Thanks for watching, Hector! I actually borrowed this game from a friend to film the video and haven't played it sense so I'm very very rusty on the rules. Hopefully someone else might come along and answer your question. I'll pin your comment so it'll be at the top of the comments so it hopefully grabs someone's attention.

@@BoredOnlineBoardOffline They just attack as per normal rules, that is, within range.

Hello everyone! My gf and me just played a few hours the game and really enjoyed it. However, we can't seem to find an answer to the question what happens when the enemy has a move icon (to the nearest target) with a push icon (and potentially doing damage with the push) when a character is already on the same node as the enemy?
Is a player already on the node also the nearest player? This would mean the enemy does not move and does not do damage and push?

Good question, Salty (mind if I call you Salty?). Check out page 21 of the rulebook, 4th paragraph under Pushing. If the enemy's movement includes a push icon first each character on the enemy's node is immediately pushed onto an adjacent node chosen by the player. Then each time the enemy moves onto another node move each character on THAT node to an adjacent node, etc.
Hope that helps! I haven't played Dark Souls since October 2017 so I had to do some searching before I answered.
FYI one super helpful thing I've found with rules heavy games like this is to download a searchable PDF of the rulebook. Most games these days have them. Then you can find what you're looking for just by running a quick search of the document.

@@BoredOnlineBoardOffline Thank you very much! Sometimes it is unreal how long you look for an answer, can't find it but it is basically in front of you :D
Thank you very much for the tip with the PDF and the time in researching the answer to my question!
Given that we enjoy DS so much, what next game would you recommend (DS is our first tabletop game!)

Oh wow welcome to the hobby! You’ve got quite a world to explore!
If you want another dungeon crawl I’d recommend either Star Wars: Imperial Assault or Descent 2nd Edition. They are VERY similar to each other (basically the exact same system) but one is sci-fi and the other is fantasy. The cool thing with these is they can be played cooperatively if you download their free app, or one person can control the bad guys and then one to four people can control the heroes (no app is needed to play this way). Also Imperial Assault has a skirmish mode where two players setup predesigned maps, then choose a squad of Rebels vs a squad of Imperials and fight it out.
If you want to move away from dungeon crawls try out these. They all are very different experiences but I think are good for people just getting into the hobby.
      - Clank! or Clank! In! Space!
      - Dale of Merchants 1 or 2
      - Orleans
      - Specter Ops
