Not really. If you want to support her, it's better to say it that way. It's not a case of everything was part of the plan, she had a monotonous way of acting and not only in that scene. In similar comedic scenes of "flirting for the 1st time", it goes that way with the overacting parts and exaggerated laugh, in her case, she delivered it in her same usual way, compare that to her "No!" about not wanting to hear a secret, near the end. Now, if someone is complaining specifically about what you said, then, yeah, they're on another page and missed what it was part of the scene.

her acting's getting better by the episode, she's really gonna make lily's character prominent in the coming episodes or the next season, for that matter
Her facial expressions need work but she's really very subtle and not at all awkward. You can tell she is really comfortable playing the role by the way she uses her hands. Notice how towards the end she didn't give Cam the pillow and he had to snatch it out of her and also she still reached for it after he had? That's what someone would do in a real life situation and she nailed it. I'd say she's a pretty good actress.

It’s funny, I met a kid I babysat a couple of times again and it became really obvious he had a crush on me. I have no idea why since I didn’t exactly dress up for the gig. It was sweet though. He really wanted to show me stuff he was doing and I was happy to see how much he’s grown up and matured from a kid who couldn’t wash the dishes into a responsible older brother.
