Rotary phone Taking me back ! Couldn't sneak phone calls on that. Everybody in the house could hear you dialing. I'm originally from Harrisburg, Pa area been in Lebanon, Pa 31 years but I love Pittsburgh Dad ! Funny !!

The pizza coupon joke at the end was my parents every week. They always tried to pull the "i have this coupon" stunt. Works every time
that looks exactly like my Dad's phone too...Good stuff. (where'd you find a phone that looks like a 70's phone) lol We had an avacado green fridge, also. When I would watch the 70's show, I would think "this ain't nothin like my experience in the 70's" but this Pgh Dad nails it. IDK maybe it is a burg thang.
Ha, Bedford County PA had party lines in part of the county until the late 90's. "Hey, wait your turn jaggo!"

I do that too, but I'm from North Carolina. My mom and her family lived near Pittsburgh before moving south though.

LmAO one of the BEST videos yet!!! Oh the GOOD old days!! (Except for dial up and waiting for my free AOL online CD to come in the mail so I could get on AIM after school LoL) Kids these days wouldn't have lasted a minute in MY day!!! I'm 26. LoL Now on a moto droid razr watching vids on RUclips where my phone is more of a toy than a phone...crazy...
Yinz forgot to mention Tel-Med, the source of all health information! We used to call those numbers in the 70s for fun and entertainment.
My parents do the yelling for each other to pick up the phone. In fact, it just happened about 15mins ago
I HATED that when you;d be on the phone, and someone would pick up and start dialing without listening for a dial tone! Great memories...

Heck yeah they usually don't even take the coupon if you got it. I think you could make stuff up but tech messed it up, but I'm still a fan of tech. Except that phone address on books. I'm finding one of them.

My Dad still has that phone directory and a rotary dial phone. I love it. It was always a big deal when you got a new phone directory and had to transfer over all the numbers. Thanks again for a great laugh!

I want one. I'm glad google saves numbers but I probably lost like 40 numbers breaking phones. 1 drop on rain broke, back in the day.

Oh my Gosh this was my life! The dial up interrupting my calls, someone dialing while I was on, the not calling till 7 on my cell; too much! Plus that "rolodex" type phone book that popped up. LOL
