Hey, locochone. Bellows Kustoms does infact do some excellent work. Great channel, as you are too. Nice work on the C10. Hope your better half is coming along well.
I like Mike bellows work a lot. Also Karl at make it kustom. And Jordan, Bennett’s customs. And of course this channel. Over here we put jag front ends in trucks. The problem is finding good lhd racks. I got mine from Belgium. Looking forwards to episode two. How’s Shannon? My daughter is due in July. Her fourth boy. It’s not been an easy pregnancy as she has been so unwell. But it’s all worth it to have another little hot rodder helper as I get older. He will make number eight grandchild. Love the content keep it up.
I remember doing this to my 72 Chevy short box with you when you were in Edmonton. Didn’t c notch it though. We used blocks and cut the front springs. You did a great job on that truck. I regret selling it. Congrats on the shop on the island!
Good job Lee! We are doing a 55 Chevy Drop job in my shop right now. Mustang II front end and lowering Shackles with De-Arched Springs out back. I will keep this in mind if it needs to get LOWER!!!
Jim should not get those tired ass magnum wheels… tell Jim what he should really get is a set of wheels that would make his vehicle more gangster then anyone could possibly imagine… a set of all chrome 13x7” reverse Astro supreme wheels with 13” Kontio white paw tires with 1.5” white walls. His long term happiness will be unmeasurable. 💯💯💯
You guys doing a great job on these vehicles. It´s fun to watch and easy to understand. Well done. Looking forward to the next episodes. Got a new subscriber.
Have to agree with Tim Ferris's viewing choices, but I'd also include Brent at HalfAss Kustoms, and Matt at Iron Trap Garage. All you guys do spot-on work, without necessarily producing "show quality" vehicles. Drivability is the keyword [in my opinion]
Another enjoyable episode Lee 👍🏻 . $200 to $400 for an Explorer 8.8 ? here in the Fraser Valley they’re $400 to $500 . Sadly Pick a part in Chilliwack closed down , there you could get one for $200 . I got a good laugh at Jim for showing some attitude at the end there . Shannon must be ready to pop about now eh ? .
Like I mentioned at the beginning we’re changing the front suspension too, so it’ll be 5x4.5 all the way around now. Part two, coming out shortly, covers all the front
@@LGKustoms Of course, hopefully the budget but it is a great advance, and the position will be great! very good work, beautiful custom makes excellent modifications tmb... regards...
We swapped in an 8.8 in our 57 and wanted to know how did you end up hooking the parking brake cables up? And did you use the factory under dash ebrake handle?
@@LGKustoms thanks, I'll look into lokar I've read that the factory ebrake handle doesn't have enough leverage or something and doesn't work well, but wanted to see if you used the factory handle or upgraded
There is nothing wrong with an offset diff. Almost all rear ends are offset from the factory. This truck has a stock 8.8 from an Explorer and it fits great
I just watched this entire video good job!! And since real people should be Honest that music repeatedly gets really annoying, no disrespect intended I know you love it ..but over and over its painful..sorry I just turn the volume down till the end of the video.
Bello's Kustom's good place to learn tips and tricks Locochon !!!
Agreed. One of my favorite channels, and I learn little tricks from him all the time. Especially dance moves
@@LGKustoms and let out a "whoop" now and then!
Another great video.
Clean body on that truck and I wish your shop was closer.
Sweet Lee, look forward to more, cheers, Doug
Good work Lee, nice strong job. Look foreward to the second half!
Thanks

She’s coming along! Couple more weeks to go

Jag front ends were popular here in the 90’s. Shannon is coming along, couple more weeks
Now that looks interesting.
Bellos has sick fab skills definitely top notch. Niw you just need a personal LG kustom steel stamp.
I know! Every time he stamps something, I’m like “I need one of those!” Haha
@LGKustoms you have great content too.
Thanks for sharing always interesting!
very good video and build
Thanks
Cool
that is one beefy c notch i like it!!!!
Roast Beefy

