"Tsuranaru" can be loosely translated as “align” or “collaborate. The piece was written in the hope that koto players would come together through their shared passion for the instrument, and connect as one to build the future of koto music.
箏に携わる人々が、夫々に持っている箏音楽への強い愛情によって互いに手をとり合い、心を連ねてこの音楽の発展を願う姿勢から名付けたものです。

Thank you! Our next concert - it will be our 30th Anniversary Concert - is scheduled for July 5th, 2025 at Ōji Hall in Tokyo. We will be posting videos from last year's concert periodically over the next year.

If you search up “沢井忠夫“ on RUclips, you should be able to see the composer’s own recording of his pieces. Fortunately his recording of Mitsu no Paraphrase is there. It should be under the album with the number “5” in it. The song is split into its 3 movements there. but I recommend you don’t skip any of the movements at all, it is an amazing experience.
