Thanks for taking the time to post your comment. Aye we've been kept on the go, but we are not as busy (yet!!) as some of the other stations in the Highlands and Island who are working round the clock chasing massive wilfires in the region.
Hi, thanks for your comment. The camera is a Drift HD 1080 and it's screwed onto a clamp permenantly attached to the appliance overhead spotlights, best position for camera, I have an external mic tucked behind the stansion to reduce wind interference. I only switch it on to the less serious incidents we get turned out to
Tarberts finest! Another great video was very close to that house might have been a difficult shout that, I think someone was looking after them that day
Hi there, we are all retained stations in the Western Isles. As a station we only get about 2 or 3 shouts a month, which is enough to keep us ticking over. Thanks for watching :)
Yea, I know but I have to watch what I put out to the public, MDT/Firelink information etc is restricted to Fire personnel. Don't want to ruffle any feathers. Part of this video actually got shown on the Scottish National news during the wildfire season last year. My jaw dropped when I saw it and I thought "oh oh no way man!!"
There was a fire in Newvally yesturday and i am puting the videos together to put on youtube. Nice video, keep safe during this hot spring.
