    Watching OKC as a fan, it feels like I’m watching team basketball and it’s refreshing. Over the years the emphasis has been on teams to have superstars but this team plays team basketball and I’m glad about it

      I just surprised to see how young boys really let their ego and fill the role. Thats what happens when suns or clippers in cancun. They have too much former superstars who only play when they got the ball. Okc surprisingly knows how to talk to their core.

      He said that because three teams in the West finished with an identical W/L record. And one of those is the defending champs, which is getting stomped on by the Timberwolves 2-0. You may as well put OKC at #3 and it wouldn't matter OKC is a strong team. They just keep getting better and better.

      Honestly I think it worked out in the best way for him. Clippers probably weren't gonna utilize him to his full potential. But that Clippers squad was nice and was one major piece away from being a top contender imo. They were how the Knicks are now (without a Jalen Brunson). Scrappy with hard-nose defense and variety type of role players.

    Safe to say...the days of players creating superteams with other star players is over...all these teams left in the playoffs grew together not just jump to teams with their buddies...Lakers Suns Bucks Warriors Clippers were heavy favorites begining of season cus of their stars...now they all swimming in Galveston😂

      The previous generation of players kept team hopping. I think the new kids prefer not to, which is great for this league's future. Your team is part of your brand. We know Barca for Messi and Madrid for Ronaldo. The future is bright for the NBA

      @@IcePhoen1x694 You misunderstood. Having just one big guy on the floor is still small ball. Most teams play alot without even a center on the court. OKC and Wolves proving thats not true basketball. Bulls were considered small ball yet they had proper big center in Longley, they had Rodman and Pippen and by todays standards thats not small ball. Also defense seems to be making a return. I was never on Jokic hype train because he doesnt have opposition. Its easy to dominate when you have Hachimura and Lebron guarding you. Look what happened when he encountered proper big men defense in Wolves... Thats how basketball used to look. Only PG and SG were small players, the rest were tall and strong.

I still agree with everything you said though, just wanted to add to your points. Connelly built the Nuggets and he has built the wolves using same blueprint.

      Technically, they are tied with some win/l record as Denver. They slid into #1. And Minnesota is only behind one game. One win less than the two teams. Technically they're #1 in the West, but not by anything worth noting. Are they a strong team? Yes.

    Luka's just not moving right.
    Initially, even with the bum knee, he was bully balling and scoring on Lu Dort, until he fell and then it was all downhill from there and with Kleber gone, Luka absolutely has to hit those 3s. He's just not getting the lift with that knee bothering him.

      Luka already doesn't have much lift. He's not athletic and we all know that, but he needs to get healthy again. It's definitely bothering his mobility.

    Refs were really confusing this game. Called a tiny shove and gave sga an and1 before half. Which was a really weak call, but second half they let both teams play a little more physically.

    I don't think we understanding what's happening, and I wish there guys would say it, teams that are going far are playing as a team not big 2 or big 3 ball that type of chemistry has been lost because there only one ball. If you look at those team wovles and okc or even new York....look at the hustle stat that one get credit for, they pass,run extra pass, rebound, leaps, slide, double team, full court press all day ....that the shift of the league it's team ball and especially for this Finals run ....could we calls Jordan bull A big 3 or big 2 not really and really but they all scrap and all had the assignment for a mission

Kyrie is one of those players people overlook due to the media narrative but even when you watch the Cleveland Championship Documentary you hear Lebron himself actually lift Kyrie high in the heavens for winning that series for Cleveland. Actually heading into the playoffs no team matched what Dallas was doing but no talk of this and this is all because "ye are all sheep" and the "media is the shepherd". Now all of a Sudden its OKC vs Wolves, overlooking what Denver has done and can still do and that Kyrie and Luka can just go off and that's it.

    For the Mavs Luka and Kyrie are going to get their numbers. That’s not a problem. The problem is can the Mavs consistently rely on their bigs? With Gafford and Washington they have to consistently play at a high level for the Mavs to even have a chance in this series.

      Agreed. They have Lively, PJ Washington, and Gafford. Gafford had 5 blocks. I think he's doing it. The rest need to have some grit and play harder. Minnesota figured it out to stop Jokic. Mavs will need to do the same with Chet. Problem with Chet, he isn't going to score 30 easily, but he'll give you 20 and kick out the ball 5 to 10 times to the perimeter. This opens up the court for Jaylen Williams and others to shoot 3s wide open.

    As soon as i seen the Clippers trade SGA I knew they messed up. I wanted the Raptors to draft him but Charlotte beat them to it then traded him to the Clips.
