It s very interesting . Regarding the fact i am Belgian-Turkish ,from Wallonia. It shows the complexity of people s identities and identities can not be reduced to one element .

Eda Arslan - It’s a live version of the song “Deze stad” (“This City”/“Bu şehir”) from the album “Deze stad” (2011) by Gent-based Turkish musician and songwriter Mustafa Avsar.

learn the language of your adopted country. Teach your children to obey the law and go to school. Keep your culture, but agree to disagree with those of a different cultures. Be happy. That is that is to be integrated.

Still you do that it isnt enough to some, with integration they mostly mean assimilation.

There will probably be a few mean people with hard hearts where ever you go, but most of the people are good people with good hearts. In Germany, cury wurst is very popular food. In Canada the young Muslim children are going to hockey practice and some Muslim boys are the fastest on the team. God is watching you. If God is with you, who can be against you? Trust in God. God is great. Diversity is good. One of Frances best soccer players of all time was Zinedine Yazid Zedane.

It is not being muslim or turkish ether, few months back i watched a documentary about italian immigrants in belgium, On paper they shouldnt have any troubles but no they had. What i also want to say is, mean people are as you say "few" but the media played in this a very big role, if you watch old tv reportages about immigrants you can see the disgusting approach of the media to those "alien" people are but thankfully it softened within time and so the general approach of people towards those.

Kaan Erdem , Have faith in God. God will punish those that do harm to those that follow him. My grandfather was being born in Rome when my great-grandfather and his brothers were in Ellis Island looking for the prospects of starting a new live in a new country under the newly built Statue of Liberty. This country was built on diversity. It worked for us.

Europe is always mandating that from other cultures. Why do Turkish people need to integrate into Belgium's society? Why can't Turkish people be given the freedom to define their customs and practice it in the way they love? Great documentary, by the way.

Funny people these Turks. It is everywhere the same. Belgium,Germany,Netherlands,Austria. They talk how nice Turkey is and how they will go back and this is better and that is better and so on and yet they spend their entire life in western Europe and dye there whilst talking about Turkey. Somehow sad, but somehow funny.

@@johnybecool2810 Jeah, most turks here in belgium are bragging about how good turkey is and how bad belgium is.
They even brag about the turkish army and how they will do everything for turkish army.
As soon as they become 18 they need to go to the army in turkey or pay 10 000 euro fine :d, offcourse they pay the 10 000 euros fine instead of going to their country of love and join 1 of the best armies in the world.
