Everyone thought they were ugly then fast and furious came out and every Tom Dick and Harry started slapping body kits and neon lights on them and destroying them. Which is why they are hard to find unmolested. I'm 38 and still think they are ugly but to each their own.
Nice buy on the towels. I always stock up on supplies. At one time I had 2 pallets of windshield washer fluid and a pallet of shop towels/microfiber cloths because the place I went to had a sale. Basically the fluid was 59 cents a gallon and the cloths were 1.49 a pack.
Thanks for always going into detail on the technical side of things. This is something I've always loved about your channel that a lot of others on RUclips don't do
I had a DAP hatch with a b20v- cams, pistons, portjob, neptune... 217hp would do a lot to get it back. you should keep the OEM pb74p pain color. its amazing
Great job especially with an orbital buffer!! I only use my orbital for after wet sanding. The finish work with a long throw buffer is amazing when you learn the tricks to them. But great work!
Awesome job Trev! Few "tips", put some tape around the window seals, plastics etc to prevent the compound getting to them and mess them up. Also try to blow the pad often to get off the dried compound and to keep it clean from panel to panel. A mask also wouldn't be a bad idea so that you do not breathe the compound!
Need to do the valve cover wrinkle black like Ty said.... Just keep it all simple and clean, no emoji headliner or goofy stuff on this car. Keep your inner ricer tendencies off this one! Looking good, keep up the good work.
i watched the full thing! you did a great job! only thing i would suggest is they sell 1500, 2000 and 2500 grit pads for the DA as well. i did those three before compound and it saved me a ton of time on my last car.
love your work and it is cool to see you experiment with different grits to see were you need to ne at pre compound. I have been a long time follower. since the LS Drift 240. That said Please, Please, Pretty Please Finish the C10. I really believe you can turn it in to a bad ass truck
Great job 👍 I'm dealing with something similar now but I'm afraid to sand it, what it will do with the varnish. So I'm trying it with a paste so far, but the results are not what I would like.
What paper should I start with to smooth and then what paper should I go to before buffing. What can I do to get runs out. Also how many days do I have to wait to sand after painting for enamel.
That was an interesting test you did with the different grits and buffing. I always wondered how far you really need to go with hand sanding before you're just doing the buffer's work. You can really tell that first side looks better. It's like it's a richer and deeper color. The question now is, are all those guys who go to 3000 grit just wasting time?
Hey mate just a bit of a tip , with them 1000 grit sponge pads on the DA use them wet and keep a nice clean wet rag with you as you go wipe it down , you will not get pig tails that way and will cut heaps faster and also doing it that way it will keep it cooler less chance of burning through the clear coat
Trev I recommend you to take a clear coat thickness messurement(laser testers are really cheap and I use it every time I buy a car) on each pannel before doing this next time. So you dont risk getting to the paint or to know that the clear coat that remainds is enought to protect the paint for more than one year. Saludos desde Argentina
There was 4-5 coats of clear on each panel. It was sprayed with a full correction in mind. That’s the difference between a Maco paint job and a thousands of dollar paint job. Especially with the ceramic coat. It will be fine
In your opinion do you think it's worth tapping the the jambs up and the cowl hood opening...or cleaning immediately after each step.....or the nightmare clean up when your done with all the steps
Just curious, I use to build fiberglass gelvboat. Will the blue die we use hurt the paint.. We've used it on algrip paint..ivlknow blue car but won't it work on other colors with staining it to deep??
Trevors gunna be runnin 3 honda civics with spoon engines and he just ordered 3 t66 turbos with NOS and a motec system exhaust
Damn I got pinned LOL
Still wanna see the truck project finished! Can't wait to get my merch! Thanks again
I love older civics. My love for them started when I was super young playing need for speed underground 1 and 2
Scoop them up while you can! Good ones are getting hard to find already
Much love for 90's jdm but my addiction started with gran turismo
My love for them started when I realize parts are cheap, car insurance is cheap, u can make them fast for cheap and they are hard to kill.
@@ScrEwLoOseEJ8 agreed 100%

The great thing about having so many projects is that you have a lot of options for videos. Always look forward to your content.
you just made me fall in love with this blueish purple paint.
Don't question Trevor when it comes to paint.
C10,pleaseeeeee ( after you finish this Civic)

It's the original color. It was repainted
Youre an absolute beast doing that in one night! Well worth it though, the colours beautiful! Hat off to you Trev!

