I’m not catholic. I had some negative things happen with the Catholic Church. So I gravitated to baptist style churches. You sir are a true servant of the Lord. I plan on sticking with you for the full year of this reading. HOME RUN and BRAVO.
I am so happy you are listening to BIYA. Father Mike truly is God's servant. From experience I can say there is evil inside churches, But God knows who His People are and has not left them. This study now my third year has brought deliverance to my soul. Deliverance through the words of Father Mike, as if Jesus was speaking to me. Deliverance. You are and always will be a Catholic, that is, if you are baptised and confirmed into the Church. Even your water baptism in the Baptist is nothing more than the baptism of John the Baptist. Your valid baptism is that which you received in the Catholic Church, that is a fact. The Baptist baptism is not valid, nor is it accepted by the Church as valid. I left the evangelicals in 2007 and returned to the One True Apostolic Holy Mother Catholic Church, I would advise you do the same, the Holy Spirit brought you to this course for a reason.
Catholic mom here. I just learned about this! I have been failing at Bible studies my entire adult life. This is so awesome, because it is easy and streamlined and relaxing, and I don't feel like I have 1 more task to do. Thank you!!!!
I start my morning with Father Mike. Thus, I come away with something positive rather than filling my mind with the hatred and divisiveness and corruption and negativity of the world around us. This course is one of the missing links in my life. Thank you, Father Mike for all the work and countless hours you put into these daily sessions.

Now I listen/read the TRUTH (the Bible) instead. ❤️ I’m so grateful that my catechist recommended it and that Fr. Mike makes it!!!! I find it helps me focus on positivity and community/connection rather than worrying about the divisiveness/corruption that you noticed.
This is such a gift!!! I never understood a lot of what I would read, so I would just stop reading it out of feelings of incompetence! This is jaw dropping!!!

Idk, the rainbow representing “wokeness” sounds a lot better than reminding us of the time God decided to just kill everyone before settling on sacrificing Jesus. Omniscient, yet He didn’t know mass extinction and collective punishment was bad and wouldn’t solve anything?
This will be my third year listening to BIAY daily. As someone who struggles to read, this helps me to spend time “reading the Bible” every day. So grateful for this blessing.

Today's podcast was mostly about Noah and his Ark. It brought back a sweet memory. When our daughter was young, we gave her a scribbler and a few crayons. These were meant only to be used at Mass. In the scribbler she would draw what she called " Jesus pictures." She would sit on the kneeler and use the bench as a desk. One day she drew a picture of Noah's Ark...complete with a Canadian flag."
Thank you Father Mike! On day 4 and you make waking up in the mornings much more fun! I am giving God my first fruits of the morning by these daily Bible studies! I then get the gift of being in the world much more peacefully! God bless to all here

While the rain continuously poured in the background, I watched and reflected on the message of this video. I feel sorry for the wickedness of human beings, grateful for Noah's faithfulness and obedience, amazed at God's patience and goodnes to give us a chance to begin again. God trusts us despite our brokenness. Lord, take away from me whatever separates me from You. Let me die first before allowing me to offend You!

