I’d like to make one correction. For phalloplasty, muscle is taken from some donor sites but NOT from the forearm. Skin, fat, nerves and vessels are harvested from the forearm and rolled into a tube. Even though muscle isn’t taken from this site, there can still be impairment of function in the hand.

I think it's so powerful that Aaron is publicly calling herself a butch lesbian again. I can completely understand why medicalization helped her feel more secure in the world as a masculine presenting female who loves other females. I'm never mad at the trans identified people who did this for their safety and sense of well-being. I'm mad that instead of trying to open up society to be more tolerant of diversity in people, it seems we are pushing more individuals to modify their bodies to fit society's standards. I wish I could give Aaron a big hug. As a high fem presenting gay man who doesn't want to medicalize or feel "congruent," I love the work that Aaron is doing.

I'm not sure it's a good thing for society though, to have bearded guy-looking transmen identifying as butch lesbians. Yes, it's more accurate, but it just adds to the mental confusion that we're putting onto children. Diversity at its extremes can become quite toxic and ought not to be put front and center. Generalizing is part of how the human mind works, it's an extremely important part of how babies and children learn. Still, thank you and everybody like you that stands up against the medicalization of kids.

That’s what’s so ironic about this. If gender is a social construct then why you wanna modify yourself to fit in? Push the boundaries of what a male can be or what a female can be. Break strict gender roles that’s it and that’s what society was heading up until 2017. Sad capitalism is feeding off of insecurities. You warn someone a hundred times not to touch fire but they won’t understand the pain until they actually touch it. They think surgery and medicine doesn’t come with consequences wth.

    • @Shalanaya

Wehelp these kids to modify their bodies for the purpose of self realization and alleviate depression caused by genetic gender dysphoria, trans people who are born this way due to gender identity developed during the 2nd trimester NEVER transition due to societal standards of pressures, hence why transition is triggering to sexists, because it destroys our sexist standards based on which we have been defining wrongly male and female, because sex has always been a diversity and reality itself is multi-dimensional. Binary model has been designed for the homogenization of the diversified life force to force humans into a machine-like state of servitude and slavery, that was all by design. In many cultures, man and woman were determined energetically, and NOT biologically. This is important to understand, because brain used to be regarded as the largest sexd organ of the body. Trans people literally help our society to be accepting of the diversity of man and woman not just mentally, emotionally but also physically. Even a barbie has more privilege to be called a woman these days, trans people dont mody for the purpose of FITTING anywhere besides their own bodies for god's sake. When are people going to get it? Change of the body creates a doorway towards our true self that alolows us to be whole, this is why people go on a diet or do yoga, it is a gateway, and this is why so many yogis, including myself were recommending these children to go on cross-sex hormones as early as possible because it is only as children when we know ourselves the most before PFC fully develops. This relates back to the mass psychology of fascism talked about by Wilhelm Reich how suppress the innate sexual force in children is insttrumentaol for disconnecting them from their own bodies, so they could serve the authoritarian regimes rooted in two dimensional consciousness, which is fragmented, that6's why people started believing in the fallacy of gender or sex binary instead of sex diversity as it always was, this is why most biologists are speaking on this how in recent years biology has been politically weaponized in order to attack gender diverse minorities. Cass Report itself is connected through money to Heritage Foundation whose mission is to eradicate gender diversity altogether, bascially installing a moral police like they have in Middle East, if you as a man are too feminine, you need to conform. These same people are against trans people because they present diversity of the body more so than if they did not transition, because it is that transition itself that creates a revoilution of col;lective cosnciosuness to help us accept the diversity of man and woman and how they can be physically manifested. Heritage Foundation is not here for diversity of your expression mentally or emotionally, so this can give you a clear picture of what this is about, a sytemic homogeny. In other words, trans people are your ticket to freedom, this is why they have been attacked largely only in religiously oppressive regimes around the world. They are the doorway for humanity towards multi-dimensional realm, because most humans were deceived about the nature of reality. Humans do not live in duality, but trinity of proton, electron, neutron/neocortex, limbic brain, reptilian brain/time, space and conscosuenss. In duality people have given away the cosnciosuness as the authority to outside institutions to rule over them. In other words duality keeps humans fragmented and divided and conquered, this si why trans people have been such a threat to this system. I guess it will take some time for most people to get it.

