Small tip: you don't have to attack the birds with the stab, you can rely on reflecting alone to reflect the orbs they spit at them. Also, the eleveator is actually really good if you use it right ( far better than the portal). The intention with the elevator is to leave resoureces there while you do everyhting, and it slowly brings everything to the top. If you're mining a lot then you'll have extra resources that dont make it to the top immediately (without upgrades) but the lift allows you to spend time mining without wasting over half your time dragging resources around. You spent a lot of time bringing resources up when your lift was empty and could have brung those resources while you did something else. Try and use the lift a lot until you get used to it and see how it fares.

Hey Blitz, a tip with the deflector upgrade, it bounces back the flying bois attack if it hits the s-word or the base. Meaning you dont need to waste a stab on them, leaving you more open.

Honestly, the only way I'd ever choose the sword is if there were an update or a mod that let you spin the blade 360º around your dome and add multiple blades. Basically, you'd be turning your defense into a reflective rotary saw.
