The daughter is such a sweetheart🩷🩷 she is excited to be with her daddy, and she repeats everything he says, and is learning so fast after about farming and animals. I certainly enjoy her being a part of you videos.
Tyler, it looks like you have yourself a new little production assistant. And thank you for including your beautiful children in the video. We have eight grandchildren, and it does our hearts good to see the little ones helping mom and dad. May God richly bless FTR.
It was wonderful to see little Matty and his big sister, Maci. They are both so smart. It was so cute to see you, the dogs and the calves running and playing. Farm kids live the best lives. Learning young so many things. Maci did a great job protecting her little brother from the hot wire. Great little farmers.
20:32 as you go to lift each child up over the fence, you say "jump" and just as they start to jump, you lift. You'll find that they are much lighter/ easier to lift... The science has to do with: once an object is in motion, it's easier to keep it in motion. Not only will you be able to lift them over as they get bigger and bigger... but it's fun for the kids. It gave me a sense of helping/doing my part in the process. 💖🌞🌵😷
@@bevakathedementedraccoon , it really works, you might have practice as it's all about timing... You've got to start lifting as they start jumping... If you lift when they are on the downward side of the jump, they will be heavier as you'll be pulling against gravity. The other tip I can give is... Even though you have your hands under their arms, follow them down as they bend their knees to give you a really big jump and your hands will feel when they start upwards... That's when you start lifting. 💖🌞🌵😷
The bottle calves make for a lot of extra work, but they sure are great for FTR family content! That first Momma was pretty hyped up when you were tagging her calf...glad you got the job done safely.
Our first baby calf we had, Timothy, really thought he was a dog. They would chase each other around the house and sleep together on the porch. When it came time to reintroduce him to the cows, my Dad led him out to the pasture. Then, he stepped back behind the gate and closed it. The other cows were curious and came toward him to check him out. He then proceeded to bawl and hightail it outta there. Not realizing the bobbed wire fence was shut ran smack dab into it, cutting his little nose up! Of course, that got him a little more time at the house. He was such a good baby💙
I was laughing because it wasn't me dealing with them, but I sure was laughing at moving the bulls. 😂 My six-year-old still loves seeing all the calves (and honestly so do I.)
You said at beginning some videos are focused some are lots of things. I'm sure that's how a farmer's life is so enjoyed the lots of things video. Fun watching smoky and littles running with dogs. So good to see the kids enjoying time with dad and helping with the chores. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
So good to see the installation of the loader progressing and all the animals doing well. Calves joining the dogs in a bit of play was so cute. Love that the kids are helping out, too.
Love seeing the kids involved, they will never forget it. When my children were small we often spent time in what I called weeding parties, in our family garden. Today my youngest is 40 and all three of them often lament on those times favorably. Although we are not big gardeners anymore, we are still livestock and poultry producers, just lover the rural lifestyle I suppose. Thanks for sharing your days with us.
OMG! Macey & Matty are so cute helping you with feeding the calves & collecting eggs. Then Macey does your outro for you. It was so nice seeing Buddy again & seeing all the herd are doing so well.
What a great video, especially the later part in which you show your kids, your wife, the dogs, and the adorable bottle calves interacting together, learning, loving, and having fun. Keep up the good work!
You gotta get ur wife and kids in the shows more often it’s cute and makes it fun to watch thanks for the content relly enjoy it puts a smile on my face
You definitely put a lot of thought into your projects and activities. I know some people have been critical about this trait in the past, but anytime you see a comment along those lines in future, don't take it personally. I just came to the realization that the success you've earned since leaving your 9-5 is directly proportional to how much thought you do formulate. I've seen a lot of guys go under, or just barely hang on trying to ranch...and it's because they're from the "don't overthink it" crowd. My best friend unfortunately is from this group. I recommend your channel to him almost weekly, and I don't believe he's taken me seriously about watching how you do things. He was actually an ag teacher for about a decade, and now he's full-time on the ranch. He lost his father about 3 years ago and inherited the entire place. He's got so much potential to do some great things, but it makes me sad to see that he's barely hanging on. If he could just follow some of the methods and measures I watch you go through, and implement them, I believe he could begin to love this lifestyle once again. I don't believe he understands how blessed he is. Nonetheless, I'll keep sharing your ideas with him and hope for the best. You keep on kicking butt young man. I appreciate your channel the most. Strong work FTR. All the best.
Nice to see the green grass for the cows. Haven’t been watching your channel lately been to busy calving my cows. Good to see you have been keeping busy Tyler.
Your kids are so lucky. I grew up raising pigs for 4-H in Roseville. I really believe it had a lot to do with my work ethic. I wish I had farm property for my grandkids to grow up on.
Worked out great having two bottle babies! They have a friend❤ Smokey and Littles, how sweet. So great growing up on a farm, love all the experiences the kiddos get to have. Good stuff! Great video!
