Hey friends! I'd filmed this video the day before the hurricane came through the southeast. We still don't have power but are incredibly thankful to be safe and sound. I've been documenting the day-to-day over on our other channel Roots and Refuge. I wanted to go ahead and put this video up though. I'm definitely not baking bread this was currently, but as soon as the power returns, I'll be back at it!
@@The_Farmers_Table Thankful that you were not hit worse,& I know it is still such a challenging time that your dealing with! Continued Prayers for so many in some form of abnormality, to those severely devastated! All are displaced right now without power. That’s a big minimum damage.
Same! 2/3 of our house is GF so I will be trying that for sure now that our new bread machine has arrived! It has a great recipe book with several GF options, but it would be helpful to watch a video by someone who has done it 😊 thx for sharing! ❤ Donna Jean
For those looking for a good cheaper machine- cuisinart makes one that you can cook 1-2 lb loaves, lets you choose crust color, and has a delay cooking function so you can turn it on at night and your bread not have a soggy bottom. I’ve had mine for a year and no issues so far
This was a VERY thorough explanation on bread makers and ingredients ❤️ We opened a restaurant 25 years ago and I knew we wanted to offer homemade bread and soup. With 25 years experience making all of our families bread, I knew I had to figure out how to make it more hands off. I bought three bread makers and started experimenting! We became famous, locally, for our bread 😉 We were even told by people being treated with cancer, that they were able to eat our food and not be sick. There is a huge connection to CLEAN food and health! I believe our families health is linked to food made from scratch, all those years. I would love to hear how you make gluten free and sourdough in the bread machine! I now have to be gluten free and have not been able to master either of those 🥲
I went through 9 bread machines in the 17 years I home schooled and never baked in them. It was just so easy to throw the ingredients in and push the dough cycle, then I could do whatever I wanted with it. French bread, pretzels, bagels, dinner rolls, focaccia, pizza, bread sticks, cinnamon rolls, hamburger buns, sandwich bread, pastries, the options are endless❤️
I haven't even watched this yet but holy cow the timing. (OK this will be long!) I found your book on Kindle Unlimited a few months ago and really loved it. I don't have a homestead but I want to make more homemade and local and I really loved learning about the homestead life. After reading your book I found your Instagram and then RUclips. I have watched all of the Farmers Table videos and a lot of Roots and Refuge. I am enjoying your content and message soooo sooo much. And!! Yesterday I got a bread maker to start baking bread at home. The timing on this video is perfect for me! Thank you so much. Now to watch it! :)
The smaller loaf made me giggle in remembrance of my Round bread. When my husband and I were young and broke I would use a 3 pound coffee can to bake bread in. My husband's coworkers were always fascinated with his round sandwiches! 😆
I just had a magical thrifting moment with the Zojiurushi. I have been watching FB marketplace since I saw this video. Was going to get one for $120 and had some time to kill before meeting the seller so I went into a thrift store and there was one for $40 in the store!
Tangzhong will make your bread softer AND last longer! I've had cinnamon rolls made with tangzhong stay soft for a full week. It's just a couple tablespoons of flour mixed with some of your recipe liquid and cooked in a saucepan until it's a thick paste, then added back into your normal recipe. Super easy, but SUCH a difference!
Nothing ng beats the amazing smell of fresh baked bread! My very first bread machine had belonged to a friend who wasn't using it. It's the only one I've ever seen that baked a tall ROUND load - what fun that was! And the raised top was a prized treat when it was time to slice the loaf. Loved it.
I make bread by hand then i purchased a bread machine. I was so fed up with my bread machine until I saw your video. Now i make 2 or 3 small loaves a week. Thank you!!!!
I love my bread machine. I am older so I make the dough with the dough function for home made rolls. I just bought a cast iron pizza pan so I will use the dough function for the pizza dough. Thanks Jess for sharing.❤️✝️🙏🇺🇸
I have had a zojurishi machine for about 5 years with no issues & use it a lot. Like you, I make a 1.5 loaf & find it easier for sandwiches, toast, etc. I slice it with an electric knife and store some of the slices in the freezer.
Jess, thank you so much. My nana purchased the black and silver one for me before she passed and I am just now able to pull it out without crying and I really want to use it. This helped me not be intimidated at all and I will be making my first loaf tomorrow thanks to you! My nana grew up extremely poor and loved, loved her some fresh and hot bread. Thank you for giving me the courage to pull it out and use it!
