Hiii! Thanks to you for making such awesome game! I really enjoyed it a lot because it TR3 Jungle style, which is not so much used as a location from TR3! I liked everything! And for the copyright no worries I'm used to it and always check if there is any musics under it. But yeah maybe in future release your game with a folder with the package of musics you use for us yt content creators but overall I agree, even though I cut musics the game is really enjoyable and awesome! I thought overall this was a great set of levels. I did find that it was overall a bit sprawling with massive area after massive area, sometimes with very little to do, and not many hints on what you're actually supposed to be doing so there's a lot of looking around. But fun for sure. The timed run though for that last secret in the second level was ridiculously unfair. Thankfully it was easy to corner bug in.
Hiii! I think too that the game need more hints but I find it very enjoyable in the environment plus I like TR3! Personally speaking I don't like to use bugs but if you succeeded to do lika that it's ok, the most important thing is to achieve the secret! But the legit way is to time run for the last secret! Anyway maybe this can be seen by the builder Jonson and maybe he can take this as suggestions! :) See you on the next adventure 💕
I don't use the bug to finish levels, usually just to explore :) But again, that timed run was ridiculous. I generally hate them and if I see in a review that a level has them, I'll usually skip the level. :) @@SakiCroft
(Assuming it is the last secret of level 3 to which is referred here. Level 2 does not contain any secret which has a timerun before) Thank you for the feedback. It is my personal design principle that secrets are rewarding (in terms of extra areas, new weapons and ammo), but quite challenging to reach. Secrets should not be something the players can stumble over aside of the main route. The players should keep their eyes wide open, explore the areas throughroutly and use their platforming skills to to reach a secret. It is my preferred way of designing secrets and I will also in future do it like this. The mentioned timerun breaks down into two sections: The jump two the bridge and the sprint to the door leading to the secret beach. And I do admit the jump to the bridge is very challenging. You need to bring Lara in the exactly fitting position and do a running jump very precisely. The second part is just sprinting, nothing too complicated, if the first part was mastered successfully. If you struggle with the jump, you can check Saki's walkthrough, at 1:35:55 she is showing exactly how you have to do it. If this jump led to frustration, I am sorry. Regarding timeruns in general, I hope the non facultative timeruns on the main route are fair. Here we have to see that the Tomb Raider I - III engines limit us in some way on how creative we builders can design innovative gameplay. This is unfortunately not the TombRaider IV engine with things like torches, the raining block, mirrors, multiple flipmaps, etc. In Tomb Raider I - III we mainly need to rely on platforming, movable blocks and switches. So as a TR III builder I am forced to get the maximum out of the limited game components, and yes, doing timeruns is one part of it. So to be honest, I personally would require to implement the from time to time, maybe other TR I - III builders are able to do it without them. Again, thanks for playing and kind regards, Jonas
It's for sure not linear gameplay but overall not so much struggling because I always play the game one time first on my own then again for recording! How is the somersault done at 52:17? I have never seen that move.
From keyboard press jump button, shift, arrows forward and then you press "fine" button while descending and she wiill do somersault! 💕
