I think it's so powerful that Aaron is publicly calling herself a butch lesbian again. I can completely understand why medicalization helped her feel more secure in the world as a masculine presenting female who loves other females. I'm never mad at the trans identified people who did this for their safety and sense of well-being. 29:50 There is a detransitioner called Layton who is interviewed on stephanie winn’s podcast about this exact thing: dissociation from her body leading to (her therapist) labeling her with a trans identity when she wasn’t even dysphoric
I haven't watched the whole video yet but thank you very much for interviewing Aaron Kimberly. He is an absolute hero. He has lost everything over this and all he is trying to do is act in an ethical manner. He truly is an inspirational person and what he has been through gives me motivation to go forward with my own work. All the best to both of you and thank you for your work on this channel.
Wow, the very definition of an expert by experience. Very shocking story. So transing children (who can in no way give ‘informed consent’) is considered their legitimate lifestyle choice? Absolute mind bending madness. Thanks for your honesty and bravery in speaking up.
We've lost the culture of honor, of honesty, of courage. It's quite clear here, who has these virtues and who doesn't. I don't care who's gay, straight or trans or whatever. I'd like them to be allowed to be who they feel they are. But I care a great deal that people are allowed to see what they're looking at and say what they can see. How can you talk about the freedom to identify as this or that, without allowing the freedom to recognize what you see.
Thanks for being so open and giving such a thoughtful and informative interview. Good luck with your work and opening people's minds to these issues. ❤
Aaron is an excellent spokeperson on this issue. Her kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and self-awareness enables people to actually hear what she is saying.
Aaron's wife leaving reminds me of Graham Linehan. His wife also left him after he was visited 2 or 3 times by the police. People get scared when exposed to harassment by the mob, and when law enforcement & institutions start coming after one's partner or family, they run away. That's not an excuse but it is a reason. Graham was cancelled & couldn't get work. These people are so brave for doing what they've been doing at such personal cost. If I had a spouse who was that committed to their values, I'd hang onto them! Maybe I feel that way because I stick to my values even when it's inconvenient. Of course, maybe that's also why I'm chronically single.
I find it interesting to have the testimonies and points of view of trans people who are so well articulated and who have a developed critical sense. It would also be interesting, I think, to have the testimonies and arguments of women and young women (biologically female) who are subject to the harm of trans ideology in their private and/or public lives. This would give a more complete picture of the issues linked to this phenomenon of gender transition. Thank you for all of your videos.
So many great interviews on RUclips. I like this lady interviewer, she is a good interviewer. I like Andrew Gold too. Amazing skill to interview people.
I find it crazy that that's a female, but yea transition can sometimes transform you that much. I'm glad she speaks about the issues with children transitioning it's a lit worse than adults, I don't care if adults do it, but puberty blockers are not safe or reversible.
Hi my name is Brooke I started a petition to collect signatures to protect children from medically transitioning before legal age. I myself I'm a transgender female transitioned at 56 years old. Did bottom surgery approximately 2 months ago and the emotional toll not to mention physical that it plays upon you. I can not imagine a child going through this. There's some things that can be done and I'm trying to get them done as well. I appreciate your showing your content. I am available if you would like to speak about this or any other issue dealing with children. I have two children and three grandchildren. My name is Brooke. Forever forbid and. Thank you
You need to contact Google and have them remove the Trevor project disclaimer as saying that this video is talking about conversion therapy which it is not. Very sad that that is attached to this very thoughtful video that was made with two very intelligent people.
Just started listening. 1st problem I hear is the use of the word “client”. If people, youth or mature, are seeking ‘counseling’ to determine their status for medical intervention… they are PATIENTS! This linguistic intentional error is what enables medical personnel, T’s, T activists, politicians to circumvent the whole “medical intervention” issue by claiming, falsely, that ‘gender’ (false) is how you ‘feel’. If this is a REAL medical condition then these people are patients and therefore required to through extensive evaluation and testing! Of course this IS a mental health issue. --Except when it’s a--G///p (code because YT algorithms!), then it’s fetish
I understand the point you’re making. But, I’m a mental health clinician not a medical clinician. Mental health professionals use “client” and medical professionals use “patient”.
@@AGKimberly Thank you for clarifying. I do understand that and I understand the difference. However, I still do think that the use of language and the un-coupling of the word ‘patient’ from this process has a normalizing effect on this condition and situation. By normalizing I mean the whole “this is who I am because this is how I feel” mindset. (Feelings, however intense, are transient. Biology is not). Just my 2 cents. Your clarification is appreciated 👍
Makes me angry and sad that Aaron's wife bailed when things got difficult. Hate seeing that ever happen to someone. These TRA's can cause so much devastation. Nothing more dangerous than the self-righteous zealots who feel called to their mission against the rest of the world. We've seen it so many times throughout history, yet never seem to learn.