Man you are so talented
Haha thanks

Great vid!!!!!!!! 👍👍
Nice job guys

Jim sold his van and bought a Toyota Tercel… 🤷♂️
Good craftsman, good explanation. Step by step , THANKS 👍
Thanks
about to start on mine ... i appreciate the knowledge

Cool! Thanks so much
Great job. Excellent explanations on the process.
Thank you!
You are working on my dream truck
Nice job! I'll be doing the same on my 55 GMC. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Great episode
I might have to do mine. I think it bottoms out on the frame when I launch it snd spins and hurts the 60’ time.
Nice video

Mike at this old hot rod. And for car show entertainment 37spiker. Take care.
awesome video!!!!!
Thanks!!
Lee you do great work! Nice C notch! Strong as BULL
Thanks Eric!
Awesome brother! great project!
Nice work on the C notch! I think it worked out very well! 😄
Thanks. Me too!

They’re out there, my marketplace search spans from Victoria to Chilliwack. Just gotta be patient.
I'm new to the channel I like your video btw where are you located
Thanks! We’re located in Victoria BC
It's crazy all my favorite channels are all in Canada besides 2 your definitely one of my favs
I'm from Gaffney SC
Damn good looking welds. Are you certified or just that good? I have seen some butchered up C notches in the past but you did it right...
Thanks. I’ve been practicing for 24 years.
Wacha doing about the different bolt pattern for the Rear wheels?
Like I mentioned at the beginning we’re changing the front suspension too, so it’ll be 5x4.5 all the way around now. Part two, coming out shortly, covers all the front
Hello!! excellent job, the final stance is going to be great on that 56' Chevy, are you going to build the bed floor too? greetings from Argentina
Andrew and I have chatted about a bed floor, but it’ll depend on budget as we near the end of this build
@@LGKustoms Of course, hopefully the budget but it is a great advance, and the position will be great! very good work, beautiful custom makes excellent modifications tmb... regards...
What kind of angle finder do you use?
I’m not sure what the brand is. It’s magnetic and has a little dial you turn until the bubble is in the middle
We swapped in an 8.8 in our 57 and wanted to know how did you end up hooking the parking brake cables up?
And did you use the factory under dash ebrake handle?
Lokar makes an adapter kit to hook regular cables up to the stock explorer calipers
@@LGKustoms thanks, I'll look into lokar
I've read that the factory ebrake handle doesn't have enough leverage or something and doesn't work well, but wanted to see if you used the factory handle or upgraded
What is wrong with the exhaust system that's in it now ?
Nothing at all. Andrew just wants to change it up. Exit in a different location, he’s added headers, and a different muffler choice.
@@LGKustoms OK thanks
You still got that exhaust?
What year Explorers are those 8.8 rearends from? I'm guessing they are close in width to original.
Late 90’s if you want disc brakes. Early 90’s for drums.
I'm looking to run a Ford 8.8 on my 58 Apache. Should I shorten the long side to center the diff or run it offset. What's your opinion?
There is nothing wrong with an offset diff. Almost all rear ends are offset from the factory. This truck has a stock 8.8 from an Explorer and it fits great
@@LGKustoms Awesome, I've heard so many different opinions. That's exactly what I'm going to do is the Ford 8.8 from the explorer. Thanks for the info
Hey Lee, would you be willing to cut that notch and then sell/ship to the US? I have a 58 Apache that I'm going to need to notch like that.
Yes I would. Send me an email lgspeedkustom at gmail.com
Why are most c-notches so much bigger? Is it because they’re for bags and this one is keeping the leaf springs?
That’s a great question. I’ve never understood why people build them so big.
8.8 I feel. A gutteral drain
I’m not sure what this means
Lokochon!
👍🖖
Looks like you caught jim pissing on the front bumper at the end of the vid. Lil.
When you gotta go, you gotta go
I just watched this entire video good job!! And since real people should be Honest that music repeatedly gets really annoying, no disrespect intended I know you love it ..but over and over its painful..sorry I just turn the volume down till the end of the video.
Awesome video, great content and channel, but sure get tired of the head banging music that is playing.
It’s only rock n roll, but I like it
Some people don't like music because it so repeatedly
I try to do my best, but I’m a car builder not a video editor.
