THIS VIDEO AND THE TOYS INCLUDES IS NOT MADE FOR KIDS!
Some parts of toy are dangerous for kids!!! All videos and toys in video are 15+ Кино
You took me on a trip back, 40 years ago when I enjoyed Robotech, and it made me wish those days would return. Thank you.
Took me back over 40 years ago
Me too haha, our children don't even know the anime. The 3 seasons were awesome, the first two especially.
Amazing! The look, details and proportions are on point. I love the engineering that went into the swivel waist. I'm on board! BTW I LOVED the music! It brought me back.
The missiles were mounted on backwards...
Overall seems to be smaller than Yamato/Arcadia's VF-1 figures but with refined articulation, while using the same basic style of transformation (stuff like the metal T joint connecting the legs swinging back before coming down to the nosecone).
Very interesting, I'd love to pick up one or three lol (Hikaru, Max, and Milia).
ESPECIALLY if they are easier to get than Bandai's Hi-Metal R line that always runs out immediately
3 zero made a transforming figure! 😳😳😳
Their first transformable one was the Dancouga already
copied from the DX chogokin line. Same transformation mechanism.
@laurentbosquet3393 yep, I noticed that as well. just scaled down However that does make it more affordable But I don't know if I want to change up from dx chogokin
なんだかんだでガウォークが1番好きかも😊
So much awesome going on here. I ordered the Roy Fokker addition, can't wait!
Awesome! This is the next big release for me in 2024. Guessing it'll be turning up stateside soon now.
this is macross/robotech not transformers jetfire since some people in the comments are confused for some reason
Cuz G1 Jetfire was a repainted Macross Super Valkyrie.
That Gerwalk mode is *chef's kiss*
Wow, looks great! A lot of detail into this Veritech!
I like the original op macross at this video. Damn it ! Why VF-1j so cool!
Looks pretty good! ...now just make one with Jetfire head, armor, booster pack ...and make it like 3x bigger!!
I have mine ordered!! I can't wait to get it!!
Wait a minute.... A fully transforming three-zero figure?
Never thought I'd see the day!
I am so excited!! Your video and music take me to 1992 where robotech broadcast in tv in Beijing !
UNT Spacy, now there's a name i've not seen in a while.
So , so many. I was going to get the God of Fire . But so many versions, I still have the old Yamato . Looks solid , it’s 1/60
Other than the hands, that looks great!
would love the skull leader variant with the fast armor pack
Nice jet fighter
cool macross aircraft ... nice video
For nostalgic reason...approved..but if you chase complexity in transforming progress, try MG Delta Plus, MG Zeta Ver.Ka or MG ZZ ver.ka...
After 40 years this toy has evolved but i guess it's just not possible to pull those side fillers out in perfect transformation because there is not enough space inside the plane. Even Bandai's DX at 1/48 scale could not resolve that issue. I think Threezero did a good job here. I will def be getting one.
This is an almost exact copy of Bandai's engineering.
Pretty much, with exception of the integrated waist swivel, doesn't require detaching the frame bar behind the hips. The VF-1 transformation really hasn't changed much over 40 years, just small improvements here and there.
@@bh47 probably the integrated waist swivel is the only real innovation in VF-1 figures since the Yamato's figure. Looks like a great figure, but I'm not feeling the need to change my current VF-1 for threezero's yet, maybe when they do a DYRL version with Superparts, even so is good to have another option to chose.
Excelente!
Super like
👽🇦🇷
That third song kinda has that you got the power vibe
Range of motion is nice! 😅
Jetfire AKA Skyfire was a VF-1S model.
Mine is already pre ordered:)
Very cool video mangmotion
Looks great
Mangmotion, are the sliders for the shoulders on your copy tight or are they easy to slide the shoulder up and down? My copy is pretty tight.
This looks an awful lot like the Yamato / Arcadia 1/60 scale VF-1J. Same size and literally shares some aspects of its transformation (beyond the obvious elements taken from the show, I mean). Just has a few little extra bells and whistles beyond the prior toy. Sad that it still doesn't include a waist at all, although that might require some actual "anime magic" to pull off. Also, it doesn't have the weathering I would have expected from threezero. Kind of disappointed that it isn't a bigger upgrade from the older one.
As someone who has the larger Yamato ones, I thought the same thing. This is just a 1/72(?) scale version of toys I already have. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm the owner of the Roy Fokker VF1S and Rick's VF1D DX Chogokin 1/48 scale. Grew up with and love Macross and sad to see that Threezero came up with that small of a version when they are definitely skilled in diecast robots (for example their transformer line. I would have loved to see a bigger version of the VF1J in full diecast, or at least 80% of it. And yeah, proper weathering would have been much welcome too.