I think it was 18 years ago I read the Bible cover to cover every morning before work. I did it for general information with the intention of “learning “ it, somehow someway with another reading. Well I never got back to it until now. Just completed day 4. Just wanted to thank you for helping me to learn the nuances of the Bible and fulfill what my heart wanted all those years ago 😊. All in Gods time 🙏
Just joined three days ago and am very much enjoying listening to Fr. Mike’s readings and interpretations. I am a retired RN. I’ve worked almost full time have raised two wonderful children with my husband( who is not Catholic, but supportive of my faith). They are both good adults but although I was insistent that they attend Catholic religious education classes, neither one follows the faith now that they grown. I blame myself. Slowly I’m trying to learn more about my faith through the Bible and share with my adult kids!!
"The best way for a child to lose the faith is to send them to Catholic school"......not being harsh (I'm a nurse too, by the way - worked this plandemic, and the ones before it, but died a couple of times being sent home when it was my turn to get it, but it was mostly bad due to the lack of care I got, and when I refused the vent, they refused basic care. I was mold toxic from my workplace, and the list goes on. I had a stroke - at home, no help. ER kept sending me home because I didn't want the vent. I knew what was up. Yes, some PTSD, but I'm working through it with my Christian counselor, continuing to journal which I have done since age 4, mama taught me how to talk to Jesus, and have a living, breathing relationship with Him, also how to suffer. I was unable to read, write, or hear/see anything after my stroke from the clots from covaids left unassisted, on isolation in my home for 3 months....I wanted to start a Bible study, but I was too toxic in the brain since I was plastered with Tylenol and toxic doses of the right med at the wrong time and the wrong doses...anyway, it was my faith in the Lord that I was developed from my childhood, from my Catholics parents who sent me to a protestant Sunday school, since the Catholics had nothing, and I chose - when given a choice to attend catholic school or public, public...why? I was certain I was going to major in music performance. I play by ear and love music, but also love philosophy and science. However, what I was CALLED to, was nursing, but not altering having gone through the public school system all the way on up until college, where I attended 4 years of catholic undergrad......RICH experience. AWESOME. Then two years of grad school at a liberal, watered down, weak, anti-Catholic...Catholic college, then nursing school at a Catholic college in name only. I've found that only VERY FEW "Catholic schools" do it right, do it well, and actually yield children of great faith. I write this to encourage you, because the mere sending a child to Catholic school does not mean anything. Often, it's just wrote and a relationship is never established, and the truth is, the FRIENDSHIP between husband and wife, the modeling of a relationship, not necessarily Catholic but Christian, and an active faith life in the family through day to day service inside and outside the home, open conversations, the invitation and encouragement of inquiry and discussion...these are missing from most Catholic homes. I have many cousins who were sent to Catholic school and I feel my aunts and uncles were assuming they were going to get educated in the faith and that was all. It's not enough. I was also so disappointed and disgusted -- real eye opener, in two situations of my life....1) "Catholic singles dating" pool, and 2) going to Catholic colleges where I was the minority for having come from public school my whole life (mind you, my public school was so open to our having a Bible study between school started in hallway "L" :) And I was giving the class arguments and presentation in "Sex Ed" and Health class, about the awesomeness of abstinence and purity. I was disappointed to find that in both my Catholic colleges and catholic single circles, the snobbiness, the intimidation, the emotional abuse that came from the catholic school kids who were often the most drunkards, sexually promiscuous, etc. I was out of place, down on myself, and very confused! I went in with convictions to study hard, do well, service trips, develop real good friendships, explore, etc.....and everywhere I turned, I was being made to feel "less" because I didn't go to Catholic School, but noticed that I was the only one excited in Theology Class (especially Medical Ethics, Philosophical Theology, Moral Theology, etc). Sorry if this is all over the place.I was thankful my parents were open to my many questions, and we had open discussion because it's really in that, and not just the mere learning the faith in the books, and I think that's one mistake people make in insisting their children go to catholic school. It's not enough. What I remember the most about my childhood where my mom was Catholics (So was dad), was her LOVE of the Bible, active relationship with Jesus on the day to day not just in church or at prayer time. And her balance of serving the family, and serving outside the family where we'd volunteer with Saint Vincent DePaul twice a week, and it was so good to do that together, but then never leave the family unserved. And then dad, I would see him (we never missed a Sunday Mass, even on vacation..no soccer game came first, etc)...approaching Jesus as this tall, built strong man (how they were made! Before estrogen in the pills, water, food, etc), small..humble...before our Lord in the Eucharist. I fused those two together, and got my faith like that. Catholicism was always right, in my heart. It always felt "perfect peace" even when I didn't know or understand what we were doing. I trusted because my intuition is not wrong and I never left the Church, but mom fell away a little, but because of what she modeled for me, I ended up helping her come back, slow and steady, through her disability diagnoses (muscular dystrophy and other things) and she's strong in the faith, and I"m ever growing, and so is dad. So, I just ask you to commit them to prayer, as I will as well. It's in almost every family, AND ourselves. We can all learn more, grow more, and we should be modeling that humility and humbleness so that people see that in us. I'm sure what was most confusing to your children, even if they don't know it themselves or even consciously, is that mom and dad were differing faiths. That confusion, and any and all arguments or asymmetry is all it takes and it's so common. It's hard on children to see in who they look to as solid rocks, differ in a department both parents tell them they care equally and subscribe to different views of the same faith. Almost harder than a set of parents where one is Jewish and one is Catholic. It can be more overwhelming because of the likeness. Anyway, pray, fast, gently and joyfully share what you're learning, less is more, and just keep moving forward. We're not here to be successful, only faithful. God uses His Holy Watering can to nourish the fertile ground....and it's made fertile in His time, when His people finally accept the grace necessary to confront their own desires to be gods and they eventually get to the end of themselves. I'm thankful that after a year plus, with unabillity to see, hear and process incoming information, I can do this study! It..is AWESOME. I have to slow down the speed though because of the brain damage and Fr Mike's speech speed is manic to me, so I hope others know they can slow it down with the gear on the right lower page. Sensory disorder.....from brain inflammation and hypoxia (TBI), so need to take like 3 days to do "a" day of the study. Slow and steady..... God bless you, and be very thankful you're retired RN right now. It's not Nursing anymore. If you have a conscience, you can't operate in a system of death and lies. It's rampant and scary. I too started reading the Bible when I was about eight and tried the cover to cover approach, I got some way through Leviticus lol.