I replied but RUclips seems to have deleted it. A large national survey of youth accessing gender medicine showed that 19% of the youth were indigenous, compared to 5% of the general Canadian population. So, very over represented in “trans”. The trauma link here seems strong.
I’ve got that thing where you just hate how you look. And someone tried to convince me I was trans as a kid. Like I want to pull my jaw off to try to put it on straight. Or break my nose back into place after childhood injuries. I used to still buy into the dogma despite my bad experiences with the topic. Then I read the book “Allah made us sexual outlaws in an African Islamic city” in college for a anthro class and it made me realize how narrow minded the idea of exporting self expression was. The author when he first arrived was mocked by the local non conforming community for assuming his western view was the universal.
Does anyone know if Aaron has created any resources for more critically thinking minors, such as the clinical guides & information for the patient population? Or will this be something in the phase 2 operations of the courage coalition? Society at large, parents, medical ppl, etc need the balanced evidence based information... and so do kids who might be open to it coming from an organization like the LGBT courage coalition
We really, REALLY need a way to find each other locally. I live in Columbus & every time I talk about the trans thing, I know I risk being dismissed as a transphobe simply because people who don't agree with us often don't see the same EVIDENCE we do. Corporate media is so woke & biased in their reporting so that trans is seen as the new civil rights issue & the whole narrative they promote. But if they aren't getting the same NEWS (because they are listening to NPR, "progressive" talk radio, woke political leaders, woke "influencers", etc.) that we are (from all the YT channels and new organizations exposing this cult), then they haven't SEEN the evidence we have, so when we talk about gRapists in women's prisons, they hear, "All trans people are gRapists," which sounds bigoted. Anyway, it would be so nice to have SOMEONE locally that already has some knowledge about all this so that I don't have to start at square one with every person to whom I dare bring up the trans / gender identity ideology issue. He or she could keep me informed about bills, hearings, etc. here in OH (or local policies here in Columbus) & we could even talk with our elected officials together. I just can't keep up with everything on my own!
She might be feeling a bit stressed and this relaxes her. I myself have this inner stress and i can't sit still without moving my hands or legs. And that's ok
I don't see any problem with this, if such a trivial thing bothers you so much don't watch her videos anymore instead of making silly comments about her hair🤷
I've gone to see Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire 5 times already & I want to go again. I love that movie. The trailer sucks. It's misleading & I almost didn't go because I thought the trailer looked ridiculous, but it has become my favorite Godzilla film! I even wrote up my own review & sent it out in an email to people encouraging them to go see it. I hardly ever go to movies. The Godzilla movies are an exception. I wanted to see them on the big screen!
It's heartbreaking to me what Aaron tells about her own reasons for transitioning. She never thought she's actually a man, but wanted to transition so she could escape the harrasment in everyday life that butch lesbians experience (in the US). So she felt she needed to medicalize in a way that has serious health risks, in order to be accepted. This reveals the deep-rooted homophobia & "non- gender conforming phobia" that gender ideology (and society at large) has.
I wish Buck Angel would do what you did. Buck doesnt care if they are called she but sees it as people trying to hurt their feelings.. still eants he. The language is why we are in this mess
Yes, the manipulation of language is a cancer on society - social engineering. But if all these transguys with full beards start running around saying they are women, it only adds to the confusion. The whole point of transitioning in the first place was to be perceived by society as the opposite sex - which Buck Angel admits. I think a lot of girls like Aaron and Buck were, were so logical and down to earth that they actually didn't relate to "normal" girls. I can relate to that - as a serious tomboy who hated my "girl-puberty" I would have been a victim of the trans ideology if I was a young girl today.
yeah buck is still in denial and tries to claim that she got a diligent diagnosis and treatment, even though there never was a legitimate way to determine who is actually trans, and true trans doesn't exist. all this trans identity stuff was always based on sexist and homophobic diagnostic criteria. judging by buck's history her transition was obviously also a way to deal with society's misogyny, homophobia and to have some peace in her life. aaron is honest about this fact now, and she sounds more grounded in reality as a result. more young people identifying as trans need this kind of reality check and grounding in reality because these extreme body modifications that come with a lot of risk should not be normalized
People need to look into the roots of homosexuality, and take a much closer look at the sexual revolution. I’ve been looking into this deeply over the last 4 years. Not only is no-one trans, no-one is born gay either. Our society has literally created this problem, and it’s spiralling out of control. This cannot be resolved until homosexuality is resolves. The problem, is there are far too many gay people who continue to insist this is who they are, instead of realizing for them, something else might be going on. This is not an attack on same sex attracted people, but rather that trans and SSA is rooted in the same issue. I miss the society we used to be where truth mattered more than feelings.
