 layers very well with Vanilla Diorama. This combo is somewhat reminiscent of Babycat without the slight smokiness of Babycat. Also Babycat sits very close to skin whereas the #5 and Vanilla Diorama really projects. If you’ve tried this combo please excuse my long winded remarks.
Hi Sharida! Great list! I have decants of Guidance and I plan to purchase a full bottle when they're finished. I'm so in love & I get compliments every time I wear it. I wore it to a funeral & I noticed someone sitting behind me was wearing Bacaraat Rouge 540. When I tell you they were going toe-to-toe!😂😂 BR 540 held it's own, but I must say it was my girl Guidance for the win.😉
Yes I think Guidance can beat anybody in the ring lol. When I open my perfume cabinet now the entire thing has a faint Guidance smell 😂 like she is yelling at me through the cap top 😂!!!!

I am so miserable that Guidance didn’t work with my skin chemistry. When I sprayed it on, my husband began sniffing the air and asked if I smelled pee.. the audacity 😭 Blanche Bête is my ride or die though

I had a chance to try guidance while on vacation and it literally blew me away! I smelled it on a blotter and it was uneventful but then I sprayed my skin and walked around (it was hot as hell in Cancun) and it was beaming off of my skin without being cloying I am obsessed! IT’s intoxicating. The girls that get it get it! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I went into a Guerlain boutique in Doha, Qatar specifically to smell AN because of you. They sprayed it on paper and i hated it. I must have been effected by the 125* heat since I wound up with cherry oud, which I don’t love but will give another chance in the winter. Fast forward a few weeks and a few more Sharida videos….I’m in NYC and go to the Guerlain counter in Bergdorfs and ask to spray AN on my skin. The sales associate was so lovely and also gave me an AN sample. OMG within minutes I am hearing your voice and the smell on my skin was out of this world. I’ve had a 100 mL of AN for only a few weeks now and has the largest dent in my entire collection. It is my holy grail and if I could only pick one, it would be Angelique Noire. And I have you to thank !!! ❤
Agreed! Shes my fav frag reviewer on YT too! And I had a similar experience with Guerlain on a trip to Selfridges in London. Went to try Spirituese Double Vanille based on Sharida's and my own love of vanilla and it was beautiful but I ended up bringing home Cuir Beluga-could not believe how completely obsessed I was at first spray. Also really liked AN and a few others-but Cuir Beluga had to come home with me as it was so much more affordable in London! When I go back in January I may pick up Tonka Imperial or the new Honey Tobacco that Im itching to get my nose on!

I’m so glad that you had me on the Angelique Noire hype! It actually smells of orange blossom on my skin in the best way. Rida have you experienced Embruns d'Ylang by Guerlain? If not, I highly recommend it. The fragrance is a truly exceptional sweet floral with a powdery iris backbone and a bright citrus and soft sea salt breeze wafting through. Think if H.S.W’s had similar but more refined cousin. With that being said, I can completely see this fragrance being heavy on your rotation this spring, not to mention that it happens to be substantial enough to work in colder weather.

I have always loved a green vanilla. A cold vanilla. Most people don’t get down with that. But I love Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT and I love Atelier Cologne Vanille Insenseé… but the MOMENT I smelled Angelique Noir I was like “throw all my vanillas out, she’s mine”
I adore Scherzo but the many samples I went through from the brand didn't translate for me. I really didn't get anything from them on my skin. I kept hearing you sing about Scherzo and just decided to buy a big bottle during the holidays last year and got the body wash too. I am so glad I did bc I cannot imagine fall without Scherzo! Its simply a masterpiece. I love rose but am very iffy on ouds-esp when combined (cannot do MFK OSM at all!-sold my bottle after trying to force myself to like it). But Scherzo is amazing!
Ok ok ok....I will get a sample from scent split of the Amouage Guidance perfume. Lol. I've been hearing too much about it. I will also get a couple more samples from the line. I was in bloomingdales earlier this summer and saw a huge table display of Amouage fragrances. Because of all the bad reviews I was too scared to even spray it. I was like, "nah, I'm good ". Lol.

I have to check out Blanche Bete..seems to always be sold out on my usual websites. I was able to get a sample of Amouage Guidance...stunning. Need to declutter some fragrances first before picking that up😢

I bought a decant from Etsy of Angelique Noire and I am soooo in love. It was love at first sniff. I definitely will be needing a full bottle. It’s my favorite perfume of all time.
Let me recommend you some scents that were love at first sniff for me: Fugazzi - Sugardaddy (very citrusy and fresh but basically you smell like spicy candy. This was so addictive to me that I emptied a 2,5ml decant in 2 days and immediately bought a full bottle.), Parallax Olfactory - Pome (the smell of plasticine peaches, it is very powdery and a fragrance that feels like a hug and smells like a real peach.), Passeggiata In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by Trussardi (omg this smells like straight up Nutella and it is also crunchy but with the tuberose it is an elegant gourmand) Let me know what you think if you try any of these! 💜