THANK YOU...I have a zojirushi, I have had it for years I love it. My dad bought me , himself and my brother one. We use it all the time. My dad makes all sorts of stuff in it. It is made in Japan and very high quality. Yews your saying it right. My daughter lives in Japan. It makes the PERFECT dinner roll. My 87 year old still uses his, he also love the fruit quick breads. It an investment but well worth it...The original recipe that comes with it is easy to use and every recipe turns out. Yes make the 1.5 lb loaf..it turns out better and doesn't stick...Thanks you for showing how to use other basic bread machine recipes and the book.
You will pass your Zojirushi to your granddaughter, and she will pass it to hers. My mother gave me her Zojirushi rice cooker almost 25 years ago. It's never failed!
I love my zojirushi bread machine that I bought during Covid. I use it also to make pizza dough, cinnamon roll dough and other types of dough because my house is SO COLD that it’s hard to get dough to consistently rise.
A good video on bread machines. The book looks to be a good asset for the kitchen. Most recipes can be used interchangeably between machine and handmade, with some minir tweeks. I actually have two older machines. I am disgusted with spending $3 on cheap sandwich bread. Easier, cheaper and better to make it at home. Time to dig my old machines out. No more expensive store-bought bread for me.
Love the book you are holding. I use it often. My bread machine is used mostly for dough making as my arthritis can affect my abilities. The bread machine does a great job mixing and kneading. I form, second rise-in my pan, then bake in my oven.
Thank you so much for the video. I was just actually using my bread machine tonight to make garlic bread. On a sidenote, I also have that bread book and it’s great. I took the book to a printing place and had it spiral bound with the clear cover on the top Because I knew I’d be using it often.
I found a brand new bread machine at a thrift store for $5. I’ve seen several at different thrift store for dirty cheap. Definitely worth checking out the thrift stores before spending $400+ for one. I love mixing and kneading my dough in the bread machine but then baking it in the oven in my bread pans so it’s not the tall odd shape.
I just bought Pullman loaf pans, could I knead in a bread machine and bake in those. Sorry if a dumb question lol I’m new at bread baking and currently undergoing chemotherapy so I have very little energy right now to be baking from scratch. TY
Absolutely all types of bread freeze wonderfully! It’s a great way to preserve them and they thaw very fast too (less than 20 minutes.) I’ve been doing it for years!
I came back to this video to say that I made the recipe in this video today f9r my husband's lunches this week. He just tasted a slice and said this is the best loaf of white bread I made so far. So, this is the one I will continue to make for his sandwiches. I dot eat much bread, but I enjoy making it for my husband. I ordered the book based on your recommendation, amd now I can't wait to get it, especially since you made many recipes from it! Thanks so much, Jess!!
I made bread today! I had been looking for a good sandwich bread recipe for years and didn't find a winner until you shared Amanda's Very Best Sandwich Bread recipe in another video at some point. If I eat store bought breads or other wheat products my migraines return, so homemade is must for me. And yes, hot bread is so good. I had an end piece with butter and honey!
Thank you very much for showing this recipe. I have a bread machine that I got way back when. Probably when you were like maybe 10. I love making fresh bread. Hearts and flowers coming your way. ❤️💐
I have the Zojirushi and it’s fantastic! The machine comes with a book that has awesome recipes. Leaving the loaf in the pan overnight, you will *always* have a soggy bottom. To avoid wet bottoms, just release the loaf from the pan after cooling somewhat. Best machine! Thanks for the demo❤
I bet you're glad you have your bread machine after Hurricane Helene. You poor lot what you've been through at least we don't have this often in England sending my love to you and your family. What a wonderful, beautiful, strong woman you are it makes me proud 😊 xx
Dont forget the delay timer on your Zo, Jess! I start my loaves at night and set the timer to have it come out at the same time my alarm goes off. I’ve had my Zo for almost 10 years and the only thing I’ve had to do for it was buy a new pan for $50 and that was about 8 years in. It’s a great machine that will last a long time! My mom has had hers about the same amount of time. She counts her loaves and she’s over 1000 all from the same machine.