@@ZetZatar same feeling. I have the 1/48 dx chogokins and this one feels toyish.
可動が優秀
Really makes me want to buy 3
Ordered both Rick and Roy...😁
just so good
Very nice.
Reminds me so much of my favourite childhood toy Transformer Jetfire
jetfire was a Valkyrie from Macross/Robotech..it came a mold of a VF-1S Macross Valkyrie , hasbro purchased that cause they didn´t have more transformers to sell so they went to Japan to get new material and hasbro obtained those molds and also Dorvack (another real robot anime) and a group of mechanic animals transformable Robots ..
@@estebanflores210 that's interesting, thanks for the info. Been reading a little more today about the history of G1 Transformers and didn't realise there was so much crossover with Japanese cartoons/comics
I feel like every time I hear about shows like Gundam, Robotech and Ultraman, I feel like there are SO MUCH STUFF I missed out on my early childhood, due to having no access to this shows. I grew up on Israel, where I saw Power Rangers, and when I became aquatinted with RUclips, it moved to also Super Sentai, and eventually Kamen Rider as well, and only recently I started seeing Ultraman, a bit of Gundam, and I also plan on seeing stuff from the expended Gavan franchise in the future. No matter how much entertainment you think you know, there's always SO MUCH MORE to discover!😊
Agreed! To tell you the truth, a lot of the new stuff out now on TV is not worth your time so this is the perfect time to discover these classics and ROBOTECH is an awesome place to start. Enjoy!
@@malcolmar Good point! If there is one good thing that came from our current corrupt "renaissance" of woke garbage, it's that it allows you more free time to explore older stuff, and appreciate them a lot more than before.
@@daneyal7162 Exactly! Again, I highly recommend ROBOTECH for its incredible mech designs, great characters and multi-generational, epic story telling. Next I recommend the first and original Mobile Suit Gundam. Next I highly recommend Batman The Animated Series and Big O which is like Batman The Animated series with mechs. You can't go wrong with any of those series and they are light years better than the woke garbage we are getting now.
@@daneyal7162"Woke"
Mf do you even know what gundam is
Can you even define "woke"?
The most amazing part is harmony gold SFA with this IP for decades.
Glad they dont over stylized it like dancouga
Finally, an in-hand review of this! Just a question, are the torso fillers *not* optional in battroid mode?
Just transformed mine without the gap fillers and yes they are there for looks and some extra stability but ultimately not required to be there.
Reminds me of G1 Transformers’ “Skyfire”
Just can't get over that he has the missiles on backwards.
3:32 you have to push that peg all the way in for a secure connection and i wonder how hard it is to get it back out when you are going back to airplane mode
Macross might be a thousand times better than Robotech but the Soundtrack from Robotech is simply perfect. I wish someone made a fan release of Macross using Robotech's OST...
great!! but the face of vf-1s is too weird
I want it now !!
that looks nice !
172.99US though !
Jesus Christ it has a waist swivel and ankle pivots.... Sad it still has cavity fillers but hot damn the pose-ability.
I have the Arcadia and kitzconcept. This one already looks better!
I have Kitzconcept one as well, my copy is trash compare to Chogokin versions
Are those even still around @@DisconnectHack
I like the design super a lot and I wanted to have one when I was 14, and now I am 44. 😂
Hello. It’s very clear; this is an evolved version of the DX from 6 years ago. I have bought BANDAI and YAMAYO. threezero he is the best so far👍I'm quite surprised...The neck can be extended with more movement; the head-to-body ratio has been optimized. It can be completely deformed without installing parts.👍...but the QC is not very good...and needs to be adjusted to respond to the excellent design.
對比笨大 佢價錢同入手程度都比較親民~(易入手) 我都考慮入返一架先😂😂
So cool
The 1/48 Chogokin DX line is still far superior to this
That’s a lot of parts forming, still pretty cool though.
Awwwwwsome
Roy Fokker, maybe?
Cockpit doesn't look accurate. Didn't the tv version have a flight stick and a clear panel above the front display?
Nice!
やっぱ、ロボテック名義よりマクロスの方がしっくりくるんだよなー(個人的な意見ですw)
Un robot macho😊😊
Why does the transformation and parts attachment process look almost like Bandai Dx?
Hasbro better let Threezero make transformable figures
I wonder if it is possible to have the figure be in robot mode without the torso gap fillers?
If it's like any of the other manufacturers that use pretty much the exact same mold and transformation, then yes. The gap fillers are optional.
@@BlakJak206 Oh that's good. I don't have any hands on experience with Macross or Robotech figures (except for the Toynami 1/100), so forgive my ignorance.
