Painting Manus, Father of the Abyss | Dark Souls Boardgame

- Journey with me Chosen Undead to the depths of the abyss as we take on the big daddy of the dark... Manus. This is one of the many expansions from the @Steamforged boardgame and one of my favourites from them that I have painted!

This page has allowed me to share my journey with learning to 3D print and paint models from my favourite games, so I wanted to share the process with all of you! From painting and collecting all the models from the Dark Souls Boardgame, the Bloodborne Boardgame and also printing dozens of Elden Ring Characters, Dark Souls Figures, Bloodborne Models, Sekiro Statues and also Fromsoftware Dioramas, I'm trying to improve my painting skills with every video and I'd love for you to join! That singing intro was incredible! Manus is so tough and is definitely one of the bosses I think of when people say dark souls games are hard (others would be o&s and orphan of kos)! I love the Bloodborne aesthetic he has to him too!
LOVE the glow effect on the eyes! it seems so simple but makes such a difference.

Wow that model is so amazing! Super glad you didnt just go for a "everything is black because manus is papa of abyss and abyss is dark" route. I love the more saturated colors you've used. Specifically the purples and blues on the arm, and the eyes really finish the piece. Abyss daddy would be proud.
Manus isn’t even all black in the game, so I have never understood why someone would do that to him.

You have really good eye for colours and tones.
Manus seems to be pretty scary boss and i think he might be the next one on my playthrough. But i’ll try to think how he was given a manicure whenever i get stressed.

Thanks so much! I’ve done a couple print and paint jobs for people, but it’s a very time consuming thing so I can’t do it so much atm with doing the RUclips stuff

How long does a mini like this take to paint?
From out the box to final product was around 5 hours I think

I feel like I’d grab him by the neck and tackle him to the ground haha
I actually painted him long before I started filming them and I have a few pictures of him on my Instagram channel. I’ll look to perhaps print a new one to paint
He has so many horns, are those parts fragile ? Will they break easily or are they bendy ?
