Hey you two! Thanks for flying out to LA and doing your thang so that I could watch and listen to you do yo thang on youtube! I'm looking forward to some huntress gameplay fa show. I haven't been this genuinely excited for a game since diablo 3 release, and we know how that ended up. The difference here is that all my favorite internet people are saying the same thing about the POE 2 playtest. I feel confident in being excited for a game this time around.
It really was refreshing to here such similar opinions about so much of the Play Test from those that went. It was encouraging to me as well! And thanks for the kind words! We're happy to be invited and glad it worked out to go. 🥰
Wait what? They can't revive an ally that we ever saw. We didn't have doors to open that I remember but I didn't notice them opening chests either, but I could have missed it.
@@ForeverExiled I may be wrong but in the first boss fight it looked like she pointed toward the Monk to revive him and the skeletons went to that area. That would be interesting if they did but that was an observation.
Thanks for answering my question! ☺ I had forgotten that you didn't make it into act 2, but it still sounded like you were very comfortable with how power level progressed in Act 1. As i was listening, watching, kinda phasing between the two, it really sunk in how often you were coming up against an awesome boss. I am so hyped for the pacing of this game and to experience the improved feel that you mention. Waiting is hard... bless Trev, but right now I don't have much faith in seeing the beta in November, they keep moving the goalposts by coming up with these big changes to improve the game. But watching footage in even just 1080p looks fantastic. I can easily see me taking 40-plus hours to do the campaign, really taking everything in. I haven't been this hyped for a game since Age of Empires 2 came out. Ridiculous 😂😂
You two are also awesome for answering my question as promised. Thank you for that. You really answered it thoroughly i have so many more questions and the way you describe things Is great, it feels like the way you play is more relatable than other content creators (I would probably also be sitting hours in front of the menu 😂).One follow up question. Especially later on you touched on how it feels more important especially as a ranger to aim and move. I was thinking about remapping main skills you need on the move to the back buttons and maybe dodgeroll on analog stick, but then I was thinking, in PoE1 you had to hold shoulder buttons to switch between different skills because you could map a vast variety of them (even if in most builds not needed). In PoE2 it feels like the game generally recommends using multiple skills (which I love), how many skills can you assign and is there still a switching in-between skills "pages"?
When they say everything is remappable they really mean it 😊 the default is to hold left trigger to get the secondary set of all the buttons for more skills, so you hold down left trigger and then press the skill, but even that swap button of left trigger is mappable so you can change it to whatever feels comfortable. Thanks for your comment 😍
Can't say too much about dual wielding as we didn't really try it. I know for the witch they can use a sceptre and a wand and use skills from both weapon types. But we didn't do much dual wield other than that. Oh and the warrior and a shield 😉
@@ForeverExiled sounds good. How many skills on average did you use? 3-4 or what do you think will be the amount of skills you need in alter portions of the game if you had to guess, based on your experience?
@@ForeverExiled I hear that! I practically don't consider sword and shield dual wielding 😁. Even if you are not allowed to tell us, did you get hints about future classes?
Hi, as a fellow menu enjoyer, I have a question: Do you remember what the attributes give? EG: inteligence gives spell dmg and mana. I tried to skimm all the videos but I am not good enought in it!
@@ForeverExiled Shoot. I don't remember. I know Int. doesn't give ES anymore, it's Mana and Spell Damage, I think. Strength is the same, I'm pretty sure. I didn't hover over Dex. for too long. I'll see if I can find it in the footage somewhere.
Happy Father's day boyz! I think to help the visual clarity, much as I love the tone of the graphics, they should make the players a much sharper colour pallet so they didn't blend into the background so easily. Perhaps every armor comes with a sharp red (or blue) cape.
Visual clarity wont be problem because everyone will have mtx shining bright like the sun.
Lol good point
Tyler & Tagz the kinda guys that would rather go to the guy at home depot than go to therapy lmao
Love your faces!
Haha! I guess it's just Chicken Soup for the Soul 🥰. I bought a Home Depot hat the last time I was there!
@@WreckerofDays it IS so nice to interact with shop clerks like that.
This podcast cured my gout. Thanks guys!
Knew it! Happy to help! ;)

Wow! the witch's minions can revive your ally? That's impressive. I know that the showcase mentioned they can open chests and doors etc

Haha we are the same mind ❤️ I really really hope they don't push it again as we get to the end of the year but I won't be holding my breath

Also, please tell me they reworked dual wielding, so it is viable again (hope shadow class returns).

I'm listening on my phone and you triggered my phone's Google assistant... 😅
Great success
great stuff. loved the spectre news... Wish I could have gone!
Ya. Minions are going to be sweet.

Tyler might remember specifically as I remember we did spend some time hovering over them to get more info but I can't tell you for sure

Happy Father’s Day guys!
Also why is the witch in the gameplay footage suicidal? 😛
I WAS TIRED! 🙃
As a Home Depot associate, I approve this podcast

Thanks CF! Happy father's day, and hopefully they figure something out for sure