I’m glad to see you’re using your “loaf” 🍞 buying a bread making machine. I feel like an “outsider” with my antiquated bread machine that’s so old the machine has gone “stale”. I’m hoping to get a new machine soon before I grow “mold”, then ending up “pan bread”. You could possibly start selling your bread. I heard there’s a lot of “dough” in it. I suppose you have to earn a “crust” in these austere dreary times, especially if living on the “breadline”. It would be a good source of income. It would be your “bread and butter”. Sorry for the bad english, intelligence doesn’t run in the family, I must be “in-bread”. I really admire your baking skills. I might even raise a "toast" whenever an alcoholic refreshment passes my way. I’m not exactly my “Mother’s Pride” with my bread baking skills. My wife really ”kneads” one of those machines for her sandwich making business. Ironically, her name just happens to be “Marg” would you believe. She loves gossiping and “spreading” it about. Incidentally, be careful when adding salt to your bread ingredients. I accidentally “a-salted” myself, ending up in a hospital that wasn’t very hospitable. To put it succinctly, I think bread making machines are the best inventions-yes you guessed correctly-since “slice bread”. I think I’ve left my “puns” in the oven for too long, so I’ll say goodbye now, it’s way past my “bread-time”. So sorry for this long comment, I must be on a “roll”. You must think I’m an absolute “doughnut”. You really deserve much “butter”. I'm hoping, at “Yeast“, I'm making you smile. Incidentally, sometimes my bread doesn’t rise to the occasion. Therefore, should I replace the yeast with viagra, or will the viagra just make my bread go hard? Please advise. Yours sincerely, the fruit and nut “Ginger-Bread-Man”.
I am a big advocate of buying small kitchen appliances like this at thrift stores. My current bread machine I got about 2 years ago for $15. I downloaded the user manual and I bake 2 loaves of sandwich bread each week. I place one in a ziplock and keep in the fridge. The other I cut in half and half the loaf I slice and the other half I leave whole. I wrap both in beeswax wraps and store inside a bread bag made from recycled water bottles. I keep it on my counter and when one loaf gets low, I thaw out the one from the fridge and do the same thing. The loaf from the fridge always spoils more quickly probably due to moisture, so I make sure to use it up quickly for French toast if needed.
Yes, Jess, I need a gluten free bread machine video! I’ve found many cookbooks online but don’t know which one to buy!! I stopped eating bread long ago and I miss it sooo very much!!
Sitting here this morning having coffee while I watch your video and after you cut the warm loaves all I could think of was fresh baked bread, still hot schmeared with butter and topped with black pepper....yum! Amazon has the Neretva bread maker as I type this for $139 with a $20 coupon so decent price. And yes please, gluten free video!
I had one for years but I was never satisfied with the quality of the loaf. But it was the old Sunbeam brand (I think it sold for like $50 backnin the day). It sat in pantry for years and I finally donated it this past spring to declutter. Now I see these newer "compact" machines and I am so tempted to try one. We eat about a loaf every other day... if anyone has tried and is happy with a compact bread maker, please, let me know!
I’ve had my Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf since 2016 and I highly recommend this brand. I like the French bread recipe the best. I use it a lot to make pizza dough. Just this past weekend, I made dough for hamburger buns this week.
I’ve been looking at bread machines. While I love making it myself, my arthritis has gotten worse. Have been trying to figure out what I want in a machine. Thank you so much!
Love fresh bread! Being 100% Sicilian I grew up on sliced bread and italian bread.. still love it. My husband thinks I'm nuts when I just eat bread and butter for a snack lol ❤ Thanks for the bread chat Jess 😊 Hope you get power soon!
When bread machines first came out, I got one and loved it. My kids were small then. A favorite was a peanut butter bread. I would also make pizza dough in it. It died after years of using it. I have a smaller machine today but hardly ever use it. I need to start using it.
Ohhh I love this! I make homemade bread - but more as a treat because making by hand is a longer process. You given me a lot to think about. Thank you! BTW - glad you and yours are surviving post-Helene!
I just got a second hand bread maker- Phillips that’s normally around $400- $500 for $125 for ma birthday!!! I bought this bread machine book also as I loved that it has the calories listed for every loaf!! I’ve made the basic bread, garlic & herb, banana and coconut & the lemon poppy EVERYONE loves them!!!! I found keeping the loaves in my fridge they last longer and toasting them is terrific after the freshness has waned!!! Great video thank you!!!
