Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 Exhaust sound| Commute 1

So I've been riding the Royal Enfield Himalayan for two months now and here's my quick review based on clocking 2000kms in the odo. The first thing I must say is, it's fun. It's a great joy to ride it, let it be a city, trail or the highway. It may not be fast as the competitions, but Himalayan isn't made for that and that's one thing to keep in mind if you're a potential buyer. Don't expect it to blast you like 390 or the new Dominar but if you're riding in the sane local speeds, like sub 90K/hr you wouldn't be disappointed. It's got great low end torque and a nice mid range, but it's struggles in the high RPMs. There aren't any kind of vibrations or buzz in the sane RPMs, but it gets a bit vibey in the high revs, but not as much as the competitions. The seats are on the holy grail class and is the best you can find in the segment. It's soo good that you can forget taking brakes during long rides. The stock tires are kind of okay, packs enough grip to take on trails, rough and wet roads but it's advised to change to Metzelers or Michellins. The lack of 6th gear does seem like a deal breaker in paper but on road you won't feel it, the high gears are tall enough to keep it going without hitting the limiter.
It though does have the pre 2019 "Royal Enfieldness"in it. I mean the fit and finish isn't that great. The wires are exposed, which can be nightmare during foam wash. The compass in the meter console wasn't calibrated when I received the bike. The bike does heat a tad lot than Dominar, but less than 390 Duke. The gear shifts aren't crisp but, you can live with it. It was a bit clunky during the initial kilometres but got better after the service. The Himalayan also had some minor build issues which were rectified in first service. Even with all it's flaws it's hella fun to ride and at the end of the day that's all what matters.

Sorry I don't recall the mileage before initial services. I get around 28-34 now, with 28 on rides like you see in the video and 34 on highways