Day 4 in 2022... Very intrigued about Ham seeing the nakedness of his father. Wish we can have further discussions and ask questions just to understand a bit better. Love this podcast btw. Seeing God's word in a whole different light.
I see 3 sins. Ham dishonours his father by telling his brothers about his nakedness (the reason Noah becomes embarrassed and angered to the point he places a curse on Ham's family); Noah was drunk (intoxicated to the point his behaviour left him naked); Noah places a curse (instead of forgiving his son). The lessons: 1. Honour your parents 2. Do not get drunk 3. If you wish to receive forgiveness from God, then first forgive those who trespass against you. NB Ham's 'true offence' that I have listed here is in accord with that identified by many scholars - although there are numerous opinions by other scholars - however, I tend to believe the text is literal in this instance.

While the rain continuously poured in the background, I watched and reflected on the message of this video. I feel sorry for the wickedness of human beings, grateful for Noah's faithfulness and obedience, amazed at God's patience and goodnes to give us a chance to begin again. God trusts us despite our brokenness. Lord, take away from me whatever separates me from You. Let me die first before allowing me to offend You!

I think it was 18 years ago I read the Bible cover to cover every morning before work. I did it for general information with the intention of “learning “ it, somehow someway with another reading. Well I never got back to it until now. Just completed day 4. Just wanted to thank you for helping me to learn the nuances of the Bible and fulfill what my heart wanted all those years ago 😊.

Just joined three days ago and am very much enjoying listening to Fr. Mike’s readings and interpretations. I am a retired RN. I’ve worked almost full time have raised two wonderful children with my husband( who is not Catholic, but supportive of my faith). They are both good adults but although I was insistent that they attend Catholic religious education classes, neither one follows the faith now that they grown. I blame myself. Slowly I’m trying to learn more about my faith through the Bible and share with my adult kids!!