I’m thrilled to find out you have and actively use the same bread machine recipe book I have 🤯 I bought a machine this year and I’ve fallen off using it with how busy we’ve been, but there’s not much an excuse not to when it takes so little active time to do. Thanks, as always, for a wonderful video!
❤ i made bread yesterday with the sandwich bread recipe that you shared. I did buy a bread machine that I have not yet used but I have been making bread! I’m going try the machine soon!
I love my Zoji. They are pricey, but my first one, which I inherited from my Dad, lasted him probably 10 yrs, and at least that long for me, until it got damaged in a fire. I bought a new one that I fully intend to leave to my kids when I'm gone. I doubt you'll have any issues with your Zoji, I never have. I make all kinds of bread/dough, even traditional loaves, but I use the dough cycle and bake in the oven. BTW, if you can find a copy of an old book called Bread Machine Magic, it has some amazing recipes. Oh, and in regards to the over risen loaves, use less yeast. I only use 1.5 tsps, no matter what the recipe says.
I have sourdough starter and haven't made fresh sourdough in that way. But we also have a bread maker and I make a loaf every week or two. I was just saying I need to break it out and make another loaf. I love the fact that we're not using or ingesting crappy ingredients and making our own bread. Thank you for this video and I really want to look into the book.
We had a machine when I was a kid. It made round loaves that looked like the coffee can bread you sometimes see around the holidays. For me, it was useless. I actually like kneading the dough and watching it rise (while I do other things) but it can be a handy tool for someone that is really busy!
The round ones have evolved to the square one. I'm disabled, so kneading is out of the question. So glad that you enjoy that part. I'd love to make cinnamon rolls from scratch, but I can't stand there long enough to do all of the steps.
I was having problems with my homemade bread starting to mold after 2 or 3 days but recently, I’ve been getting at least 5 days out of a loaf. There are just 2 of us and it takes us several days to go through a loaf of bread. Plus, I enjoy making bread and bake pretty frequently. Anyway, I have begun using 50% milk and 50% water for the liquid in the recipe. I also use softened butter for the fat instead of oil. I make 2 loaves at a time - eat 1 fresh; put the second in the freezer. My substitutions definitely make for a softer sandwich loaf and the bread is staying fresh several days longer. I use the same recipe for rolls and hotdog/hamburger buns. I should add that I make my bread by hand with the help of my KitchenAid mixer - I don’t have a bread machine.
Great video on bread machines.. mine only cost $79 Australian dollars at Kmart and it works a treat.. be it is a small loaf pan (I didn't know that they came in a bigger loaf size) it works so well I brought my 83 year old mum one too. I will be having a look at the Bread machine book to change up the types of bread to make.
I love the fact that I have a bread making machine to back up my regular baking. Thanks for recommending the cookbook I am ordering it now. Glad you are safe and sound too!!
❤ I was gifted a bread machine that was crazy old, but after finding the manual online I realized I still couldn’t get it to work properly. But your recipe from Amanda is fabulous! I use glass loaf pans and go crazy making loaves when I have the time. 😂
My husband bought me the nereteva machine and i love mine. Mine has a crust option though for a light, medium or dark. I also have that book and use the same recipe 😋.
I bought the cookbook bread machine recipes! I love the Harvest Loaves because you use what ever fruit or vegetables you have on hand. You can substitute for apples; 2 cups shredded carrots & 2 Tbsp. grated orange rind. or 2 cups shredded zucchini squash or 2 cups shredded sweet potatoes. HARVEST LOAVES - APPLE RAISIN LOAVES Mom's Favorite Recipes Ingredients: 3 eggs 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 cups chopped unpeeled apples 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp.Vanilla Ingredients: 3 1/3 cup flour 2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. ground cloves, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 2/3 cup chopped nuts, 2/3 cup raisins Recipe instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans 9 x 5 x 3 inchs. Beat eggs, oil, apples, sugar and vanilla; on low speed. Add everything else. Pour into loaf pans. Bake 55 to 60 minutes. Refrigerate left over bread. Can substitute for apples; 2 cups shredded carrots & 2 Tbsp. grated orange rind. or 2 cups shredded zucchini squash or 2 cups shredded sweet potatoes.
