In my previous video, I unboxed the Flasher 2.0 from Nood and tried it for the first time, and in this video I'm addressing the claims that Nood makes about this device and showing your my results! I love the idea of an at home laser hair removal device, but I'm still looking for the perfect one. Thanks for watching!

    I would very much appreciate an update video, as I'm shopping for one of these as a gift, and you're the only review without bias. Also, brilliant work with the time stamps, everyone should be using that, way more convenient than having to sit through everyone else's 20 minute review videos. Great work.

    I've been looking for a good way to permanently get rid of my hair down there, but was hesitant/suspicious about this product when it was recommended to me online. Glad you shared your experience with it, and I look forward to knowing if it works better given a few more weeks of use. Appreciate this review! I do think expecting the same as professional laser hair isn't a good expectation. From what I've seen I. Reviews it seems like coarser hair like under arm or bikini takes a lot longer to see more results. I found a good thread in r/hairremoval. I'm just starting to do my test area (small never done it) to continue over the next week before starting to fully use!

    I had my bikini line done by laser maybe 20 years ago. I was cautioned at the time that it was "hair reduction". I still have no hair regrowth. It has been awesome. At that time it cost $500 for 3 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart. That's all I got. My suggestion is you price out laser treatments. I believe even today the cost could be reasonable for many people and it works.

    Please make an update video, I would be wary of using it on my face, could hurt. I had used a small razor for my facial hairs for quite some time but then it started cutting my cheeks, very painful, so I got rid of it. That might have been because the blade had become dull, not sure. Now i carefully just use little sicors for my face and a very old razor on my leggs.

    Just FYI, they can't delete reviews. Coming from someone who ran a Google business page. Google will delete fake reviews and business can submit reviews to Google to review but cannot delete them on their own. Google will automatically review a business reviews if they got a lot in a short period of time. That's likely what happened.
    On another note, I have been using this in my arm pits for the last 5 weeks (only 1 time a week though because that's what I have time for) on level 6&7 and I have noticed that the hair definitely does not grow as fast and it seems sparser. I usually shave 2-3 times a week and now I only need to shave when I'm going to use the flasher since about week 3.

    • @KathySanthouse

    I’ve had my upper lip and my bikini done for 6 months at a University Hospital laser. Yes, it really HURTS. Does it work? YES! The best analogy I’ve heard is “a red hot rubber band being stretched to full and snapped on your skin”. Laser will never work on light hair or light peach fuzz. It needs dark hair to transmit the energy to the root. It gets less painful as the hair goes away.

    So do I understand that when using nood you’re not using a razor to shave or do you still shave THEN do nood? Because I hate using razors… so maybe having a non razor alternative would be a benefit though it clearly takes more time right?

    • @KathySanthouse
      @KathySanthouse  7 месяцев назад +2

      You shave and then do Nood. I think otherwise the laser would target the hair above the skin and it basically burns it off but also doesn’t get the hair follicle under the skin. 😬

    Yep the triple pass plus the twice per week usage it was WAY too much of a time commitment. Does it work? Sure. Is it worth it? Not in my opinion. Did I see hair reduction? Yes, but at the expense of several hours a week and not enough to make it noticeable. So, highly recommend finding a different device that moves MUCH quicker. This one is not worth your time or money. They certainly over promise on this one. I still have mine, but I also recently purchased a more expensive one that has legit reviews. Not only ones in their website, that like she said seem sketch.

    Hello, thank for sharing، l recommend to Using an ice cube for a short time in the sensitive area before using the device that will stop the pain entirely
    For armpit or sensitive area if you not using shaving cream to close shave it's will not work
    It will be Semi-permanent , After this stage in the video, the hair will be light and easy to fall out once you pull it with a tweezer . Now You can use it once a month for four months to achieve completely hair free skin and tuch up ones every year or six months.

    Sooo.... bear with me. This review actually makes a lot of sense. I've had a lot of professional laser hair removal done over the years.
    First, the laser industry always over promises. I don't know why 😮‍💨 they've got a good product, I wish marketers would quit trying to oversell it.
    Second, no laser that I've come across is completely painless. I'm not sure how it could be, considering it is burning your hair folic in order to damage and scare it so it no longer produces hair. The reason you feel more pain in some areas than others is because 1, you have more nerve ending in certain areas, and 2, yes, if the laser isn't pressed all the way against your skin it won't focus on the dark pigment of the hair folic and will instead pick up darker pigment on the surface of your skin. This is also why laser isn't recommended for darker complexions. Professional laser is making advancements in this area with technology, though.
    Three, yes, the laser is going to be less effective if you can't get it flush with your skin, but it should still work a little.
    My other question and assumption about why it didn't work on your underarm is because the underarm hair is more coarse than leg hair, and is this at-home laser powerful enough to treat coarse hair or is it just meant for normal type hair?
    Also, I find it interesting that they say 6-8 weeks and not 6-8 treatments. This is odd to me because the way I understand it from professional laser is that you need 6-8 treatments, but they are typically scheduled 4-6 weeks apart due to the hair growth cycle. Assuming this probably isn't as strong of a laser, I'm guessing that you would need more frequent treatments to damage the follicles. Whereas the goal with professional laser is to damage the follicles with the first treatment, and then when new follicles become active in 6-8 weeks, you go back to damage those. Eventually, what you see over time is a drastic reduction in hair growth. But as new follicles become active, you see the hair growth return.
    This brings me back to overselling. Laser should be marketed as hair reduction, not hair removal. Even though the damaged follicles won't grow hair anymore. New ones will continue to produce hair, and you will need to go back for touch-up treatments.
    I'm very interested in this product because I deal with PCOS but I'd like to understand it better and know that it's going to work on my more coarse hair before buying it.
    Thank you for such a thorough and honest review. I hope I helped you maybe understand some of the issues with it!

      Yes, this all makes sense! In my final review video, I talked about some of this. I really disagree with these companies referring to it as “permanent.”

    • @allisonharrington1784
      @allisonharrington1784 Год назад +2

      @Kathy Santhouse technically speaking it should be permanent for the follicles hit by the laser but not all follicles are and then new ones produce hair so you do start growing hair again. But yes they shouldn't call it permanent.

    You used the other laser Jovs on your legs before using nood device...so that hair was treated before.

      That is true! But I didn’t see any results with the Jovs.

    When you go professionally laser, you have to shave every time before you laser it try shaving every time before you use the product and then take another review and see if that helps and it's harder to remove thicker hair even when you go get laser professionally
