I dislocated my shoulder and had to spend 4 hours in a hospital. 6'ish weeks later I get a bill for $750. I call the hospital and said you didn't bill this thru my insurance, id like this to go towards my deductible. She says OH! we didnt know you had insurance!. I give my insurance for the 2nd time now. A few weeks later I get a bill for $2500 my responsibility. And they billed the insurance $17,000. No insurance = $750.... with insurance = $17,000.