Ummm the absolute timing of you putting this video up! I just scored an old bread machine for free. Came to look at your bread recipe to compare to others. Glued to this info now
😋😋😋😋 That looked sooooo yummy 🤤. I wish I had room to have/store a bread machine. I remember when I was younger my mom making bread to take to the Moose Lodge for the women’s bake sale. It smelled so good. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Jess for sharing this video. I will use my bread machine several times a month. Especially when I don't have time to spend Kneeling rising shaping and rise again 😮 I would be Especially interested in a Sourdough recipe for the bread machine. I am starting Jill's, Otis recipe as I left my old one in the fridge too long during harvest season. Thanks again ❤for sharing 😊
I love bread machines! The one I got 25 years ago at a garage sale just died but, the one I got 15 years ago at a thrift store is still going strong. I like to make bread crumbs out of the dried out ends in the food processor for meatloaf or casserole toppings!
We bought a Zojirushi quite a few years ago - looks different from yours, but same type of container. We have used it almost every week to make lovely gluten-free bread for my husband who has an allergy to wheat and dairy proteins. Now that my arthritis is becoming more of a problem, I am starting to use it for my whole wheat. They really do work well and make fine loaves of bread.
I have bread machine and havent bougjt bread in 4 or more years. My shoulders are no good so this works well for me! I love my homemade btead but cant knead it anymore. U can use this to make, knead and do the first rise for cinnamon rolls and alot of other things! There are some good recipes on Pinterest too!
I love my bread machine!!! I used it originally to learn how to bake bread. Once I felt comfortable with the process then I moved to using my stand mixer to mix the dough and followed the more traditional process. I still use it occasionally though not to bake bread in it any more. I just mix it and let it rise and then bake in the oven.
Jess Your new RUclips channel is very good and I will say when you have something new to put up on your new RUclips channel you explain it very well. I'm proud of you for that. A lot of people don't do that on their RUclips channel Jess I like it that you are very informative on what you present in your kitchen on your new RUclips channel that you have and the one that I'm watching is about making bread in two different size bread machines and you're explaining it very well. I'm very proud of you on that Jess keep up the good work and don't stop anytime soon doing that Jess this is why One of your subscribers loves your channel, the farmers table and I watch it every time you put up. New new video for the farmer table. I've learned a lot from you on the various kinds of food that you prepare on your channel. I'm proud of that now Jess thank you now Jess😁❗❗❗
This is perfect timing! I’ve literally been looking into buying a bread machine this week because I really want to start making homemade bread. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Jess! I was literally just searching RUclips an hour ago for this very thing, and that very bread maker. As always, I appreciate you and all you do- thank you! ☺️
I bought a Neretva in Jan, the sister model of what Jess has here, with a few less options. And I bought that same recipe book because the reviews of the machine said the one it came with was really bad (and it is). Mine does a very good job making sandwich bread, but it did come with a flaw. The wiring is correct, but the digital screen is from its sister machine. So, instead of choosing my bread weight by highlighting "750g" or "1000g," I have to highlight the "time delay" icon or the "stir rest" icon. This company is known for having really weird flaws in a good number of their machines and the return process is a nightmare (they may not even refund or exchange sometimes). I knew that going in because it was ALL OVER in the reviews and decided to take the risk cuz it's so gosh darn cute! 😊 Well, once I figured out (after days of feeling stupid and deep research) what the problem was, I decided it would be easier to live with that one issue than try to exchange it for a new one. The instructions have a reference of what the icons are supposed to be, so there's no guess work. I love it, probably won't ever buy it again. Read the reviews. Again, the No-Fuss cookbook, fantastic. I did make one change to the basic white bread recipe to get a smoother top to my loaf: add a tsp of baking powder on top of the flour (very important or the salt below the flour will immediately react with it and you will lose the whole point) when I put the yeast in.
I have had a couple that I really liked. I believe both are now obsolete, I wish they weren’t. The first was an American Harvrster which made two loaves at a time. My husband had major food allergies and I was unable to buy bread he could eat at that time. I wore it out. Then had a toaster oven that was also a bread machine. It was so convent. I now back by hand or buy as I can now purchase bread he can eat. However I really miss both of those, wish they still existed.
I have that neretva machine and I use the heck out of it! Sandwich bread, pizza dough, French bread(I have a French bread pan &bake in the oven), rolls. The “Toast Dough” setting is great for kneading and rising. I always set the crust to dark on my machine otherwise it doesn’t bake all the way.