I agree that the distress comes from the non acceptance of society of gender non conformity. I was a very tom boy girl in the 1980's and that was tolerated and I never felt distress because of my non conformity. Yes, I was very much excluded by the girls. But I was accepted by the boys and that was ok because I had no activities and interests in common with most of the girls anyway. I work with young adults now and they are very pushy, sometimes aggressive, telling me that I'm a trans person. I tell them that I'm a tom boy woman and that's ok to be one. They tell me it's "internalized transphobia". I reply that they have gender non conformity phobia. But they outnumber me, so I have to keep silent, which is complicated as I'm one of the handful of autistic adults speakers in my country. These young adults tell me that because I keep my hair under an inch long, wear "men's clothes" and like "men's subjects", I must transition. This is so sexist! But this reflects society's radicalisation of men and women roles since 2010. Before that, we were fighting for equal rights for both sexes and for the right of anyone to look however they want. Now, this young generation is fighting for comformity at the cost of their own health. It's just unbelievable! Plus, for my generation of autistic adults, it's so hard to see a whole lot of autistic girls and young women being told that the reason they feel out of place is their gender presentation, instead of explaining them that autistic people have felt as E.T.'s since the dawn of times. Autistic litterature is full of complaints about autistic writers feeling like they're aliens. And it certainly was my experience as a kid, as I neither fitted with the girls or the boys and couldn't fathom becoming a woman. I was highly distressed by getting boobs and growing hair. I didn't want my body to change and felt betrayed by it (I still hate change... because my cognitive deficits make it hard for me to adapt...). I didn't see myself as a mother or a barbie. However, I had the luck of being in the 1980's and seeing very tom boy women being farmers, mechanics, etc. And thus having some role models to which I could identify.

Yeah. Very strange that this person is warning against people transitioning, yet still decides to pass as a "traditional" male. Why do they still choose to grow their beard out instead of shaving it? Why haven't they practiced voice training to sound feminine again? I mean, yes, some have been arguing that they could be butch, but butch women still look traditionally feminine in some aspects, unlike this interviewee. They're telling others to conform to the status quo of gender norms, yet they don't seem to conform to concepts of gender at all. Sounds fishy...

Aaron's wife leaving reminds me of Graham Linehan. His wife also left him after he was visited 2 or 3 times by the police. People get scared when exposed to harassment by the mob, and when law enforcement & institutions start coming after one's partner or family, they run away. That's not an excuse but it is a reason. Graham was cancelled & couldn't get work. These people are so brave for doing what they've been doing at such personal cost. If I had a spouse who was that committed to their values, I'd hang onto them! Maybe I feel that way because I stick to my values even when it's inconvenient. Of course, maybe that's also why I'm chronically single.

    Just started listening.
1st problem I hear is the use of the word “client”. If people, youth or mature, are seeking ‘counseling’ to determine their status for medical intervention… they are PATIENTS!
This linguistic intentional error is what enables medical personnel, T’s, T activists, politicians to circumvent the whole “medical intervention” issue by claiming, falsely, that ‘gender’ (false) is how you ‘feel’. If this is a REAL medical condition then these people are patients and therefore required to through extensive evaluation and testing!
Of course this IS a mental health issue.

      @jac6727 6 месяцев назад +3

@@AGKimberly Thank you for clarifying. I do understand that and I understand the difference.
However, I still do think that the use of language and the un-coupling of the word ‘patient’ from this process has a normalizing effect on this condition and situation.
By normalizing I mean the whole “this is who I am because this is how I feel” mindset. (Feelings, however intense, are transient. Biology is not).
      Just my 2 cents.
      Your clarification is appreciated 👍

Then I read the book “Allah made us sexual outlaws in an African Islamic city” in college for a anthro class and it made me realize how narrow minded the idea of exporting self expression was. We really, REALLY need a way to find each other locally. I live in Columbus & every time I talk about the trans thing, I know I risk being dismissed as a transphobe simply because people who don't agree with us often don't see the same EVIDENCE we do. Corporate media is so woke & biased in their reporting so that trans is seen as the new civil rights issue & the whole narrative they promote. But if they aren't getting the same NEWS (because they are listening to NPR, "progressive" talk radio, woke political leaders, woke "influencers", etc.) that we are (from all the YT channels and new organizations exposing this cult), then they haven't SEEN the evidence we have, so when we talk about gRapists in women's prisons, they hear, "All trans people are gRapists," which sounds bigoted. Anyway, it would be so nice to have SOMEONE locally that already has some knowledge about all this so that I don't have to start at square one with every person to whom I dare bring up the trans / gender identity ideology issue. He or she could keep me informed about bills, hearings, etc. here in OH (or local policies here in Columbus) & we could even talk with our elected officials together. I just can't keep up with everything on my own!

