after watching this video like 3 times, it's clear that Polyphonal Digital were on a whole other level than all other PS2 developers. enhanced emulation really allows us to see what a beautiful game they created on PS2 hardware. wow.
man the ridiculous fov, which makes it more difficult to see the imperfections, occasionally makes it look like it could have been a game released today. It was nice to have experienced games at a time when the devs were dedicated to use tricks to get them perfectly done, instead of now where every studio gets caught up in stupid details and make a game that was a decade in development still feel rushed.
