Bob is...I'm speechless. He's just so good, so real. His style is like a finger print. You know when you hear it, it's Bob. Husker Du, Sugar, whatever, it's Bob and it's gold.
I've seen Bob in all three phases of his career Husker Du himself and sugar. All of them have been great and all of them are very distinct and different. Mixed in with weird interludes like modulate and Loud bomb
You know..... I am proud of this man for sticking to his guns and his music roots. When so many others have given up or died from their 90's stardom, he has persevered. I have so much respect. Congrats on this song and continuing to make great songs.
ALWAYS YOU APPEAR WITH BEST SONGS, YOU ARE A GENIUS! I would like to see you in Argentina. Here you have fans, there is even a good band (La rueda o el barco) that declares to be an admirer of Hüsker Dü
On impulse I bought a ticket to Europe what I heard they were going to be playing at a show there I believe pink pop. I went to a show in a college campus and I told people why I was there, they said they were really excited they were in town. When I told them I was from Vancouver were DOA was from and that I had seen them in Winnipeg and over the Border in Minneapolis we had a lot to talk about. Regrettably the film and photographs I took their all that stolen in a move 2 years later
They did reconcile before Grant passed, however. Thank God. When David Letterman was doing his final shows that would have been the perfect time for Husker Du to play one more time. Dave was a fan.
@@kencummings953 Yep, I did my joke fully aware! I'm a fan from the 80's! Always followed both! I'd liked a reunion tour! New albums..... who knows....
@Rf Na here's the thing with me. I spent most of the 80's in Europe. I was a laboratory technician in the army. You wouldn't believe the culture shock when i returned to the states. I never even heard of that group. I listened to a few tracks. Im not a huge punk fan. Seems like there was some clash or Ramones influence there. Im a guitarist, singer and i do mostly rock, blues, some folk and i do like 80's-90's alternative. The cure, the church, pumpkins etc
@Rf Na but wow, I listened to the husker Du song, " makes no sense at all" and again, that heavy rhythm guitar is punkish but also reminds me of just about any foo fighters song. Pick one. Im guessing this group influenced the fighters sound who started over 10 years later.
Is there anyone else finds these new Mould songs/videos depressing ? Like when your on Facebook and find out what some friend from high school is like now , twenty or thirty years later - and you think, I would just as soon Not have know the today version ? I loved husker, and even sugar. But I am not feeling this stuff at all. And where’s his fu*king band ? What is this ten seconds from the end bs ?
His new stuff has a lot of variety. There is more poppier stuff like this but there's plenty of references to his huskers sound on the latest and previous albums.
Ned Kelly Yeah I kind of meant more than just this song/video .....guess I’m just not a fan of his new stuff .....and that’s ok ......glad he still has a successful career
Bob Mould is an American treasure.
and a Berlin one as well
A World treasure actually...
That voice is like an old friend from better days coming back to visit. Still sounds great after all these years. Keep it going, Bob!

New music from Bob is always Sunshine Rock for me!
Loved him from the first chord I heard in the early eighties. Musically, this is a softened version of what Hüsker Dü did and that is hard to top.
As an early BM fan from the pre-Husker split, the chorus in this tune is one of his best - congrats Bob on a great song and a happy album!
I love the way he incorporates parts from his past in the video. And the song is a cracker as well!
Just beautiful Bob, keep making me happy.
Mmmm... Bob is still strong. I just love the man, his music, and his words. His book is wonderful, btw.
My love for this song grows with repeated listening

Goddamned did Bob leave us in NYC for Berlin? Sad. Used to love catching random DJ Mould in clubs!
Great new song from the mighty Bob
Interesting video too
Love that this video is "unlisted"...the paranoia is REAL!
This is super sweet

That drone!?
It's Grant Hart Ghost....... hunting Bob for the old days Grant and Bob's turmoil!
They did reconcile before Grant passed, however. Thank God.

"You are number 6".

Cool , bro
Great song...disturbing video...time to move to Portland Oregon.
Pocket Sand!
Isn't he retired from the State Comptroller's office?
A'HO ✊
Tops

Bob, you need to learn German :-)
Wow is this Trump's secret police
Sounds like a foo fighters song that didnt make it on the album, except with crappier vocals. Sorry, not a fan and thats my honest take.
That is because the Fighters aren't able to write Songs like this. Good lord, thanks

Oh dear, I can count at least ten "depressing" moments of Hüsker Dü! This is ridiculous
I like Bob but this video is juvenile and silly. It's by no means the best track on the album. either. Waste of money, overall.
