Best video you ever did. We are spiritual beings in a physical body. I know just like you know. For over 2 years now. The Cherokees know, the Hopi know. We just have to quietly do what we do. I love the blue glass. I'm 66 and both my grandmother and great grandmother have left their wisdom and legacy with me. Im learning canning, have nothing to can. But I have seeds. I have arthritis in my knees so I'll have to make raised beds. I will. People around me think I have lost my marbles for buying a rain barrel..and buying extra food. I'm staying my course. Buying heirloom seeds. Doing it. Thank your for your lovely video, it was beautiful. We're feeding our kids and grandbabies come hell or high water. Rice and beans, oatmeal, potatoes will help keep their belly full. God bless you and your family. 🍎 🍏 🍎 At cha !

My grandpa was born in 1900. I am 65 and when I was around 10 years old I can remember hearing him have a conversation with my uncle and Grandpa saying, there will come a time when you have to guard your garden. For some reason that stuck with me for life. I think the good Lord meant for that to stick with me for life. My grandma was Cherokee Indian raised in the Hills of Oklahoma. Her calm spirit is what I always remember about her. No matter what happened she ALWAYS remained calm and used wisdom. Anyone that is in tune with God and nature should feel what is coming. I don’t have to turn on the news (which I don’t) nor do other research to know in my core being bad times are coming. Look at the sky and ask yourself does this sky look like it did when I was younger. Is it that bright vivid blue with beautiful white clouds. Has there always been a haze around the sun and moon? Watch the animals and their behavior…times are changing and growing seasons are changing. Make haste while you can, most importantly start with your spirit and God…he will direct your paths. Love and blessings!

@SheilaAshley - yup, that’s it - feeling it in our “core”. I’ve called mine “the still small voice” that has provided guidance thru my years. It’s never been wrong for me. I’ve heard it said that thoughts/ideas that occur “from the neck up” can be wrong or misleading. Can be influenced or lead astray. But the gut? That inner wisdom is always correct. It’s not fearful. It’s just solid guidance. Brava for YOU to be tuned in! Thanks for your post.

I don't recall a time in my life when I wasn't mocked. Ridicule forced me to develop myself physically, mentally and spiritually until I had become impervious to mocking. Confidence, purity of intention and humility have shielded me for over a decade now, but my waking up process began a decade before that. It's very reassuring to see half the population waking up.

What a blessing you are Patara and how blessed! I am opposite from you in that I never knew my mother and I was passed from home to home by my father until I was 10.
At 11, without warning my dad took me to an orphanage and pushed me up to the receptionist window and said "take her I don't want her anymore!" They didn't take me. Instead my father had to go to court and then one morning my father kept me home from school and late in the morning I heard footsteps on the stairs leading up too our second floor apartment. My dad told me "go get the box from under your bed and put whatever you want to keep into it and go with this lady." That was it! There was no forewarning, just GO! I went straight from there to a huge 3 story house which was a placement house full of kids like me. Life was hard after that. I wasn't the most well behaved child or adult either! That was 50+ years ago!
I did finally find my mother. I must have paced the floor for a week before picking up the phone to call her. Her first words to me that I remember where..."Oh I never wanted you! If abortion had been legal, you'd be dead right now!" I did want your sister though!" I stayed in touch with here for years and almost moved her from Michigan to my home. Actually it would have been her and my brother who contracted a sexually transmitted disease in Vietnam and didn't get treatment early enough and it ate his brain away. I knew that was way more than I could deal with but the fact that I was willing is a testament to God's ability to keep us through the hardest spots life can throw at us! Survivors aren't just born, they are forged in the fires of life! "That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
My point is. Gods grace is sufficient for what ever day we are living in! God must have thought, this child is going to be a hard nut to crack! 😂 He was right.
What you are sharing is correct, hard days are coming and we all need to draw wisdom and strength from those who have walked the path of learning and adversity. Our muscles grow by working them, our brains grow with both leaning and doing...not just by hearing! People can drink deep from your well Little Sister! I hope people who come here are not just hearing but doing as well. One will starve to death if they are trying to live off of words and good intentions alone!
None of us can save the world with the wisdom we've collected but we might save a few! If God brings people to your page and they will have a heart to receive, they will be better off for it.
Even scripture says-"He who has ears to hear, let them hear!" some folks just won't let there ears hear wisdom and some will hear but they won't listen!
I really loved your video today! There is a lot of wisdom out there to be gained and a lot of it is flowing from your stream and it too is crystal clear!
Hugs to you today young lady! Now...Where's that dern chocolate cake you keep going on about????😂😋😍🎂
PS..I'll be 69 this year and I just want to tell folks that if they will listen and do the things you are sharing as best as THEY are able to do,they will still be better prepared than most!
”Improvise, Adapt, Overcome, Forgive and Trust God" is how I made it!

A wise man once told me, "you are the only one that knows what's best for you to take care of yourself." I've always cherished those words and I honestly, until that day never thought of it that way. It's that little voice in us that pushes us to do the right thing. Thanks for your voice that pushes us to listen to it.

I had 11 various grandparents when I was born.
I had my great-great grandmother until I was about 5.
    I remember her vividly.
I had my great-grandma until I was in my 30s.
    They taught me so much.
    I miss them terribly.

I love that you felt the downed tree was a sign that you needed more wood. About 20 yrs ago I prayed for a source for firewood and the next day a dead tree fell into my yard from a neighbors yard. It fell perfectly as to not cause any damage. Coincidence? I think not !!!

Thank you Patera, I needed this today. I was at a memorial service for a relative yesterday and realized how out of step I have become in the world around me. I know why now. I need to keep going and drink from the clean mountain stream. I will probably not see many people there. It is hard to accept the state of the world. I have to stay true to my purpose and pray for everyone who does not see. Wise words.

So much wisdom from my Grandfather is coming back to me and I am forever thankful to have been raised to cook from scratch. We get things done slowly here because Hubby has a brain injury and I was born an addict and am mobility challenged. Much prayer and considering what needs to be done each day get us through. Thank you for your wisdom.

You are so right Patara! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, you may not be my elder, but pass along the words & wisdom of the elders. It's so sad for those you don't listen, don't have elders, who just don't know. My elders are all gone now. I miss my Aunt & Uncle they taught me so much on the farm, I'm so grateful to them. I listen to you and it helps me remember, and helps me to move forward the best way I know how. And you know what? I can't get over how many of the young people out there don't know how to cook from scratch! Growing up I remember our afterschool treat for something sweet was cinnamon toast. We didn't have cookies, cakes, candy. Those were for special times or once in awhile. I could go on & on, but Thank you once again for the reminders of what live should be about.

Im 56, raised by grandparents. When i was about 12 i remember my grandparents setting at the table talking about the great depression. I also remember them saying in their conversation that these kids, (meaning my generation), would face the opposite of what they went thru. They said that our generation will see the food in the stores but would not be able to afford it. Said these kids have to know how to make and grow their own food. Ya'll this was in the early 70s! Tell me that the older generations don't know what they are talking about and i will slam dunk you! Everyone that cares about their families better step up or they will regret being in denial. I also heard them say much more but i think you get what im trying to say here. This lady is on cue! Pay attention and take her advise. She is not blowing smoke!!

Patara, someday we will be the Elders. When my 6 year old granddaugher was 2, I started teaching her how to garden and cook. If it's the last thing I ever do, I'm going to teach that child how to grow her own food and how to prepare it. Last week, she facetimed (with help from her Daddy) me and asked me to mail her some lettuce seeds to plant. My heart melted.