Girl, i'm eating up my words on guidance. I did not quite understand it the first times I smelled it. It did not smell bad but I was very confused by it. I used up 2 of the 3 samples I bought last february and forgot about it. I randomly found the last sample on july and used it and I was BLOWN AWAY. I could not believe my nose and everyone in my household kept complimenting me on it. And 3 days later, my whole cupboard was smelling like guidance because I threw the top I was wearing inside. I immediately ran to Jovoy the same day and bought it.
I just knew my girl was gonna have every single one of these on her holy grail list!! Lol… I will say, the only other one that o was expecting to see and didn’t was Rosendo # 5 👀👀

💯totally agree with you about Angelique Noire. I ADORE SDV, but there is just something absolutely STRIKING about Angelique Noire! It is one of my top 5 for life!!!! And it’s absolutely gorgeous when layered with Terracotta. That was my layering combo all summer long, and it never failed to garner compliments!
Scherzo was an insta-love for me and I got a compliment from my husband, who's really picky about fragrances! Such a beautiful, sweet rose-oud. My most complimented fragrance, though, has to be Xerjoff Erba Pura. There was one day I got 5 compliments on it - everyone from my hairdresser to an SA for another perfume brand, who said she could smell me across the room! I just got a decant of Guidance and need to wear it more. I get a LOT of hazelnut in the opening, which I'm not crazy about, but I do love the dry down, which smells like the lovely poached pears you talk about. Great list, Sharida, am dying to sample Blue Heart and Angelique Noire!

You already know how Guidance was not a love at first sniff for me, and it took more than 7 months of testing before I finally wore it at work, my coworkers really loved it and so over time it became a strong like for me as long as I don’t do more than 2 sprays. It was my most complimented fragrance until I started wearing Bonbon Pop (again, thanks to you) where I consistently get compliments from strangers and I got some of my coworkers to buy their own….I would consider them both on my “holy grail” category. ♥️♥️♥️

Great list you have here Sharida! and I feel like Ive been watching you long enough where I could have guessed what would be on your list. I would have switched out Delina for Blue Heart since its only 5 and Delina gets in hella reps! I feel like I reach Delina so much bc I have a travel size set to carry around with me . Even with overspraying like I do, I still need that fresh blast from whatever I am wearing when Im out and about. My top 5 are Delina/DE, Initio Atomic Rose, Nishane Nefs, Mind Games Caissa, and Xerjoff Erba Pura. I'd also want TT Delox in there but I often feel like its similar to Atomic Rose which has better performance over Delox.
I'm still pretty new to this fragrance channel, having left a difference fragrance channel when I tried some of their recommends over the years and couldn't stand the fragrances on myself. I didn't love Blanche Bête at first... but baby I let her sit for a few weeks and now she's AMAZING!! Although, someone told me that it smells like an elevated Jovan Musk (from back in the day) 😂😂 Side note: I would love to see your makeup routine! So pretty!
Scherzo did not work for me. The opening was an instant love as I’m a fruity lover, however the screechy note (not sure if it’s Oud) just overpowered the fragrance to the point I could not wear it. Such a shame.

I now own 5 Thameen frags and they are all hard workers. Royal Sapphire is my next fav, followed by Patalia. I go back and forth on Peregrina, like you did, but ultimately I love it and will never part with it. I am selling Cullinan Diamond now on my Mercari bc its a bit more masculine than I like so I dont reach for it. But I grabbed it as a BOGO deal knowing I could sell it if I didn't like it. What a fantastic house. I smelled the entire collection last July in Selfridges. The Hope and the Cora are next on my wish list!

I’m so glad that you had me on the Angelique Noire hype! It actually smells of orange blossom on my skin in the best way.
Rida have you experienced Embruns d'Ylang by Guerlain? If not, I highly recommend it. The fragrance is a truly exceptional sweet floral with a powdery iris backbone and a bright citrus and soft sea salt breeze wafting through. Think if H.S.W’s had similar but more refined cousin.
With that being said, I can completely see this fragrance being heavy on your rotation this spring, not to mention that it happens to be substantial enough to work in colder weather.
I have not tried Embruns d'Ylang yet.Will have to make a point to get my nose on it when spring rolls back around.

I have always loved a green vanilla. A cold vanilla. Most people don’t get down with that. But I love Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT and I love Atelier Cologne Vanille Insenseé… but the MOMENT I smelled Angelique Noir I was like “throw all my vanillas out, she’s mine”

I adore Scherzo but the many samples I went through from the brand didn't translate for me. I really didn't get anything from them on my skin. I kept hearing you sing about Scherzo and just decided to buy a big bottle during the holidays last year and got the body wash too. I am so glad I did bc I cannot imagine fall without Scherzo! Its simply a masterpiece. I love rose but am very iffy on ouds-esp when combined (cannot do MFK OSM at all!-sold my bottle after trying to force myself to like it). But Scherzo is amazing!
Scherzo is not for everybody but those who get it GET IT! A masterpiece scent.
Ok ok ok....I will get a sample from scent split of the Amouage Guidance perfume. Lol. I've been hearing too much about it. I will also get a couple more samples from the line. I was in bloomingdales earlier this summer and saw a huge table display of Amouage fragrances. Because of all the bad reviews I was too scared to even spray it. I was like, "nah, I'm good ". Lol.