"The best way for a child to lose the faith is to send them to Catholic school"......not being harsh (I'm a nurse too, by the way - worked this plandemic, and the ones before it, but died a couple of times being sent home when it was my turn to get it, but it was mostly bad due to the lack of care I got, and when I refused the vent, they refused basic care. I was mold toxic from my workplace, and the list goes on. I had a stroke - at home, no help. ER kept sending me home because I didn't want the vent. I knew what was up. Yes, some PTSD, but I'm working through it with my Christian counselor, continuing to journal which I have done since age 4, mama taught me how to talk to Jesus, and have a living, breathing relationship with Him, also how to suffer. I was unable to read, write, or hear/see anything after my stroke from the clots from covaids left unassisted, on isolation in my home for 3 months....I wanted to start a Bible study, but I was too toxic in the brain since I was plastered with Tylenol and toxic doses of the right med at the wrong time and the wrong doses...anyway, it was my faith in the Lord that I was developed from my childhood, from my Catholics parents who sent me to a protestant Sunday school, since the Catholics had nothing, and I chose - when given a choice to attend catholic school or public, public...why? I was certain I was going to major in music performance. I play by ear and love music, but also love philosophy and science. However, what I was CALLED to, was nursing, but not altering having gone through the public school system all the way on up until college, where I attended 4 years of catholic undergrad......RICH experience. AWESOME. Then two years of grad school at a liberal, watered down, weak, anti-Catholic...Catholic college, then nursing school at a Catholic college in name only. I've found that only VERY FEW "Catholic schools" do it right, do it well, and actually yield children of great faith. I write this to encourage you, because the mere sending a child to Catholic school does not mean anything. Often, it's just wrote and a relationship is never established, and the truth is, the FRIENDSHIP between husband and wife, the modeling of a relationship, not necessarily Catholic but Christian, and an active faith life in the family through day to day service inside and outside the home, open conversations, the invitation and encouragement of inquiry and discussion...these are missing from most Catholic homes. I have many cousins who were sent to Catholic school and I feel my aunts and uncles were assuming they were going to get educated in the faith and that was all. It's not enough. I was also so disappointed and disgusted -- real eye opener, in two situations of my life....1) "Catholic singles dating" pool, and 2) going to Catholic colleges where I was the minority for having come from public school my whole life (mind you, my public school was so open to our having a Bible study between school started in hallway "L" :) And I was giving the class arguments and presentation in "Sex Ed" and Health class, about the awesomeness of abstinence and purity. I was disappointed to find that in both my Catholic colleges and catholic single circles, the snobbiness, the intimidation, the emotional abuse that came from the catholic school kids who were often the most drunkards, sexually promiscuous, etc. I was out of place, down on myself, and very confused! I went in with convictions to study hard, do well, service trips, develop real good friendships, explore, etc.....and everywhere I turned, I was being made to feel "less" because I didn't go to Catholic School, but noticed that I was the only one excited in Theology Class (especially Medical Ethics, Philosophical Theology, Moral Theology, etc). Sorry if this is all over the place.I was thankful my parents were open to my many questions, and we had open discussion because it's really in that, and not just the mere learning the faith in the books, and I think that's one mistake people make in insisting their children go to catholic school. It's not enough. What I remember the most about my childhood where my mom was Catholics (So was dad), was her LOVE of the Bible, active relationship with Jesus on the day to day not just in church or at prayer time. And her balance of serving the family, and serving outside the family where we'd volunteer with Saint Vincent DePaul twice a week, and it was so good to do that together, but then never leave the family unserved. And then dad, I would see him (we never missed a Sunday Mass, even on vacation..no soccer game came first, etc)...approaching Jesus as this tall, built strong man (how they were made! Before estrogen in the pills, water, food, etc), small..humble...before our Lord in the Eucharist. I fused those two together, and got my faith like that. Catholicism was always right, in my heart. It always felt "perfect peace" even when I didn't know or understand what we were doing. I trusted because my intuition is not wrong and I never left the Church, but mom fell away a little, but because of what she modeled for me, I ended up helping her come back, slow and steady, through her disability diagnoses (muscular dystrophy and other things) and she's strong in the faith, and I"m ever growing, and so is dad. So, I just ask you to commit them to prayer, as I will as well. It's in almost every family, AND ourselves. We can all learn more, grow more, and we should be modeling that humility and humbleness so that people see that in us. I'm sure what was most confusing to your children, even if they don't know it themselves or even consciously, is that mom and dad were differing faiths. That confusion, and any and all arguments or asymmetry is all it takes and it's so common. It's hard on children to see in who they look to as solid rocks, differ in a department both parents tell them they care equally and subscribe to different views of the same faith. Almost harder than a set of parents where one is Jewish and one is Catholic. It can be more overwhelming because of the likeness. Anyway, pray, fast, gently and joyfully share what you're learning, less is more, and just keep moving forward. We're not here to be successful, only faithful. God uses His Holy Watering can to nourish the fertile ground....and it's made fertile in His time, when His people finally accept the grace necessary to confront their own desires to be gods and they eventually get to the end of themselves. I'm thankful that after a year plus, with unabillity to see, hear and process incoming information, I can do this study! It..is AWESOME. I have to slow down the speed though because of the brain damage and Fr Mike's speech speed is manic to me, so I hope others know they can slow it down with the gear on the right lower page. Sensory disorder.....from brain inflammation and hypoxia (TBI), so need to take like 3 days to do "a" day of the study. Slow and steady..... God bless you, and be very thankful you're retired RN right now. It's not Nursing anymore. If you have a conscience, you can't operate in a system of death and lies. It's rampant and scary. Day 4 in 2022... Very intrigued about Ham seeing the nakedness of his father. Wish we can have further discussions and ask questions just to understand a bit better. Love this podcast btw. Seeing God's word in a whole different light.
I see 3 sins. Ham dishonours his father by telling his brothers about his nakedness (the reason Noah becomes embarrassed and angered to the point he places a curse on Ham's family); Noah was drunk (intoxicated to the point his behaviour left him naked); Noah places a curse (instead of forgiving his son).
The lessons:
1. Honour your parents
2. Do not get drunk
3. If you wish to receive forgiveness from God, then first forgive those who trespass against you.
NB Ham's 'true offence' that I have listed here is in accord with that identified by many scholars - although there are numerous opinions by other scholars - however, I tend to believe the text is literal in this instance.