Surprised you didn’t try putting one of them bottle calfs on the cow that lost her calf. Prob would have been much easier with the new chute getting the calf to latch on. You have a beautiful family brother ! 🤘🇺🇸.
Great video….love the family interaction. Calves are looking good. Rivet’s offspring are definitely stockier although a mixture of colors. Should be interesting what the final tally looks like.
OMG! Your kids are just sooo adorable!!!! I love watching them with the calves and collecting eggs… they are very cute with that blond hair!! You must be so proud- I could see it on your face at the end of the video! You are doing a great job with those kids, Tyler! What a wonderful life they have being raised on a farm🐷🐓🐄🚜🐂🧑🌾🐔🐷🦙🌾🐄🐮 ❤❤❤ Lucy ❤❤❤
FTR kids are unbelievably cute, little ranchers in training!! Love the bottle calves...so fun to watch what goes with them. Grandpa would love how you're teaching your children.
Your babies are so cute!! Love their blonde curls! And they chose good names for the baby calves; Smokey and Littles! I'm glad Smokey and Littles are nursing their bottles good! Calli and Bellie are such beautiful dogs! You've done an excellent job training them to be good farm dogs! I bet the newer subscribers don't know you used to have another German Shepherd. If my memory serves me right, her name was Maggie. I think Bellie looks like Maggie did. Have a good weekend!
FTR, Great names for the bottle calves...your children will always remember these days with you and them doing the chores. I too was raised on Holstein dairy farm in Vermont in late 50's. Loved the life then and miss it today. The farm is the best educational system around for kids growing up. It is not easy to raise a calf and be told that it will provide food for the family. My calf was a twin and bottle fed. He was raised for freezer camp and he was beautiful...named him Terry. He was all black except for one white hoof. His sire was Colonial Farm Nankee Tobius. We got him from the UNH Farm and he was just over 2 yrs old.
Great job Tyler. I just Love seeing the Kiddos out assisting u and Mom with the Chores. They r just the Cutest ever. Callie is such a Great Farm Doggie and catches on fast, plus she can really run. Thank u so much for sharing and Keep Rocking.
Love the run down of how everyone is doing. Personally I love to see the kids but have been reading about parents pulling their children out showing them on the internet because of internet predators. I dont propose to tell other people what to do but will raise concerns. Love your channel !!!
Cows have a cleansing heat at about 10 days post calving. Not usual they settle on that one, but it happens. And yes, the hormones of having a bull around encourage cows to cycle. Love seeing all the new calves. Still waiting on mine. Those kids are adorable!!
I just started watching you and your beautiful family. I love everything you do in your ranch, I also grew up in a ranch and have fond memories. My brothers still live out in our parents land and are ranchers in south Texas. Your two kids are so precious! Beautiful wife. Thank you for sharing a little of your lives with us! Blessings to y’all. 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
Omg how adorable are your children? I remember when our two were small! Now I have a five year old grandson that has to help with everything! Lol I absolutely love your videos! Most the the time I will text people while watching the video in the top corner of my screen. Not yours! I will watch it and stop it if I have to and then come back! You do a wonderful job! 💜
Good looking calves. Buddy looks good. Guess you should call him Uncle Buddy. That calf with the unusual color, we used to call that color champagne in the Simmental cross calves.
"A little bit of everything" is why most of us love your channel!
Callie really loves being a farm dog you can tell she’s interested in everything you do
Yeah, I noticed that, too !!😅
Yep, its in their nature to work! Dogs are happiest when they are doing what comes naturally, and they have a purpose; what God created them for. 👍🏼
Love seeing the kids participate! They’re adorable. And the calves getting to run around too! ❤
Yuuup !! Your daughter will soon be able to do your opening AND closing intros to your videos, Tyler !!
The daughter is such a sweetheart🩷🩷 she is excited to be with her daddy, and she repeats everything he says, and is learning so fast after about farming and animals. I certainly enjoy her being a part of you videos.
The calf is so cute and telling its momma, he gave me an earring 😂 Love watching the family enjoying the farm life.
😂 funny !!
Tyler, it looks like you have yourself a new little production assistant. And thank you for including your beautiful children in the video. We have eight grandchildren, and it does our hearts good to see the little ones helping mom and dad. May God richly bless FTR.
OMG.. the hair on the baby!! She should be on the cover of todays farmer magazine! So fricken beautiful!!

Your kids are so darling
I luv seeing them in your videos
I’m excited to see more work for the new chute
Fantastic outro 😊! For everyone who says that the pipes are overkill I say they probably haven't had to tag a calf with an angry mother.
What a lovely life for your children!
What a great video, especially the later part in which you show your kids, your wife, the dogs, and the adorable bottle calves interacting together, learning, loving, and having fun. Keep up the good work!