She never thought she's actually a man, but wanted to transition so she could escape the harrasment in everyday life that butch lesbians experience (in the US). So she felt she needed to medicalize in a way that has serious health risks, in order to be accepted. This reveals the deep-rooted homophobia & "non- gender conforming phobia" that gender ideology (and society at large) has.

But if all these transguys with full beards start running around saying they are women, it only adds to the confusion. The whole point of transitioning in the first place was to be perceived by society as the opposite sex - which Buck Angel admits. I think a lot of girls like Aaron and Buck were, were so logical and down to earth that they actually didn't relate to "normal" girls. I can relate to that - as a serious tomboy who hated my "girl-puberty" I would have been a victim of the trans ideology if I was a young girl today.

yeah buck is still in denial and tries to claim that she got a diligent diagnosis and treatment, even though there never was a legitimate way to determine who is actually trans, and true trans doesn't exist. all this trans identity stuff was always based on sexist and homophobic diagnostic criteria. judging by buck's history her transition was obviously also a way to deal with society's misogyny, homophobia and to have some peace in her life. aaron is honest about this fact now, and she sounds more grounded in reality as a result. more young people identifying as trans need this kind of reality check and grounding in reality because these extreme body modifications that come with a lot of risk should not be normalized

People need to look into the roots of homosexuality, and take a much closer look at the sexual revolution. I’ve been looking into this deeply over the last 4 years. Not only is no-one trans, no-one is born gay either. Our society has literally created this problem, and it’s spiralling out of control. This cannot be resolved until homosexuality is resolves.
The problem, is there are far too many gay people who continue to insist this is who they are, instead of realizing for them, something else might be going on. This is not an attack on same sex attracted people, but rather that trans and SSA is rooted in the same issue. I miss the society we used to be where truth mattered more than feelings.

What a homophobic and downright stupid comment. Homosexuality has nothing to do with Transgenderism. Homosexuality is rooted in science and reality; Transgenderism is basically a set of religious beliefs.

Agree that things are spiraling out of control, but SSA is a part of reality. There ARE gays, lesbians, and bisexuals.

I'm interested in your point of view on homosexuality, because my thoughts on the subject lead me to believe that homosexuality is also a social construct and not an attribute we are born with. Please feel free to share your research and observations in the comments section, as it's very rare to hear people say that homosexuality isn't innate. Disclaimer: Of course, each person is free to choose his or her sexual orientation, and my message is not intended to offend homosexuals, but just to explore other avenues of thought on the subject. Thank you for your reply

That is completely ridiculous. People do not actively choose who they are sexually attracted to. The connection is that gender nonconformity is common in gay people, and that gay people have been preyed on by a medical industry that exploits a desire to conform. Gay people do not need to be told we're wrong by the left wing encouraging us to change our bodies nor the right wing shaming us for our love and attraction and trying to get us to pretend we're straight.

Well, imho, this whole trans debacle is partly due to their successful efforts to hitch their wagon to the gay rights movement. I remember this happening in the late 70s with the kiddie-attracted. There were nambla-ads in the local gay community papers. They're currently rebranding and trying to once again piggyback onto the rainbow wagon.
Now, I'm wondering if OP will also be conflating that particular group with 'gay people' too. Very provocative words with no follow through from @smalltownhomesteadAC . If you're going to make such statements then be so good as to outline your reasons for thinking that way. You say you've been looking at it deeply for 4 years? I'm curious about what you've noticed. I'm definitely open to considering all pov on this and other issues. Let's have a discussion.

i wish you people would stop using phrases such as "your so brave"... this is at this point of me listening... he chose a fight to fight ... even at the expense of his family! thats not brave ! thats selfishness!! and we need to stop equating selfish as bad!!! say something like "WOW! its incredible you would sacrifice one idea (relationship) over some ambiguous idea of your impact on your emotional stance!!