What a homophobic and downright stupid comment. Homosexuality has nothing to do with Transgenderism. Homosexuality is rooted in science and reality; Transgenderism is basically a set of religious beliefs.
I'm interested in your point of view on homosexuality, because my thoughts on the subject lead me to believe that homosexuality is also a social construct and not an attribute we are born with. Please feel free to share your research and observations in the comments section, as it's very rare to hear people say that homosexuality isn't innate. Disclaimer: Of course, each person is free to choose his or her sexual orientation, and my message is not intended to offend homosexuals, but just to explore other avenues of thought on the subject. Thank you for your reply
That is completely ridiculous. People do not actively choose who they are sexually attracted to. The connection is that gender nonconformity is common in gay people, and that gay people have been preyed on by a medical industry that exploits a desire to conform. Gay people do not need to be told we're wrong by the left wing encouraging us to change our bodies nor the right wing shaming us for our love and attraction and trying to get us to pretend we're straight.
Well, imho, this whole trans debacle is partly due to their successful efforts to hitch their wagon to the gay rights movement. I remember this happening in the late 70s with the kiddie-attracted. There were nambla-ads in the local gay community papers. They're currently rebranding and trying to once again piggyback onto the rainbow wagon. Now, I'm wondering if OP will also be conflating that particular group with 'gay people' too. Very provocative words with no follow through from @smalltownhomesteadAC . If you're going to make such statements then be so good as to outline your reasons for thinking that way. You say you've been looking at it deeply for 4 years? I'm curious about what you've noticed. I'm definitely open to considering all pov on this and other issues. Let's have a discussion.
i wish you people would stop using phrases such as "your so brave"... this is at this point of me listening... he chose a fight to fight ... even at the expense of his family! thats not brave ! thats selfishness!! and we need to stop equating selfish as bad!!! say something like "WOW! its incredible you would sacrifice one idea (relationship) over some ambiguous idea of your impact on your emotional stance!!

Thank you for speaking up, Aaron!
If people are afraid, they should band together and make change for good.
Afraid? Of what Kimberly?
That’s exactly what the LGBT Courage Coalition is working on. We support whistleblowers and a few have come forward.
Wow, the very definition of an expert by experience. Very shocking story. So transing children (who can in no way give ‘informed consent’) is considered their legitimate lifestyle choice? Absolute mind bending madness. Thanks for your honesty and bravery in speaking up.
Great interview, I’m surprised by how much I learned from Aaron….and what an interesting life, her integrity is inspirational
Thank-you!
Brava, grrrls! Well done interview, Sasha: Aaron has much clincial, personal, and ethical insights to share.
How can you talk about the freedom to identify as this or that, without allowing the freedom to recognize what you see.
fabulous interview, I really appreciate the sincerity, courage and professionalism of this person. We need more people like her
Thanks for being so open and giving such a thoughtful and informative interview.
Aaron is an authentic soul who speaks through wisdom. Both a gift to us and a disappearing find in today's irrational polarized world.
TRANS USED TO BE ONE IN 4000 ITS DANGEROUS WHEN MEDICAL THING COMES FASHIONABLE THESE TREATMENTS HAVE BIG HEALTH IMPLICATIONS
Trans is still WAY less than one in 4000.
Beard and voice, that’s about it. Still a woman.
Thank you for sharing this great conversation. ❤
--Except when it’s
a--G///p (code because YT algorithms!), then it’s fetish
How many children do you think have been transitioned at this clinic you worked at? How many do you reckon in Canada?
Unfortunately those stats are very difficult to obtain. We’ve tried.
Aaron: do you have any idea of what percentage of the children in care seeking gender treatment are of the first nations?
I replied but RUclips seems to have deleted it.
A large national survey of youth accessing gender medicine showed that 19% of the youth were indigenous, compared to 5% of the general Canadian population. So, very over represented in “trans”. The trauma link here seems strong.
@@AGKimberly thanks !
Another great interview!
Your ex wife wasn’t “heterosexual” she was in a marriage with ANOTHER WOMAN.
Hey Sasha, do you and Plebity have live meetups/events? This whole world of non-woke moderates is still too online imo. New York area pls.
Agree I would love to hang out with people who share my beliefs (Australian btw!) ❤
Fascinating interview, great guest. (Sasha, please stop fiddling with your hair, it's distracting.)
I didn’t even notice until read this.
Start a support group with like minded people, Buck Angel and Blair White would be great partners.
Last movie i went to see was Dune part 2. Before that, it was Dune part 1. The next movie im planning to go see is Dune (part 3).
That's it.
I never find the link Where is it?
MASCULINITY IN A WOMAN
es una secta
Agree that things are spiraling out of control, but SSA is a part of reality. There ARE gays, lesbians, and bisexuals.
