FYI: Hasbro rarely lets official third parties create transformers that transform. ThreeZero/ThreeA have said they’d want to create a transforming figure in the past but they can only get the licence if it’s non transforming.
Isn't the reasoning for Hasbro being against other developers purely down to "They might take from the main Hasbro sales", iirc?
I don't agree with such a method of thinking myself, but then apparently that's why companies like Threezero and Yolopark aren't allowed to go in and make these guys transform
As much as I love Hasbro, they shouldn't hold a monopoly on the gimmick
There's no such thing as an "official third party", it's second party, or just licensed figure. Third party is unlicensed figures.
@@Th3Treasoner Technically speaking by and large the concept of Third Party has been heavily corrupted as a term.
First Party is the main Company, second party is a company that while majority shares are with the first party, the company can be allowed to make products on their own volition (Think Game Freak and Nintendo since Game Freak has had games on other consoles outside Nintendo), and Third Party would be companies fully independent but choosing to work with the main party after working out licensing deals.
Technically Threezero and Yolopark ARE the third party in an official legal setting, while all unlicensed figures are Intellectual Property Theft that while legally meant to be off the radar and made with alterations (i.e. no insignias), has been adopted by the fanbase and has been labeled as third party.
Heck, even tfwiki addresses this wholesale

I’ve had this figure for a little bit and just found out the bottom of his feet are magnetic. Makes the figure even better, just wish the base was magnetic as well
Ostensibly it's so the feet magnetically 'stick' together in alt mode, but the gap is just a bit too big on mine to get it to work.
I have the original colored release and I love the thing; it just looks so amazing in every angle. Also something to note which I'm pretty happy with: I was worried about friction joints on a figure this large getting loose over time, but after having it for almost a year now, the joints still feel great.
That was a sick intro! I've been very indecisive as to whether or not to get MM-01 because a huge part of my enjoyment of Transformers is originality, and the BBM Prime design nor MM-01's robot mode, nor MM-01's transformation(due to how often G1-styled Prime transformations have been attempted) is particularly original or inspired. However, I do really like how well-distributed the panels on Optimus' back are distributed in robot mode, and how Prime's torso looks from the front, back, and sides despite being a transformable figure. I try to be objective but other people's hype for this mold do hype me up to pick one up for myself. I think I will pick one up in the original Optimus Prime colors.
Anytime you think a transformation is going to be terrible, just remember Alien Attack KO DoTM Megatron still exists

I only have DLX Soundwave, so I wouldn't know how the Bumblebee Movie Optimus releases feel, but from a visual standpoint, Mag. Mecha clearly nails the visual aspect.
Apparently there's some connection to Wei Jiang and Magnificent Mecha, some of the parts used are identical on both, probably a design they sold off after all the bother they had in 2020 or Magnificent Mecha is just another arm of Wei Jiang.
Transformation is surprisingly simple. A lot simpler than CE 01 Bumblebee.

If you go by 3rd party, You might actually be interested by the *Aoyi Mech LS-13 Tactical Commander* is an upscalled improved version of *SS38*. It compromise a bit more on the Robot mode, but it still manage to look great and, more interestingly, it also results in it having likely the best truck mode possible, including the back of the truck. Not to mention, the ability to conceal the Ion blaster as part of the vehicle mode. also, the transformation is far less of an hassle compared to this one. And it even come with its own (very tiny) little matrix.
And I think it comes cheaper (maybe?).
The fact that this exists pretty much proves that transforming versions of the Yolopark figures are possible.
Non transforming tf figures aren't a big deal imo, cause i like displaying my figures in robot mode anyways, and might only transform them once if i even feel like it so, no big deal at all.
It was called Transformer in the first place.

So it's official that the Bumblebee Movie Optimus design just looks great as Nemesis Prime, no matter the figure. I have a KO SS38 as Nemesis, and I love it, and this thing just looks absolutely beautiful

The last figure I bought was BA Optimus prime. Just bought this one.
It’s pretty much a modified MP-10 transformation with a Threezero shell. They Definitely copied over a lot of stuff that is exclusively from Threezero. (A lot of which isn’t related to being the same design)
Btw owning the DLX one, the articulation is next level, it’s one of the main selling points. So this figure isn’t really doing everything Threezero does.
But it does what a transformers toy normally do, it transforms
I will definitely be getting their ROTB Nemesis deco from this company.