I have a KBS pro from Amazon and I've had it for a year and made MANY loaves of bread in it. It's under $150 +/-. Right now there's a $20 off coupon. I've been very happy with it and have had no problems. I liked it because it has a horizontal loaf pan for a traditional look, 2 paddles, and 3 loaf sizes. I buy Azure Standard organic all purpose flour in a 25lb bag, keep it in a Buddeez 32qt food storage and dispenser container from Sam's club $14. When I make a loaf of bread, I'll add 1Tbs vital wheat gluten per 3 cups flour. This brings the "all purpose" flour up to the protein content of "bread flour" and gives you a much fluffier high rising loaf. Well worth it! Some recipes, or tricks, also suggest 1 Tbsp of vinegar for a better rise. I use this if I'm using whole wheat or rye to help from getting a dense texture. You can't taste it at all. Be aware that your bread CAN BE influenced by a very humid day, rainy day, or very cold room. That's the only time I've had a loaf I wasn't happy with. I also measure out my flour in a separate bowl because I tend to forget how many cups I measured😂 because I'm ALWAYS doing too many things at once and it usually involves kids😂
I love using my bread machine to mix and do the first rise. Then I punch it down and put in the pan I want to bake it in for the 2nd rise. I've had the best bread success this way.
I've had that cook book for 2 years, it's great. My very basic bread machine lasted 30 years! I still use it to make dough but it no longer bakes. It's a Sunbeam and was $30 back in the day. Lol.
Thank you for mentioning looking for it in resale. I bought a really nice bread machine, though it's a smaller one, for $9 at a garage sale! Talk about affordable!
So glad you shared this! I haven’t had a machine for awhile and have been thinking of getting one again. I’m about to order one! As always, thx for the inspiration ❤ Donna Jean

I would love a gluten free bread video! Thank you $8.00 is to much for a loaf. So glad your family is safe!❤❤❤
I go to Sam's 2 loaves for $9. But a recipe would still save so much money!
Agreed! I’d love a video. I just know fresh is best, so I’d like to bake my own instead of buying.
My brother-in-law needs to eat gluten-free, and my sister likes to bake bread, so I would be grateful if you would post your gluten-free recipe.
Can you post a picture of yours, please? 😊
@ I don’t think I can on RUclips but it’s a cuisinart compact bread machine CBK-110 series according to the recipe booklet
Thank you! @@sadiejane244
Also Aldi sales them from time to time I bought mine from there for $50

I would love to hear how you make gluten free and sourdough in the bread machine! I now have to be gluten free and have not been able to master either of those 🥲
Hang in there, it gets easier. Celiac diagnosed about 15 years ago.
Love this!
I went through 9 bread machines in the 17 years I home schooled and never baked in them.
I am sobbing as I read this because my nana passed away this week. Make the bread and remember your nana fondly. Sending you the biggest hugs ❤
@@growingagreenthumb4420 sending you big hugs back! Grief can be rough but I hope you have support and amazing memories. Take care of yourself.
I have had my Zojirushi machine for 30 years, never an issue with it at all. Love it.
Thank you, thank you!!! Just received the cookbook and looking forward to diving back into bread making. How do you store your bread once it’s done?
Thank you so much for the video. I was just actually using my bread machine tonight to make garlic bread. On a sidenote, I also have that bread book and it’s great. I took the book to a printing place and had it spiral bound with the clear cover on the top Because I knew I’d be using it often.
I made this 1.5 lb recipe in a Breadman plus bread maker from 1994 today and it worked great! Thanks Jess!!!
TY
@@KILO-uv2wi I don’t use Pullman pans but I do bake mine in the oven in regular bread pans.
Thank you! I just ordered the cookbook on Amazon. Currently on sale for $6.92! Be here tomorrow!
Hope you like it!
PS I bought this book with my Oster in 2022 and it’s awesome.
I have the same machine from Zojirushi and the cook book and havent bought bread in three years!!! Love both
I love my bread machine. I have Zoji from almost 15 years ago now maybe longer and it’s a work horse and no issues.
Absolutely all types of bread freeze wonderfully!
It’s a great way to preserve them and they thaw very fast too (less than 20 minutes.)
I’ve been doing it for years!
I love 💕 my bread machine!!! I went on Amazon and grabbed the book because it’s on Prime early access deal!!!!!
I made your sandwich bread by hand recipe. My first time making it. It was so helpful to see you make it first. Turned out great! Thank you.
Thank you for sharing the recipe book. I’ve made the basic bread at the beginning of the book. It’s so good!