@@Doiboy35 It's all good. I have the Arcadia version which came with the same looking gap fillers, so I'm assuming this will be the same as it looks like it transforms just like mine besides the shoulders.
Yes, I've transformed mine without the fillers and can confirm they are not required for transformation and are there only for looks and a little bit of extra stability but only if you want to use them.
@@Windrave Thank you for the information! Can't seem to find any reviews or pictures that show this, was getting frustrated.
Ugh! These Robotech figures always cost an arm and a leg! 🙄
Not this one! Only $150 on BBTS.
Not bad since Bandai's DX Chogokin figures are usually netween $250 and $400.
I’d like to see one for less than $100
I can’t bring myself to think of it as anything besides Macross.
私もこのタイプのVF―1J一条輝タイプを持ってますよ。
Ummm... I need one of those.
Anyone notice the missiles were attached backwards?
Macross packaging or no dice.
I wish they would have made the base clear than black and have articulated fingers than having additional hands (I find these kinda wasteful plastics)
This looks like really cheap plastic...thanks for the review...Just saved a few bucks
Can you do a side by side with 1/48
DooooooooooooooooooooDE! I want one please!!!
They used this model as a transformer in the US in the 80s...I spotted it the moment I saw it. Though this version has more parts and flexibility compared to the US version which erased the Macross decals completely.
Yeah, they more or less used an original Macross Valkyrie as the basis for G1 Jetfire who ended up evolving into his own character design, far removed from his Macross origins.
Humorously he's depicted as this shuttle/transport jet as opposed to a fighter jet and now most modern renditions of Jetfire typically have him as this large jet when his original toy/design was a sci-fi F-14 Tomcat.
Oh man if they do a jetfire g1 repaint I’m in. The parts forming is a weird choice but I guess not bad enough to deter me if its Jetfire
Jetfire? Nice!
The missiles are on backwards. How do you miss that?
I don't know exactly what they are charging, but from looks alone, I would say all of the other existing RoboTech toys from Arcadia, BanDai, and KitzConcept should not be worried about competition from this thing. Only toynami should see this mostly average toy as "competition" - and we already know toynami is smaller and crappier - and probably cheaper too...
Inexcusable for a product of this quality and price to not have fully transforming and posable hands, at least as an option to go along with the cartoon accurate "balloon fists". When did this become an acceptable thing?
Wasted opportunity 😔
@@arcticarduino Having swapout hands was not my point... dude...
@@arcticarduino there is a massive difference between swappable fists, and straight up parts forming dude.
Eh, I have the version from Arcadia, and it comes with transformable hands along with the cartoony ones. I don't really find them worth it as the cartoon ones look 10x better. The figure looks off with the tiny posable hands.
Often the transformable posable look horrible… trust me these type hands are much better!
Impresionante! Superó por mucho a Yamato/Arcadia, y a Bandai Chogokin!
Para nada
This is actually they're first transformable figure why didn't they make the other transformers transformable
What scale?
Behold! The eternal glory of Jetfire!
I want one
Mine’s been on preorder for 8 months.
Absolute joke. Sorry for you. Feels like you might never get it when these companies do this crap. All the best, hope you get it soon.
@@ernestmuric6719 - Thank you!
Jetfire looks weird.
it's almost a copy of dx chogokin except for one thing (waist rotation part)...
i'm not sure if it is worth to collect 3zero valkyrie series ....😮
That sliding arm rail is definitely from Bandai.
@@yunoyuluvit yes, and not only that part but almost every details are same as bandai's dx chogokin series 🙁
so I can say that it's minus scale copy of dx chogokin...
For the cost, it is more than worth it to those that never bought any other versions.
but this is not a perfect transformation dude it is a shame cause as you see you must add the hands and also in battloid mode you have to add something else to complete that mode ...that diminishes this figure value
@@estebanflores210 It is a perfect transformation. The additional parts are if you want to make it look like animation model.
Macross no sora wo tsuranuite
Chikyuu wo utta ikazuchi wa
which part is diecast?
in the 80s i had a couple of the Models could snapped together the only problem when transforming them they fell apart there was 2 that Transformed then like 4 others on i i had but Rick Hunter and Roy Fokker planes then there was a mech with gun arms then i had one of the bad guy mechs
The waist swivels different to the dx…. does anyone know the scale
1/60
Is there much diecast?
I believe there is a lot. The whole inner frame. (There's an animation that showcases the assembly on the official page.)
If harmont gold wouldn't have been so mismangled, Robotech coyld have been so much more.
Still bummed No macross video games...in US
How much does it cost and can I get a link to buy one please?
Macross and no Robotech.
Everyone knows why besides, if not beyond the unbearable credits which are not the original ones, unlike the credits of the Japanese version, the collector's item remains beautiful and representative.
👍