Great job Trevor! I'm enjoying the progress
Great work on the Honda civic
Can't wait for the S14 primer videos 😂
Hell yeah! 🙌🏼 excited to see this thing ripping through the mean streets!
THAT PAINT IS SOOOOO GOOD
You should clear wrap the bonnet and bumper... try and prevent stone chips! Really clean car👌👌
Great job especially with an orbital buffer!! I only use my orbital for after wet sanding. The finish work with a long throw buffer is amazing when you learn the tricks to them. But great work!
Really is a nice car, can't wait to see it with new set of wheels
Building this civic for time attack racing would be cool it would be good for mixing up the content
The hatch is definitely very nice like the paint and the overall look..
Awesome job Trev! Few "tips", put some tape around the window seals, plastics etc to prevent the compound getting to them and mess them up. Also try to blow the pad often to get off the dried compound and to keep it clean from panel to panel.

Looks like the exact color that my 05 Subaru legacy gt was in, loved that color!
Good Job, It is a lot of work.
Hell I have got at least 40 hours in custom door panels, and I still do not have a complete panel...
Love daily uploads!
Need to do the valve cover wrinkle black like Ty said.... Just keep it all simple and clean, no emoji headliner or goofy stuff on this car. Keep your inner ricer tendencies off this one! Looking good, keep up the good work.
Nice little score on those microfibers! I'm gonna check my walmart tomo!

That color is amazing! please try some bronze TE's on it! I think they'd look crazy good
That color looks so damn good.

Wow that was a great deal on those microfibers
What’s in the spray bottle is it just water?
Great job 👍 I'm dealing with something similar now but I'm afraid to sand it, what it will do with the varnish. So I'm trying it with a paste so far, but the results are not what I would like.
Looking good, cant wait for the skirts and trim

Damn you Trevor, got me looking on market place for civics....again. Haha
Trevor it turned out awesome but I wouldn't expect you to do any different on it especially now since you are definitely out daughtered lol👍
Civic looks great.
Looking really good so far
What happen with the truck ? Really wanted to see it
Just set it to the side for the moment. Will be returning to it
This half an hour video felt like a 5 minute one.
Proud of you Trevy!! You said roof, not ruff
Looks really nice. Excellent work. My brother has a red one of these. I’ve been debating about getting it from him or selling him my crv
What paper should I start with to smooth and then what paper should I go to before buffing. What can I do to get runs out. Also how many days do I have to wait to sand after painting for enamel.
When using DA gotta make you blow the pad off. Looks good
AmmoNYC - make sure to blow out your pads constantly
Motion - so once your pads clogged, you can flip it over
Different pad mounting system.
Larry uses Velcro style pads
I like you using a crv table i caught that ha so useful!
I want to see progress on the truck
It's on the list!
Doing my Civic now and never sweated so much!! I have vids too short ones....Brad

I'm wondering if you could show in more detail how you do the edges of the panels please Trevor
Go to walmart for 4 items comes out with 40....that's a regular walmart trip haha
Paint the outer edge of the front grille as well!
My buddy I used to work with in Missouri had a hatch exactly like this. Wonder if this is it!
Gold wheels!!
Detailing cars kicks your ass just as much as working on them lmao
Loven all the content bro
What about the light that you used Trevor
It looks amazing

Is that emilios purple rain?
Car looks great
In your opinion do you think it's worth tapping the the jambs up and the cowl hood opening...or cleaning immediately after each step.....or the nightmare clean up when your done with all the steps
Kind of obvious that Trevor has out grown this shed. Time to finish up those simple projects, make content and money and move into a big shed. !!!
