This is awesome..props to Springfield for bringing this out, and glad to see aftermarket support. I picked up an Aero lower recently, and local shop had the SA-35 - I think the stock trigger is really, really nice for a $700 gun - I can imagine what the Apex one feels like. Didn't realize they also did a magwell and extended mags! Great setup!
I am SO going to get the SA-35 as soon as I'm financially recovered from buying XDM Elites in 9 & 10MM....
I'm pretty happy with everything on my sa35 with the exception of the thumb safety it needs to be more positive comeing off safety. Comes off safe too easy. The spring or detent need work.
Great video!. 3.9 pound is still hefty for my taste(comp gun) is there any other way to make the trigger lighter? Also how does the reset compare to other platforms? Thanks!
Certain gunsmiths like Terry Tussey will drill a new pivot point through the slide, and install a new sear lever with a longer front bar to exert greater leverage on the sear release. I turned that down as I didn't loke major operations. I asked to just do what his gunsmith could do without such drastic re engineering. He got my Browning High Power down to about 4, removing the mag disconnect and polishing the sear, and new hammer. Terry has passed away, and the shop is runned by his protégé, Kevin Smith.
Can you mix other parts? Like a no bite c&s ring hammer? Or are the parts specifically fitted to each other?
Does this kit affect the reset? The stock trigger reset is barely-perceptible.
Why aren’t you a competition shooter?
Where did you get those grips?
Oem mags still work?
Nooooope! Also, their 19-round magazine is $65 + tax + shipping. No thanks. The 15-rnd magazines are good enough for me.

Two letter “a’s” and no punctuation at the end of your sentence. Hmmm, look who’s calling the kettle black. I suggest night school, perhaps English grammar classes.