Hey Sharida! Great video🤗.. My holy grail fragrances include Isra& Miraj by SHL and Sandal Ruby by Carolina Herrera. Both backup bottle worthy. I have to check out Blanche Bete..seems to always be sold out on my usual websites. I was able to get a sample of Amouage Guidance...stunning. Need to declutter some fragrances first before picking that up😢

I bought a decant from Etsy of Angelique Noire and I am soooo in love. It was love at first sniff. I definitely will be needing a full bottle. It’s my favorite perfume of all time.

Let me recommend you some scents that were love at first sniff for me: Fugazzi - Sugardaddy (very citrusy and fresh but basically you smell like spicy candy. This was so addictive to me that I emptied a 2,5ml decant in 2 days and immediately bought a full bottle.), Parallax Olfactory - Pome (the smell of plasticine peaches, it is very powdery and a fragrance that feels like a hug and smells like a real peach.), Passeggiata In Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II by Trussardi (omg this smells like straight up Nutella and it is also crunchy but with the tuberose it is an elegant gourmand) Let me know what you think if you try any of these! 💜

Girl, i'm eating up my words on guidance. I did not quite understand it the first times I smelled it. It did not smell bad but I was very confused by it. I used up 2 of the 3 samples I bought last february and forgot about it. I randomly found the last sample on july and used it and I was BLOWN AWAY. I could not believe my nose and everyone in my household kept complimenting me on it. And 3 days later, my whole cupboard was smelling like guidance because I threw the top I was wearing inside. I immediately ran to Jovoy the same day and bought it.

💯totally agree with you about Angelique Noire. I ADORE SDV, but there is just something absolutely STRIKING about Angelique Noire! It is one of my top 5 for life!!!! And it’s absolutely gorgeous when layered with Terracotta. That was my layering combo all summer long, and it never failed to garner compliments!

Scherzo was an insta-love for me and I got a compliment from my husband, who's really picky about fragrances! Such a beautiful, sweet rose-oud. My most complimented fragrance, though, has to be Xerjoff Erba Pura. There was one day I got 5 compliments on it - everyone from my hairdresser to an SA for another perfume brand, who said she could smell me across the room! I just got a decant of Guidance and need to wear it more. I get a LOT of hazelnut in the opening, which I'm not crazy about, but I do love the dry down, which smells like the lovely poached pears you talk about. Great list, Sharida, am dying to sample Blue Heart and Angelique Noire!
I think you will love them once you try them. Erba Pura is so beautiful on my skin and I hate it for those who’s skin it doesn’t agree with lol!

You already know how Guidance was not a love at first sniff for me, and it took more than 7 months of testing before I finally wore it at work, my coworkers really loved it and so over time it became a strong like for me as long as I don’t do more than 2 sprays. It was my most complimented fragrance until I started wearing Bonbon Pop (again, thanks to you) where I consistently get compliments from strangers and I got some of my coworkers to buy their own….I would consider them both on my “holy grail” category. ♥️♥️♥️

Great list you have here Sharida! and I feel like Ive been watching you long enough where I could have guessed what would be on your list. I would have switched out Delina for Blue Heart since its only 5 and Delina gets in hella reps! I feel like I reach Delina so much bc I have a travel size set to carry around with me . Even with overspraying like I do, I still need that fresh blast from whatever I am wearing when Im out and about.
My top 5 are Delina/DE, Initio Atomic Rose, Nishane Nefs, Mind Games Caissa, and Xerjoff Erba Pura. I'd also want TT Delox in there but I often feel like its similar to Atomic Rose which has better performance over Delox.
I'm still pretty new to this fragrance channel, having left a difference fragrance channel when I tried some of their recommends over the years and couldn't stand the fragrances on myself. I've ordered 3 different samples of perfumes I've heard about on this channel, look forward to trying those out when I receive them ~ I really, *really* hope to find a new fragrance that I love!!❣🙏

Scherzo did not work for me. The opening was an instant love as I’m a fruity lover, however the screechy note (not sure if it’s Oud) just overpowered the fragrance to the point I could not wear it. Such a shame.

I go back and forth on Peregrina, like you did, but ultimately I love it and will never part with it. I am selling Cullinan Diamond now on my Mercari bc its a bit more masculine than I like so I dont reach for it. But I grabbed it as a BOGO deal knowing I could sell it if I didn't like it.