My instant pot came from a thrift store for $15. Love that thing.
I’d love to see the GF bread machine recipe!
Yes to gluten free bread machine recipes.
I'm thankful that you have given us a breadmachine book. Thankyou again so very much.
I have the “z brand” I can never remember how to say or spell it lol love that it can do 100% whole wheat. My daughter picked up one for $25 used!!!!
Holy smoke. That's a great deal.
@@kathymc234 I know! I paid full price for mine brand new and couldn’t believe when I saw someone selling it for so cheap!
I just bought the book for >$7 it will be here tomorrow! Thanx for the video & the book. I plan on using my machine more after watching this.
Love bread machines .. got basic type 2nd. hand! newer one.. also has a jam setting.. that was game changing ❤
Thankful you and your family are safe! I would love the gluten free recipe!
Love fresh bread! Being 100% Sicilian I grew up on sliced bread and italian bread.. still love it. My husband thinks I'm nuts when I just eat bread and butter for a snack lol ❤ Thanks for the bread chat Jess 😊 Hope you get power soon!
Would also love a gluten free bread recipe! And possibly a beef tallow recipe? Love love love your content Jess!❤
When bread machines first came out, I got one and loved it. My kids were small then. A favorite was a peanut butter bread. I would also make pizza dough in it. It died after years of using it.
I have a smaller machine today but hardly ever use it. I need to start using it.
Use that pizza dough to make Indian flatbread. After you fry it, brush on butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Delicious.
Ohhh I love this! I make homemade bread - but more as a treat because making by hand is a longer process. You given me a lot to think about. Thank you! BTW - glad you and yours are surviving post-Helene!
Yes, please! Will you share the gluten free recipe? I didn't know that was possible. So cool!!
I’m thrilled to find out you have and actively use the same bread machine recipe book I have 🤯
I bought a machine this year and I’ve fallen off using it with how busy we’ve been, but there’s not much an excuse not to when it takes so little active time to do.
I should add that I make my bread by hand with the help of my KitchenAid mixer - I don’t have a bread machine.
i have the cheaper one and have for over a year. it has become my best friend.
this has been on my mind so much. Bread is so intimidating, but was easy. Just did it!

My mom goes to the moose lodge!
Thank you Jess for sharing this video. I will use my bread machine several times a month. Especially when I don't have time to spend Kneeling rising shaping and rise again 😮
I would be Especially interested in a Sourdough recipe for the bread machine.
I am starting Jill's, Otis recipe as I left my old one in the fridge too long during harvest season. Thanks again ❤for sharing 😊
Oh yeah, just found your channel and you have such trustworthy vibe. I subbed and thanks for the video!
i LOVE zojirushi and didnt know they had a bread machine ! thanks jess, I'll definitely be getting one
omg that's the book I have!! It really is so great! I've got an Oster Expressbake
I’m so glad you are safe! I was wondering if had gotten power back. Prayers it will be restored soon! 🙏🙏
I love bread machines! The one I got 25 years ago at a garage sale just died but, the one I got 15 years ago at a thrift store is still going strong.
I like to make bread crumbs out of the dried out ends in the food processor for meatloaf or casserole toppings!
I use the timer function so the dough or cooked bread is ready for the morning. Works well, love homemade bread.
Do you have any hints or which settings you use ? Flour you like ? Appreciate any hints. I too am GF and cow dairy free.
I bought that book when I bought my bread maker 2 yrs ago! Love it!!
I’ve been waiting for this video!!! 🎉🎉🎉 thank you!
I have the Toastmaster machine and it has worked great for me for over 5 years!!
Jess, you always give the best demonstrations. I feel like I’m smelling fresh bread in my house! lol I love both your videos. Thank you!
This is perfect timing! I’ve literally been looking into buying a bread machine this week because I really want to start making homemade bread. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Loved this! Time to get my bread machine going again.
Jess! I was literally just searching RUclips an hour ago for this very thing, and that very bread maker. As always, I appreciate you and all you do- thank you! ☺️
Davids wife) good timing! I just got a bread machine but I’m wanting a recipe with fresh milled grain.. i will check that book and see. Thx
Love this one! I have this book 📖 and now I will make bread with confidence. Thank you!!!
Lol.
Burgled is a fun word to say!! Totally getting this book and dusting off my cuisinart bread machine!!!
